Thalrik - Rushes forward, chanting and gesturing, and then shoot out a magical dazzling colorfyl sparkly beam of awesome right into the face of the dogs and one goblin! The goblin and his dog caught in the brunt of the blast immediately gasp and fall unconscious. (4 rounds) The other two dogs avert their beady eyes just in time.

Arthur - Charges forward at the ugly gob in front of him, his mighty wooden club held proudly on high, his vegetative armor looking all super cool.

He cracks it real good like up the side of its giant gob skull and bashes it in. The creature falls to the ground, dying.

Fraadok - Readies his long spear and rushes over to join the ensuing battle.

Not sure if I can, as the map did not update for me.

Fraadok advances on to Idril, drawing the Wand of CLW.

On Going Effects:

Game Master

Hmm... Not sure why the map didnt update but something most certainly went wrong, I'll have to fix that. Either way, Fraadok can totally reach Idril. Only one goblin dog is still alive..

im not positive about the CLW healing the rash (which doesn't stack), I think that is in the realm of a restoration spell. Thalrik, what do you think RAW it would be? Would a cure spell also heal the rash?

Hp 79/79 AC 21 (-1 Perc; +2 Init; Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +7)

A creature affected by this rash takes a –2 penalty to Dexterity and Charisma for 1 day (multiple allergic reactions do not stack). Remove disease or any magical healing removes the rash instantly. This is a disease effect. The save DC is Constitution-based.

So a healing spell will stop the rash but will not remove the penalty. A remove disease will stop the rash but will not remove the penalty. A lesser resto will partially remove them but will not stop the rash...

Game Master

Arthur to the rescue! I read that over and over and somehow missed the 'any magical healing' part! /faceplam. I feel like if the rash is gone, what is remaining to cause the loss of Cha and Dex?... but as its written it would appear they distinguish the rash and effects as two separate things?

Hp 79/79 AC 21 (-1 Perc; +2 Init; Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +7)

the initial affliction of the disease (the rash) cause the loss of Cha and dex. Even though the disease will not linger/spread due to the curing magic the penalty stays. In rp terms you can say that the skin is still tender and red/black etc....

and yes the disease and its effect are two separate thing. Because one can magically treat the effect and not the disease (that will repeat its effect on the next occurence / or treat the disease itself and not the penalty effect ). you need an example?

Game Master

I think I understand. Just because the rash is gone doesn't negate the fact that it already made you uncomfortable.

Hp 79/79 AC 21 (-1 Perc; +2 Init; Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +7)

correct

Human (Shoanti) Cleric, Hp 36/36 AC 19/11/18 (+3 Perc; +1 Init; Fort +5, Ref +2, Will +7; CMD 17)

I have to disagree... The rash causes a penalty to Dex and Cha. Penalty is the key word in the effect. The rash is not causing ability damage or ability drain. Both of these effects require some form of restoration magic to recover.

In this case the rash is the cause of the penalty, and when the rash is gone so is the penalty. A bit overpowered for a CR1 to require both Remove Disease/Cure Magic and some form of Restoration to remove everything, if you want the effects gone immediately.

But I will go with whatever you decide.

Game Master

you have convinced me, Fraadok. Thinking about it, it just makes sense, I guess. Just needed it spelled out to me from a few angles ;p

Yes it is...just liking the fact that the goblins came from the direction that did. I got the long pointy stick, so I can be in the back.

Also, I was looking for them earlier. Where are the rules for Bull Rushing an opponent off a cliff?

Game Master

I cannot seem to find any exact rulings, but here is how I would do it:

If you bullrush an opponent off a cliff (and succeed the CMB check), it will get a reflex save DC equal to what you rolled on the bullrush attempt, +5 for each additional 5' you could push the enemy.

The only rules I can recall that relate to this is when you try to jump a chasm and don't make the jump, then you can make a DC 15 reflex to grab a hold if you are close enough. And that's when you willingly jump...

Adding my take, id allow the DC 15 reflex, assuming the enemy didn't get pushed far enough to not be within reach of the edge (So a medium creature gets pushed 10 feet off the edge, he cant reach it, he falls with no save.

Thalrik fumble confirm: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Thalrik lobs a blob of acid at the goblin, and misses. He misses a whole lot. Aw, no fumble table though!

Well, if you have the Critical Fumble Deck, there's an entry for spells...

Game Master

I do have the critical fumble deck, and the critical hit deck! But there's no way to prove what was what, and some of the rolls on that are super OP ;p

I don't have a problem using it really, I just like to be able to back up what happens.

And, either way, he didn't confirm the fumble. (not sure if it's RAW, but I like to have you guys confirm the fumble, same way a crit would be done.)
