Alright, tomorrow I'll add up the point buys and see if there's anything too concerning. I will post all the point buys in here, in spoiler, so that people can freely check my math should I do something wrong.
As far as the game goes-
Here is where it will get interesting.
I'm sure many table GM's will just simply click-drag through narration the party to where the next scene is. I do not :P
If you must travel, we will RP it, random rolls will occur to fulfill my promise of weather etc. as you leave the tavern, and these too will be kept in a spoiler (though not all defined) so you can see what I am doing.
Since this will not be a caravan path (for those of you who know about that part of the game already) you as a group will determine a method and means of going across to the Marshes and finding Walthus. How you do this, what rolls you make, are up to you.
If you are new to this kind of "bare bones" / "self-led" type of adventuring, I am more than happy to help and make suggestions. But as I said-
I prefer a game and method to wildly be in the Player's hands, so that there are no ifs / buts / could have / would haves. Or, rather, they are reduced. :P
Enjoy, and feel free to make preemptive rolls for tomorrows post, or PM me what you'd like to try and do!

Mitsuko: 25
Syeira: 18
Rokkad: 23
"Tree": 16
Ikoma: 37
Shalewen: 32
Oof, yeah, having reviewed these, ugh. I tried out rolling for stats, glad I did this before I looked over more carefully, cause I am *not* a fan.
Hate to do it, but everyone just switch to a 25 point buy system on the ability scores. Even if I did a few of you wrong- the 37 point buy in the same game as even a 23 is just grrrr.
Nothing wrong with you, Ikoma. Just sometimes the dice can't rule everything in a proper way :P
I'll be pretty active this weekend and the coming week.
Around 1pm EST I'll be able to update answers to questions.
By 8pm EST on weekdays I'll be able to update the actual game.
Weekends are a crap shoot on times, but with rare exceptions, I'll always be on <3

Second-
Remember- Kn. Nature, Geography, etc. are good rolls to make as you begin to make your way out.
This will go a little slow at first until you guys get the hang of this style, BUT, it'll be worth it I think :P
Also, for further guidance, you do have access to this essential map of this specific part of Golarion, so that we all know where we are going.

Alright, SO, it seems I may have accidentally rushed something.
I thought Shalewen had separated herself from the group, and then taken off with Shadow based on her seemingly impatient nature.
Based on the confusion occuring now, it appears that "out" meant that she... fell asleep?
Misunderstanding on my end, though no super harm done, as what Shalewen had seen (and you all as you approach) is with resting perception, not an active check.
I will play on Shalewen's survival check, and will say that you all have only just left the Tavern.
We can also retcon it to Shalewen being back asleep, and simply rewrite the posts until you come up to that point.
Sorry about that :P

Rokkad |

I know! The one time I did a Harrow reading for a game, I was on RPGGeek.com. They have an online dice roller that can give you random selections from a standard deck of playing cards. It was a little easier to translate them to cards from the Harrow deck.

Yeah I have a Cartomancer in that shackles campaign I'm hosting for friends IRL-
He posted that 95 + page pdf of harrowing rules.
Brave people for such RP, you all are. <3
Also, @Shalewen

Alright, with the following posts, everyone ready to move forward through the wilderness?
Any preparation or final investigative work should be done before I narrate the next scene, that way I don't throw people off again :P

DavianGrallus |
Going to make a map tonight, post up tomorrow on my lunch.
Anyone have a specific picture they'd like to be their icon for their character? If so, post me a link in here, I'll make that your icon on the map!

VERY good description.
BTW, whoever's initiative is higher for those with companions / eidolons, that is the bonus I rolled for both of you. Having no mob initiative and a wolf going 3 turns after its partner can really slow the game :P

DavianGrallus |
ALSO-
The goblins are purposely not on the map. You can assume they are about 120 feet ahead of you based on Shalewen's report, but those who don't have low-light vision can only barely make them out.
You can target them the same, but this will RP the "20% miss chance" for a few turns as things come closer together.

DavianGrallus |
OK, so, some clarification. Cause somtimes the GM forgets description actually specifically means things in pathfinder.
SO, let's work it here-
1) White Light shown on map = Bright light level.
2) 30 ft. out of that = Normal light
3) 60 ft. + out of that = Low-Light
These ranges double for anyone with low-light vision!

DavianGrallus |
Ah damn, thanks Rokkad. I totally blanked on that! Popping it in there.
We'll be using the *same map and link* for all combat, so you'll only ever need that one!
Also, @Tree- Mitsuko is correct.
@Shalewen yes, those who are before the goblins take their turn now!

DavianGrallus |
No problem :P
At these levels, my main focus is to watch you all
1) Grow as a group
2) Grow as players of the game
3) (most important) Have fun
The rest will come as is necessary.
