You are passengers on a cargo ship called the Jenivere, headed south to Sargava. The voyage promises not only to bring you and your fellow passengers together as you face adversity, but also to set you on a path into the very heart of one of Golarion’s most feared regions in search of wealth, fame, and ancient secrets.

It was actually 25 hrs from the first post in which I had you listed before the scorpions, but no matter.

Also, you will be up in Round 5 prior to the sea scorpions, so feel free to post your Round 5 actions at your leisure.

As he stumbles to the pile, dizzily dropping to one knee as he lays hands on the butt of his spear-shaft, protruding from under a heavy pack, Lawdrak lets out a shrill whistle, and a yell of "Oi! Sharpmaw!".
He draws the spear out, shaking it a few times as the heavy, triangular head catches on something int he pile, then turns and, heedless of the long, whip-like tails, runs to aid the unconscious gnome.

Standard action to pull the spear, move action to loop behind Dereje. I should still provoke from blue and green. Free action to yell for my lost and lonely dinosaur, even if he won't be able to hear me. *sniff*

For a moment, Adara feels something start to course through her blood making her limbs feel sluggish. But then she feels the fire in her belly begin to burn, and whatever was trying to ruin her body's nervous control is consumed in it. Instead, her blood boils and anger fills her.

"No!" Adara bellows. "No, no, no!" How dare these...creatures interrupt dinner! Reality has not quite set in for Adara yet.

She takes several steps forward and thrusts out one hand. The hand is missing its glove and what can be seen is horrible. Flesh black as if cooked until the skin had flaked to ash. Horrible burns under the blackened portion leave the muscle below red and angry. Her other hand is still gloved but somehow in the tragedy that has befallen the party, this blackened claw lost its protective cover. Adara's ruined hand erupts as fire pours out of her crispy palm and blasts the horrid creatures before her.

"Bloody hell, what in the Nine Hells happened?" Aerys groans as she gets to her feet.

Ishirou, Sasha, and a man in manacles groan as they stagger to their feet, looking around the beach.

To the south, a wall of green rises in the form of a dense jungle filled with a cacophony of life. To the east and west, ragged arms of jagged rocks reach out to embrace a wave-tossed cove, while to the north, the waters of the sea surge and churn between the beach and a line of razor-sharp rocks.

Mizu whips her sword in an arc that sprays viscera from the blade, then carefully wipes it on her damp clothing. Her lips press together in disapproval at having to wipe the blade against salt water, but there's nothing to do for it.

Grand Lodge

As Mizu points out the ship, the shackled man comments, "It appears that the ship may still be intact enough to contain something of use. Perhaps if we are lucky the galley still has some of the provisions aboard."

More quietly he adds, "Maybe the key to my bonds is still in the Captain's cabin. If I can be freed and my belongings are still on the ship, I can be of aid healing and providing fresh water."

INACTIVE - GAME DIED

"I can easily swim out there," says Mizu, "but we should establish a good place to camp first. No sense in my hauling back a bunch of provisions if we don't know what we need, or where to bring them."

Grand Lodge

The tide is currently low, allowing a slippery but walkable path to the wreck of [i]Jenivere.[/b]. With the way the ship is perched on the rocks, you would imagine that the wreckage will be washed out to sea with the high tide.

Is there anything Adara can do about the illness or poison? I'm not even sure if this counts as Treating Deadly Wounds or not, so these rolls may be superfluous... :_(

After her examinations, Adara should have a pretty good idea of who is most in need of actual divine healing if anyone.

@Everyone: Not everyone's HP totals are fully accurate in their byline, I don't think...? If everyone wouldn't mind dropping a total for me, I can best determine if using Adara's last spells for the day would be a good move. Since we just started, I'm iffy on spending them unnecessarily if most people are just injured with NL damage.

After seeing to everyone's injuries, Adara blearily looks around. Her eyes look up to sun high above and its hot tropical rays beating down. Seeing everyone still milling around, she begins issuing orders without thought.

"As much as I welcome the Dawnflower's powerful light, in our condition, we should find shade and remove ourselves from this beach if no suitable refuge can be located nearby."

She waves a hand to indicate Lawdrak and any others who may be inured or have difficulty walking. "Gather up the gear we can, and let's help move these people to safety. We can sort out who owns what once we've done so."

Pointing to Mizu no Hana, Adara says, "You say you can swim excellently, Mizu. I suggest you and at least one other who is a strong swimmer attempt to reach the Jenivere before the tide pulls it out to sea or otherwise makes it treacherous. Make for the hold if possible. Much of the ship's goods may yet be intact, and Lawdrak has much lamented his dinosaur companion has been locked up in it. I feel strongly his companion will be of great aid to us in our present circumstances. Such a creature should be perfectly at home in this," she waves a hand at the jungle beyond the shore's sands.

"Once we have situated ourselves more securely, I will send those with ranged skills to try and cover you in the event more of these," Adara kicks the carcass of one of the giant arachnid creatures, "attempt to accost you. But I imagine you will mostly be on your own, and they may be more adroit in these turbulent waters than what we can account from shore."

Adara looks around as everyone looks at her aghast or surprised at her barking commands.
