Sounds like a workable plan

Azubah can be the Sir Robin of Golarion.
Bravely bold Azubah
Rode forth from Wati.
He was not afraid to die,
Oh brave Azubah.
He was not at all afraid
To be killed in nasty ways.
Brave, brave, brave, brave Azubah.
He was not in the least bit scared
To be mashed into a pulp.
Or to have his eyes gouged out,
And his elbows broken.
To have his kneecaps split
And his body burned away,
And his limbs all hacked and mangled
Brave Azubah.
His head smashed in
And his heart cut out
And his liver removed
And his bowels unplugged
And his nostrils raped
And his bottom burnt off
And his pen--

You have me confused with some other Azubah.

Gold and gems still sell at 100% because they have intrinsic value.
And don't forget that tube of an unknown substance you need to identify/appraise as well!
Item prices have plummeted however because the market's flooding - they're at 25% based on available gold and increased supply.
Ibrahim is willing to store items for you however to allow you to resell later and there's rumors of an auction once you finish your explorations.
Last, you found two rings - the magical one and the one with the fiance's inscription on the inside. The one with the fiance's inscription came from the fresher corpse so you might be able to return the ring for a reward.
On a final note, since gold is flooding the local market it might be wise to barter for a secured rate rather than find out rooms now cost 5 gp a night because they can sell them for that.

1d20 ⇒ 20 spellcraft +10
1d20 ⇒ 20 alchemy +10
4d20 ⇒ (9, 6, 4, 16) = 35appraise checks +9

ok dm 3000 is definitely fair, we are either a little above or a little below but that is roughly it I think
these are the items that we need info on still
A silver anklet set with tingy gems
and an ankh charm,
a tarnished silver serving tray
small ornate vase
gold ring
vial of goop
All the stuff that Rameth sells (Weapons and gems etc I have added his bonus from the trait)
I will let our friend store the rest till it is more valuable
once i know the result of the above stuff, I will finish loot tabulation
do we take level 3?
Rameth the Delver |
suweet!
Any thoughts on what Feat to take? Great Fortitude? Toughness is an option since I am the first one into combat usually, without reach, I could take weapon focus, or furious focus, other ideas? Or maybe the human feat surge of success cause it is nifty?
Also as far as my investigator talent I am thinking will take alchemist discovery (mutagen)
MiniGM |
the other possibility is extra investigator talent and take
Effortless Aid (Ex): The investigator can use an aid another action as a move action instead of as a standard action. An investigator can expend one use of inspiration to instead perform an aid another action as a swift action.
if I were to do that I would be going down a vital strike path
Rameth the Delver |
i have power attack already, i take mutagen definitely
the question is what to do with my level 3 feat :) i can take the aid as (additional Investigator Talent) or one of the others. so hard to choose.

Ah, didn't realize/remember you had Power Attack. You're pretty much open I think since you're not getting slashing/fencing grace; I would not get Additional Investigator Talent until you get to Amazing/Combat Inspiration and more.
I think I have a bookmark on my home PC for Investigator combat builds at low level, I will try to find that when I get home.

Found it via science!

Yes but if you are going to spend 2 feats its better to dip 1 lvl in fighter (or armored hulk barbarian) and grab +2 fort, +1 bab, shield, extra skills proficience and an extra feat insted.
Actually I think a dip into fighter is counter-productive in an organic build. A lot of your combat capability as an Investigator depends on getting Investigator levels quickly to gain access to higher level formulas (particularly level 2 formulas) and discoveries that come with main class levels (particularly mutagen or infusion).
In my opinion there's also a paucity of good low level feats for Investigator. So I don't think Medium/Heavy is a poor investment.
Power Attack is the only one you can grab before 7 that makes a positive impact on your offensive ability for Strength-based Investigators.
OTOH if he had a Dex-based character a one-level dip into Swashbuckler would be a great idea since you get weapon finesse and weapon focus (rapier) for free, and that allows you to take Fencing Grace in order to have Dex-to-damage for your best Investigator Weapon.
I think bill take either furious focus or the extra talent not sure yet. What do you hours think between those two
Furious Focus seems like a waste to me, since you can't use rapiers or sword canes with both hands to add strength, and light weapons gain no advantage to damage with two hands either.
That limits you to clubs, morningstars, heavy maces and spears which have a 20-only critical range.

finally totaling our sales of stuff we can sell
Also selling the goop, I don't think we are going to use it, it is particularly valuable with Rameths trait ability
Is the sanctify corspe statue something we can sell or is that an auction item.
each of us, not Sumak get 677 gold 3 silver and 8 copper
Also DM is it a local check to try to identify who that ring belongs to?
DMummy |
You can use Knowledge (Local) or Diplomacy to try and locate the "owner" - although there is always the city guard and the temple guard, who do things like locate missing people for Wati (that's something at least one of you would look at.
You probably factored it in, but keep in mind sale prices for everything are depressed, so unless it's coinage or gemstones, you only get 25% of the value of the item. There's simply too much treasure floating around Wati for people to pay the full price. Selling it at auction would net you normal sale value however as if selling the items normally.
Rameth the Delver |
oh my mistake I thought that was just items of old, like the platters and stuff. So i sold the crossbows and armor and the goop at normal price. I will have to recalculate folks.

Just drinking and chatting for me.
Dwalindor the Pahmet |
Same here on Dwalindor. Where was the loot sheet? Are we keeping anything?
edit...wow, I missed a lot here. Found the roll for the ring...that is good. .
I was so busy at work last week, I missed leveling Dwalindor. Not sure if I was another level of barbarian or throw in a level of ranger to let him use wands. I always like having a backup plan and Dwalindor seems pretty one-dimisional right now.
Any advice on what we need?
