Rameth the Delver |

Yes Rameth took the keys
1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 9 + 2 = 29

Rameth the Delver |

Rameth moves back and warns the others to be ready for an attack. Then he grabs the skeleton.
He moves back to the entrance towards the light and sound
He screams and tosses the skeleton body in, hoping it draws and attack or something
also let's assume Azubah is wearing the chain shirt

Calin Tinderfoot |

"Rameth, do you mind if I use the spear until I can find something else that won't just glance off these skeleton?"
Calin moves to back up Rameth when he opens the door, with Tobbs moving in front of him. Calin at Q11 and Tobbs at q12

Rameth the Delver |

Bit big for you...

![]() |

Dwalindor nods and gets ready to burst into the room on Rameth's command.
Wow, 13 posts, and most in the past hour!

Rameth the Delver |

Rematch gives him one of his clubs instead.
if you are going to be taking negatives, might as well take the negatives with a worse weapon

DMummy |

Just because you said that Dwalindor I went to do something else! MWAHAHAHAHA. In case it wasn't clear, the archway you threw the bones at has a locked gate in it, similar to the gate that you guys had trouble with at the start of this floor.
Remember that gate? The one that could have killed Rameth? Good times.

Calin Tinderfoot |

"I'm just thinking about being able to reach out and touch something."
DMummy said that I could use it normally, however, it would effectively be a long spear for me.
"Either way, I'm ready when you guys are."

DMummy |

I thought you could, it's a medium weapon since it's a normal spear, right?
Edit:
Looking over the rules I think I'm remembering D&D 3, not Pathfinder. Awesome. However in the spirit of treasure usefulness and consistency with previous statements, the spear has an additional property that allows it to resize for the appropriate user - it does 1d6 damage as a small spear in the hands of a small user.
This is why dwarves > halflings.

Dwalindor laughs and yells back
"Yeah! Two faced is right! But the part about us leavin' sure ain't."

![]() |

Dwalindor presses his ear to the door...listening.
"What's that you say? Come out here and say that, cowards! "
Perc : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Intel : 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19 dang was not expecting this one .
"Rameth, they said somethin about the average velocity of a coconut laden sparrow. I don't get it. "

Rameth the Delver |

sorry at a weeklong conference. Calvin, I am going to hold onto tens pear, just doesn't make sense for you to wield it when it is a upgrade for me as a melee fighter. Take a club. In any event we hear voices so prob not undead you can shoot. We will have to but you down blunt arrows.
can't see map Rameth uses the keys and opens locks and charges on spear at the ready

DMummy |

Sorry for the delay.
Dwalindor, you realize that the bluff might not be a bluff - and corridors have a way of wrapping around on themselves.
If it were you, you'd send someone around the corner with the ability to kill you, or at least split your distractions.
And when you turn around you do see a young man with a scroll in his hand turning the corner - and a small, green scorpion that's crept into range with you.
---
Rameth, you survey the room and see two rows of columns support the vaulted ceiling of this large chamber. Inscribed hieroglyphs cover most of the room’s walls, but the southern wall is rough and unfinished. Three passages, each closed with a bronze gate, exit the room to the north, east, and west.
Three people stand in the room surprised by Rameth's bold move - and the fact that he has keys to the gates.
You see a Garundi half-elf dressed in leather with a khopesh, a Garundi human dressed in scale mail with a quarterstaff and a flamboyantly dressed woman in purple with a crossbow.
They stand flabbergasted that you charged in.
The woman stammers at Rameth's battle ready appearance.
Wha..what?
Roll Sense Motive.

Rameth the Delver |

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23 sm

![]() |

Do we recognize any of these from back in town at the tomb assignments?
"Uh boss...we got company back here too.
Also, funny thing. I was looking for Dwalindor's sense motive modifier and just noticed
for the first time he had the furious focus feat I had not been using all this time! :-(

Rameth the Delver |

Just knock them out. Rameth advances with his spear

DMummy |

Yes, actually all of them. On another note we're finally here, at the end of the book! I'm pretty psyched, are you?
Initiative (Idorii): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

The man by you Dwalindor freaks when he realizes you've noticed him, and he seems to forget about the scroll in his hand.
Flinging his hands out he fires several bolts of pure magic at Dwalidnor.
damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Meantime the scorpion crawls towards you and plunges its stinger at Dwalindor as well.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
The stinger is turned against your thick boots.

![]() |

Been pretty cool so far. Will we be going to the next book? Or have we frazzled your GM's nerves with our bickering yet? LOL

Rameth the Delver |

Rameth moves quickly to Q22 and attacks with the spear
Mutated Magic Spear: 1d20 + 8 - 1 + 1 + 1 + 1d6 ⇒ (7) + 8 - 1 + 1 + 1 + (5) = 21 for 1d8 + 7 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 3 + 1 = 15
burnign inspiration

Azubah |

Before Rameth can close on the enemies, Azubah reaches out to inspire him with Aroden's guidance.
Guidance cantrip: +1 to next roll

Rameth the Delver |

FF i hope!
MADE EDITS ABOVE AFTER Azubah

DMummy |

The man in scale mail seems suprised at how fast you move and moves to parry with his quarterstaff but fails to connect before the spear is driven deep into his chest.
Blood erupts from the room and you hear the woman in purple scream as she watches one of her companions skewered.

Idorii |

The half-elven mercenary shakes her head at Rameth's move and lets out in a growls at you.
This is what happens when you bring idealists into the real world.
She brings up her khopesh and pulls a kukri from behind her as she runs smoothly across the floor to attack Rameth.
Attack (Khopesh): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Attack (Kukri): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Damage (Khopesh): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
The kukri doesn't connect but the khopesh does, striking the investigator and adding to the history of wounds in his armor.

![]() |

Is the scorpion small sized and in its own square or is it tiny and entered Dwalindor's space to attack him? Just trying to determine if it is blocking him from getting to the man with the scroll in the rear of the party.

![]() |

Dwalindor still has Calin and Velriana before he goes. Or should I post his action since they are in the front room and he is in the rear?

![]() |

Ignoring the scorpion for now, Dwalindor will step to the southwest (5') and then take a two handed swing at the scroll holder.
"Not so fast there, bucco!"
Dwalindor CI lucern hammer, reach, PA+FF: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
for dmg: 1d12 + 4 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 4 + 3 = 18

Calin Tinderfoot |

Calin takes on the Aspect of the Tiger, takes aim at the enemy in front of him Q23 and fires.
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Tobbs moves in to attack R23 and attempts to take a bit out of the same foe.
bite: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

DMummy |

Calin's arrow hits the Garundi and sticks in between the scales on his chest, and he looks worse than ever, his dark skin gaining a grey pallor.
Tobin is unable to firmly lock his jaws around the targets form due to its wavering.
Meanwhile the purple clad adventurer, Velriana, sweeps her hands through a series of gestures and spits arcane syllables out as a dart of acid flies from her hands and strikes Rameth.
Damage (Acid Arrow): 2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
The acid burns Rameth and continues to burn, fueled by arcane might.
Damage next round: Damage (Acid Arrow): 2d4 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5
The Garundi man meanwhile invokes a prayer to Nethys and you see light erupt around the wounds you've caused.
Casting Defensively Concentration: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (5, 6) + 3 = 14
His wounds magically knit and color returns to his face. He glowers at you for your terrible attacks.

Rameth the Delver |

No attack roll for acid arrow?! I know it is a touch attack but into Melee possibly with some cover I have a chance

Rameth the Delver |

Dm any answer on the attack ro question? Might change what I do

Rameth the Delver |

yes that will hit. I have already marked damage for both rounds
Azubah get over here and hit me with that stick!

Rameth the Delver |

yes that will hit. I have already marked damage for both rounds
Azubah get over here and hit me with that stick!
hmm, what to do
Rematch steps back and chugs down one of the found CMW potions. 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (5, 8) + 3 = 16

DMummy |

Ha! 16 points, it's hilarious.
The half-elf's eyes widen as you step back.
Is that a lion? What in the Nine Hells?
She responds to Reameth's maneuver by sticking her khopesh out to try and pull his legs out from under him while he drink.
Attack (Improved Trip): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
The maneuver fails, no doubt unnerved by the presence of a giant hunting cat in the tomb - made more ominous by being lit by torchlight.

Rameth the Delver |

yes it is. It will kill you theb my three headed dog will battle over your bones!
A harmonized bark comes from Rameths satchel

Calin Tinderfoot |

I'll keep you covered Rameth. Tobbs give him something to think about!
Tobbs lets out a ROARRrrrrr! and moves 5 feet to Q24 and attack.
Bite: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Calin takes aim and fires at the same attacker.
Bow: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 2 = 11Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
