Lawdrak thinks for a moment. "I think if we try to fight from a distance, now might not be the time for this speed,"

"I can add a flaming sphere to the fight," he offers.

Dereje grimaces when he hears that they have even more salt wights ahead of them. I suppose I should not be surprised.

"My gun won't be very effective at this range," he says, taking the measure of the distance between them and the enemy. "But I can at least grab their attention."

Creeping to the front of the group, Dereje wades into the water and aims his gun at the nearest wight. It is well out of his gun's effective range, but he could at least get things started. He pulls the trigger, letting out a loud blast that almost assuredly misses, but is impossible not to notice.

Much to Dereje's fears, the shot does miss and certainly gains the attention of the salt wights in the chamber as the undead horrors begin making their way toward you.

Sarvas runs up along the banks of the stream, before diving in and beginning to swim across to enter the battle.

The salt wight injured by Hana claws at the samurai-ko, while another wight and the blue skinned salt wight move in to attack Sharpmaw. Fortunately for the party, none of the attacks seem particularly skilled, although the heavy pick swung by the blue skinned wight does seem to be significantly more deadly than the wight's claws.

Dereje blasts a hole into the chest of the female salt wight, resulting in a cloud of salt dust, but the creature still stands.

Lawdrak and Sharpmaw move in, and attempt to finish off the female wight with a combined attack, but only Lawdrak manages to land his strike

Savras moves around his target, moving into a flanking position with Mum's pet before striking at, but missing the salt wight.

The salt wights move to attack Savras and Hana, both landing their attacks. Savras is badly wounded by the attack and obviously woozy. The Blue Warrior turns his attention to the rogue and plants his pick into Savras's back - dropping the rogue face first into the salty water.

GAsping a little as the effect of the undead's draining hits him, Lawdrak lays hold of thier unconcoous colleague and heaves him back five feet.

Lawdrak, as best I can tell you succeeded on the Fort Save, so no negative level for you.

Dereje blasts the female wight into oblivion, leaving Sharpmaw to chomp down and destroy one of remaining wights.

The blue skinned wight again steps away, taking position behind ominously glowing orb on the island. The energy surging from the orb seems to close some of the wound made in the creature's body.

The remaining salt wight not controlled by Estietre, swings harmlessly at Hana before the samurai-ko lops the head clean from the creature's shoulders.

Losing his line of fire to the remaining wight, Dereje hustles onto the little islet, eyeing the strange orb as he passes by.

Estietre blasts the blue skinned wight with a bolt of radiant energy. Her pet wight's few wounds seem to heal as it approaches the orb.

Dereje and Sharpmaw feel drained as they step onto the island and get closer to the orb.

Dereje and Sharpmaw take 8 negative energy damage. DC 18 Will Save for half damage.

Seemingly emboldened by the orb, the blue warrior strikes at Sharpmaw, sinking a pick deep into the t-rex's leg.

Sharpmaw takes 14 damage and needs to make a Fort Save DC 18 or take a negative level.

Forgot to track it before, but Dereje recovered 1 grit when he destroyed the other wight. He will use it to use smiting shot on the remaining one.

Hana lets out a heavy breath, her sword drooping. Then she raises it above her head and rushes the orb, slicing at it with her enchanted katana.
