Kyren Tosscobble |

Kyren moves his hand in a quick flourish and declares "Feathermalever!" to cast feather fall upon himself and the remaining party members (6 medium sized creatures). He casts a second one if needed.
"Let's get carried away! Not like our usual shenanigans. We'll do that later, but carried away as the wind gently takes down to the ground!"
Kyren makes sure the rest are floating safely down before he jumps off the pyramid yelling "Kazaaaaaaam!".

Vaughn Elliot |

(Once the kids are all safe...)
Vaughn shrugs, and brings up the rear with a flying leap.

Zyren DM |

The kids fearfully mount the giant eagle and while underneath still a mass of mindless zombies tries hard to tear the pyramid apart entirely the majestic bird swoops down to bring the girls to a safe place...
Gliding pigs, half-orcs and rogues follow and pretty much simultaneously with Kyren's jump, the pyramid gives a last painful screech and then like a titanic malformed tree falls to one side...
All non birds: Acrobatics Check Dc 15 not to get hit by shrapnels of all sorts...debris, zombies, metal shards...:)

Vaughn Elliot |

Acrobatics: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Vaughn can't quite land from the Featherfall in time to get his feet properly under him to avoid the shrapnel...

Kyren Tosscobble |

Kyren nimbly dodges out of the way by pretending he is the feather of an eagle. Not unlike his work with gliders, the Tosscobble flows with the wind current and avoids being struck on the head by an unwelcome shard.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
"Krazzleboks! Look out for flying debris and chunks of metal!. I guess they just don't make pyramids the way the use to!"
Once he lands on the ground, he brushes himself off and immediately casts mage hand to direct the light weight feather falling friends to a safer location.
"Feather, feather, avoid the weather! It's raining more than cats and dogs!"
He will try to aid somebody who looks like they are having trouble floating down safely.

Alcheringa Unleashed |

Action bird watches the pretty explosion...
Roll credits with funky soundtrack?

Zyren DM |

Kyren is able to pull Tal out of the way of a large metal tile that would have ripped the cleric neatly in two halves.
Berry and Vuaghn lack Kyren's assistance, but Desna smiles on them and they only get hit by some smaller pieces of rubble
Damage2d10 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
While behind you the pyramid smashes hundreds of zombies to pulp, you are all able to glide to a nearby rooftop...save at last.

Vaughn Elliot |

Vaughn looks at Bunta's impressive tonnage. That, my friend, is going to take a *lot* of sake...

Kyren Tosscobble |

"My friends, let's us not talk of hallucinogenic drugs and getting drunk in the presence of these great children. Naturally, we all want to celebrate the rescuing of these little darlings, but let's wait until we've put them to bed! Come, let's make our way home."
Kyren gladly says goodbye to the pyramid, the cultists, and the zombies and leads his companions back to the Revive.

Vaughn Elliot |

Yeah, you're right. Let's get out of this dump.
Vaughn offers one last glance back at the ruined pyramid, going so far as to spit on the closest piece of rubble, then turns his back on it to bring the children to safety.

Zyren DM |

The children are in a state of paralysis - even in a city like Kaer Maga, a host of undead attacking and destroying a giant pyramid, the rescue from the clutches of pyramid-headed monstrosities and the escape on the wings of a giant eagle isn't something usual...
As you reach the Revive, word about the devastation in the centre of Ankar-Te has already spread and everyone gives you a wide berth...very much to the annoyance of Bobo who sits on the Revive's stairs and arches an eyebrow as you draw closer
Kyren...best friend and cousin...WHAT have you done this time? No one - not even a zombie sets a foot or stump into the Revive...not even on ROAST Day! And...oh...who are all these girls?

Kyren Tosscobble |

"Kyren! I demand an answer! Where are all these girls supposed to stay?!"
"Bobo, my cousin, I was sure you would be delighted to have some young ladies staying with us! You know what they say about the Revive, don't you? There's always room for one more! Let them come on in! There's always room. We'll let them share one of the guest rooms. We just need to make sure that we have enough food to keep them well fed. I hope you've got some of Gobbletor's recipes all lined up!"

Zyren DM |

Aye...we still have the first floor and the cellar...I guess there shoulb be enough space for everyone...why don't you show the girls their rooms, cousin? Oh, did you hear that the pyramid has come down, snashing about a score of houses? Funny eh? I really wonder what the Godess is doing now, hah.
Bobo shouts while quickly putting together a cookie dough

Kyren Tosscobble |

"Right you are Bobo. Crazzleboks! Where are my manners?!"
Kyren scurries out to welcome the young girls to the Revive.
"Well my dears, here we are at the Revive for a Better Life, a home in the midst of a crazy city to help those get on their feet and prepare to find their way again. We have entertained many guests before, and you, my darlings, will not be the last. We Wee Bluets pride ourselves on being able to come to the aid of those in need. So, please come in and make yourself at home. Soon I will show you to your rooms, but first, our great chef, (my cousin, Bobo) will be coming out with cookies very shortly. I'm not sure if you've ever had such a delicacy, but either way, you are in for a treat! He is becoming a truly remarkable chef. He has actually studied under the master chef Gondel Gobbletor. Just wait until you taste these circular treats of exquisiteness! So please, my friends, have a seat and let us visit. Perhaps we should begin with some proper introductions. I am Kyren S. Tosscobble at your service. Please be kind enough to give me your names. I would love to hear your stories."

Zyren DM |

At first slowly and very shyly the girls, one by one, say their names, but as if the procedure would dispel all resistances, in the end, most of the kids smile and look quite happy to have reached the Revive.
As soon as Bobo has put the cookies into the oven he returns from the kitchen and grins
Kyren, you would do a great job as maitre...should you ever quit adventuring...I'll always have a job for you...Ok, I'll call Abacus to show the girls their rooms
Once the dark-skinned permanent guest of the Revive has taken the girls with him, Bobo wonders how your plans look like
How did your meeting with Ilaktya go? Yould you help him?

Kyren Tosscobble |

"Kyren, you would do a great job as maitre...should you ever quit adventuring...I'll always have a job for you...Ok, I'll call Abacus to show the girls their rooms."
"The job of hosting is always a delightful one, but I will never fulfill my destiny if I do not get out there and live my life to the fullest! There is a reason that I was born during an eclipse and I must let the universe unfold as it may to get me there. However, I'm not convinced that it will be as a head waiter. Perhaps as the world champion Tzarek player, but even so, there must be more life than just fun and games!"

Kyren Tosscobble |

"Yes, that's exactly what Aunt Muldova would say, but she was always a naysayer who never liked anyone getting too big for their britches. But she's never seen true arcane power like mine. Can you picture the expression on her face if she saw how powerful I've become."
At those words, Kyren casts Mage Hand and levitates a cookie from the plate to his hand. He takes a bite and declares, "Mmmm, these are quite good, cousin."

Vaughn Elliot |

That's a trick I know atleast uh...five, no, six people could perform! Kyren, Kyren, it's not for a halfling to have such high-fyling plans and ideas...anyway, now that the girls are safe, what are you going to do next? Oh and stop eating the cookies, they aren't for you!
Yeah!! Vaughn grabs a couple treats and winks at Bobo.
Around a mouthful of cookie, Vaughn answers the Littlest Chef. Nunno that we have any plans yet. You guys have any ideas?

Zyren DM |

At least one sane person! Bobo mutters and gives Berry a pat on the tigh.
But Kyren, what about the girls? I cannot keep all of them here...maybe two or three to help Berry, but you have to find a solution for the others...what about your friends in this city? You have to have made some friends, right?
Bobo then ignores Vaughn's theft, but quickly keeps the plates with cookies behind his back.

Kyren Tosscobble |

"But Kyren, what about the girls? I cannot keep all of them here...maybe two or three to help Berry, but you have to find a solution for the others...what about your friends in this city? You have to have made some friends, right?"
"Yes, yes, Bobo. I'll take care of finding a place for the girls, but give me a few days. I'll stop by the broken chain and see if they can help. The Bellflower network is always happy to support someone who is releasing children from slavery!"
"Oh I think I'm done adventuring for a while."
Berry? I thought you were having fun with us? I didn't say something to offend you did I?"

Berry Peelyblossom |

"No, no. I think I've just started and reached the pinnacle of an adventuring career in the course of a few days. I've watched an elf who occasionally mauls people as a tiger hold a civil conversation with a massive talking snake. I've blown up a pyramid, several dozen zombies, and freed numerous innocent girls from a deathcult while said pyramid was being overrun by hordes of the undead. And it was only a few days ago I reunited with my family and got a steady job that didn't involve weird people in back alleys. But rather weird people with strange food. I think I just want to settle down with some research catch up with my uncle and spend a few quiet years maybe possibly considering the idea of a normal existence."

Zyren DM |

Bbo's gaze goes into nowhere as he listens to Berry, once she has finished, the halfling scratches his chin
If I wouldn't know you, I would say you should take less of the violet fungi...that's a really odd tale, but I guess nowhere is a better place to tell it than here...Ah well, I'm happy and call myself lucky that I'll have your helping hand here, Berry!

Kyren Tosscobble |

"But rather weird people with strange food. I think I just want to settle down with some research catch up with my uncle and spend a few quiet years maybe possibly considering the idea of a normal existence."
"Well, Berry, my dear. I want you to know that once you are a Wee Bluet, you are always a Wee Bluet. We will miss you with your crazy elixirs and potions, but I trust you will do what is best for you. Do keep in touch and don't be too much of a stranger. You can always keep working for Bobo as a waitress. We can always use good wait staff around here. Just make sure you don't drop some mutagen in our soup!"
"Well, thanks for everything you've done for us!"
Kyren races up and gives Berry an embrace.
"Thank you!"
