A map will be up in the next day or so until then, let's kick this off.
A tall lancet arch at water level leads into a chamber at sea level within the side of the Crow. Inside is what was once a small, stepped terrace, now filled with sea water to the level of its top step. Three rowboats are tied off to heavy stones placed on this step. Above, the ceiling rises almost all the way up to the top of the monument—an opening leads off this shaft to the west near the ceiling. At the west end of this room lies a small alcove whose floor shows the stains of countless campfires—the back wall of this alcove has broken through, revealing a passageway beyond.

A tall thickly muscled Varisian with a dark swarthy complexion approaches. His aquiline nose is slightly crooked from being badly broken and a long cruel scar runs from his lip down his chin. His arms are also covered in jagged scars and he wears a breastplate of fine mithril. Around his waist is a patchwork sash constructed from a multitude of bright colors holding several sharp curved daggers close at hand.
Without a word he hands a date to the tiny monkey perched on his shoulder.
Ayaki
|
Sitting quietly, the anthropomorphic Corvid with a very small pack and a very large sword looks at his new peers and thinks to himself.
I hope what they say about Tengus and boats is true for my companions sake.
In broken common the black feathered man attempts small talk with Adamus.
You are right sir, it is a good day
I hope I said that correctly.

Moving on into the Entry Hall when you are ready:
Rubble from the collapsed wall has been pushed out into the chamber. Traces of recent habitation—bits of trash and rubbish and the odd piece of clothing or equipment—are scattered here and there, though the room now appears to be unused.
To the south an Abandoned Privy:
The foul odor and suspicious stains on the floor reveal that this chamber was used as a privy within the last few weeks. Huddled in one corner are the rotten remains of a small dog.
There are stairs to the north

Markus studies the subject of Adamus's inquiry.
Untrained Craft: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
The scarred varisian mumbles something as he considers the powder.

It cannot be salvaged, it is spoiled.
Making your way further into the crow, up another staircase you come into a room where pillars line the center of this long hall. At the far end is a low rostrum, the dusty stumps of ancient votive candles lining its outer edge. Two of these have been knocked over. Colorful murals of Thassilon pilgrims and giants marching over an intact Irespan cover the walls.

You find your way up four stories of a twisting flight of stairs to a room with bits and pieces of old rubble, fragments of furniture, and broken weapons and armor clutter the floor of this room. This time you have a welcoming party consisting of a rat standing on two legs like a man armed and armored ready to engage in combat with you, on either side of it are to human females with crossbows aimed at you.
Initiatives
Enemy1d20 ⇒ 16 Modifier withheld
Adamus 1d20 ⇒ 18
Ayaki 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Ayaki
|
Ayaki lets loose an arrow at the lady on the right of the rat monster.
Attack vs favored enemy 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 6 + 2 = 20
Damage 1d8 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8
"They are going to attack us!!"
I am posting this before the map goes up, if concealment is a big issue Ayaki will delay his action. I may not be able to access the computer again for a few hours. I forgot the roll for possible arrow recovery.
Kronk
|
Kronk throws a bomb at the rat man.
Attack vs. touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (3, 6) + 3 = 12
Both females are in the splash area (due to splash weapon mastery - 5 damage Ref. DC13 for half damage for the two females)

Ayaki hits the tower girl (TG2 8 damge) while Kronk throws a bomb all the girls try to jump out of the way. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 201d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
(TG1 2 damage, TG2 10 damage, WR 15 damage)
The tower girls drop their hand crossbows and move to close in on Kronk flanking him and creating a bottle neck to deter any others from entering the combat.
TG1 attack Kronk: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 1 + 2 = 22 damage plus sneak: 1d6 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + (5) + 1 = 11
TG2 attack Kronk: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 2 = 10
confirm crit: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 2 = 6
The wererat moves to attack kronk as well.

Heh, I understand I was just curious. It's not a problem.
You mentioned that they moved up flank Kronk but it looks like they're standing in the middle of the room.
Adamus Vintersten
|
"While I appreciate the gesture, you should get back."
Adamus lays a hand on Kronk to relieve him of his wounds. The half orc can feel his strength returning, and he actually feels a little stronger than before.
Lay on Hands: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1) = 9

Markus deftly maneuvers into the room, moving with surprising agility for a man of his size.
Acrobatics vs Thug I: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Acrobatics -2 vs Wererat: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Acrobatics -4 vs Thug II: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Tumbling to that empty corner. I'm sure the last one probably provokes.
Once in position, the varisian pulls a dagger from the sash around his waist and jabs at the woman with deadly force.
MW Dagger /w Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
Damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

If the map is correct
Round 2 Ayaki
Free Actions - Drop Bow, Draw Greatsword
Standard action
Full Attack on TG1 Greatsword 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Damage 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 3) + 6 = 13
Bite attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Damage 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
"Let us lick their butts."
Wait did I say that right?
If the TG1 f=guard was slain by the varisian, add a 5ft step to Ayaki's move and have the attacks resolve vs the wererat. that would reduce the greatsword roll to a 26 and damage to an 11.
Kronk
|
Kronk swings his axe at the wererat (if still standing, otherwise one of the females)
Axe 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Damage 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Bite attack 1d20 ⇒ 4
Damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Markus deftly makes it past the first tower girl and the wererat but the tower girl skilled in those methods of combat know where he is going next and tries to intercept with her shortsword. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 unfortunately she is unable to connect. Markus responds with a dagger to her bag as he finishes his tumble dropping the girl.
Ayaki drops his bow and draws his greatsword and in one fell swoop drops the other tower girl.
Kronk attacks the wererat first with axe then with teeth carving out a chunk of flesh causing it to fall to the ground, bleeding out.
(TG1 dead, TG2 dead, WR dead)
Combat over
Sorry Kronk i got a little overzealous. It should have only been 6 damage.
Well this effectively ends combat. Actions and perception checks please.
Adamus Vintersten
|
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Adamus will help loot the bodies and carry the bodies to a corner of the room. He then retrieves a bedroll and puts it over them. Even the bad guys deserved a little dignity in death. "Good work everyone. Any idea why they were here?" He then starts looking around the room as well.
