Let's get inside and get into position Kev, the rest of the group can start following 10 seconds or so behind so we catch them in a flank... Let's move before this potion wears off. Morghrim whispers.

Male Human Fighter

Following the Inquisitor's suggestion, Bron grips the haft of his flail tightly in hand as he counts the seconds in his head after the duo move back into the shrine. After ten seconds, Bron will move into the room, eyes alert and muscles slightly tensed and ready.

Male Human Cleric 5 / Inheritor's Crusader 1

Hot on the heels of Bron, Valeron alert and ready, enters the former shrine.

Grand Lodge

Ok here's a MAP of the area, just let me know where you would like to be.

Kev advances slowly down to the very end and listens at the far end. Square AR7.

Ok sounds good, I will resolve the rest of this after I get intial locations for everyone.

Addie follows behind Valeron, warily scanning the chamber for any hidden surprises.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Addie will stay near Valeron.

Male Human Cleric 5 / Inheritor's Crusader 1

Feeling confident that Kevorin and Morhgrim have scouted the early chambers as clear, Valeron continues into the shrine.

M9 to start, assuming any enemies would come via the tunnel towards us, he'll keep Addie at his side in M-10 if Addie is OK with that.

Morghrim simply attempts to keep up with Kevorin and heading towards the voices, struggling due to his Invisibility.

Would Morghrim like for Kev to hold his hand? :D

I... I don't think i'm ready for that kind of commitment yet... What if your big 19 strength hands hurt me...

Grand Lodge

Taking a quick look down each hallway, Kevorin sees at least two tieflings approaching from either direction.

The tieflings seem to be having idle conversation and are not alerted to your presence.

HP: 44 /44; 0 non-lethal AC 19; touch 14; flat-footed 16 Fort: +5; Reflex: +5; Will: -1

If it isn't going to disrupt the invisibility, Kevorin does grope for Morgrhim and whispers ever so softly, "Two on left, two on right. I got the left ones.".

Kev then moves up quickly to AS6.
Stealth check: 1d20 + 6 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 6 + 20 = 29

Morghrim whispers back-

Fine by me..

And he moves to AS8.

1d20 + 25 ⇒ (3) + 25 = 28

Woot surprise round...

Grand Lodge

Ok, let's see the result of that surprise round. I stopped the one on Morghrim 10ft away figuring he was using his glaive.

HP 53/53, AC- 21, Flat-Footed- 19, Touch- 12 CMD 19, Fort- +9, Reflex- +6, Will- +10, Perception- +13, Init- +5, AOO- +9 (1d10+6), Judgement 2/2, Bane 6/6

Yeah thats correct. The party should be roughly two sets of double
moves behind us as they waited ten seconds and started following.

Grinning as he appears in front of the startled Tiefling swinging a freshly sharpened Shelyn's Kiss, Morghrim aims high, hoping to behead the fiend before he can cause him any trouble, and then quicksteps back away from his foe.

Swift action= Destruction judgement, +1 damage
Standard action- Glaive swing.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 Includes Invis bonus, VS flat-footed.
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 Includes Judgement and Whetstone.
Free action, 5 foot step to AS7, forcing the Tieflings to take an AOO to get into melee with him.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15Initiative Roll.

Edited to add a point of damage, forgot Str x 1.5 stuff.

Male Human Cleric 5 / Inheritor's Crusader 1

Oblivious to the battle that is just beginning a mere 160 feet away, Valeron shifts his weight between his two mailed boots as he approaches Bron's right shoulder.

"I think those two likely went down that long hallway," he begins, as he follows the cavalier's gaze down the long passage. "See anything? Should we head down that way?"

The cleric is clearly unused to a concept such as sneaking around a tiefling lair.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

HP: 44 /44; 0 non-lethal AC 19; touch 14; flat-footed 16 Fort: +5; Reflex: +5; Will: -1

Kevorin rages and attacks. His AC is 14
Great Axe attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 2 = 25
Great Axe damage: 1d12 + 9 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 9 + (1) = 16

If that drops the first tiefling, he'll take a 5-foot step forwards.
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Grand Lodge

I'll make a more detailed post later but the quick verision is Morghrim and Kevorin drop their targets, and the rest of the party hears the tieflings death screams. You can each roll your own initiative if you so choose, or I will roll it later tonight.

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Male Human Fighter

Responding to the death screams, Bron says, "No, but I sure hear something." As he starts to move down the corridor, pointing to Valeron to watch one of the side passages while he moves to another.

Initiative:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Double move to AF7 in case the tieflings try to go after Kev and Mor from behind.

Male Human Cleric 5 / Inheritor's Crusader 1

Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 2

The Iomedan pauses for a moment as if in contemplation before heading down the passage with as much haste as he can muster.

Grand Lodge

From under the cloak of invisibility, Kevorin and Morghrim easily dispact two tieflings, becoming visible after slaying their targets.

Perception DC39:
You hear the flapping of wings from the northwest-most passage.

Addie and Bron (I have your action already) are up, then the tieflings.

Initiative Order:

?
Addie
Bron
Tieflings #1
Morghrim
Wart
Tieflings #2
Kevorin
Valeron

If an AOO is provoked this round, use this roll:

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
1d10 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Male Halfling Alchemist : 4

I don't think that I am actually going to change anything as far as the character goes, though I do believe that I will purchase that alchemist's kit and retcon out the purchase of the spell component pouch. And I will have prepared my standard extracts.

Perception check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 Not so much!

Addie pauses for a moment to cast a Dancing Lights spell and mentally directs the four torch-like lights to move down the corridor before following behind them. (Addie sends the lights to squares AA-7, AB-7, AB-8, and AC-7, and moves 30 ft. to square Y-7)

Grand Lodge

Addie sends her dancing lights down the hallway and follows. Bron charges down the corridor clanking all the way.

The rear tiefling on Kevorin's side mutters a few words and touches himself with a glowing hand.

Spellcraft DC12:
Shield of Faith

The remaining two, one 5ft stepping away from Kevorin and the other 5ft stepping toward Morghrim each unleash waves of black energy.

Morghrim and Kevorin, I need two will saves vs. channel negative energy, one DC 12, the other DC 13

For the DC 12 Save:1d6 ⇒ 2...a whole 1 point if you save

For the DC 13 Save:2d6 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4...an equally impressive 2 points if you save.

Morghrim and Wart are up...

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Sneering at the puny energies flowing through him, Morghrim hacks at his latest foe with Shelyn's Kiss, switching out his judgement which immediately begins healing his wounds. After making his strike, he steps up close to the Tiefling, too close to easily use his weapon but enabling him to easily strike his foe should he try and escape.

Down 2 points of damage.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
1d10 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

In order to attack the tiefling you would have to 5ft step to him first...I will assume that you have done this, since the shot drops him where he stands.

Kev grits his teeth against the negative energy, 5-ft steps up and hacks at the priest.
Great axe attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 8 + 2 = 22
Great axe damage: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

"Help yourself, just leave me room!"

Male Halfling Alchemist : 4

Wart moves slowly and deliberately up the corridor to stand next to Black Addie. Creeping along the corridor, his shadow huge behind him, and his feet making splashes in the water. 13 is not bad, but I fear not good enough.

Actions, Dice & OOC:
  • Double Move to X7
  • Stealth Check: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

Grand Lodge

Morghrim lands a deadly blow on the the tiefling priest in front of him. Wart moves into position when the doors in the hallway fly open and more tieflings, having heard the sounds of combat and Bron's armor clanking down the hall, begin to pour out into the hallway.

One tiefling is quick enough to attack Bron, swinging a heavy mace at the cavalier's head. Bron is agile enough to dodge the worst part of what would have been a skull crushing blow, but still feels the sting of the mace off of the left side of his face.

Bron take 8 damage from a potential critical that was not confirmed.

Kevorin, with bloodlust in his heart, steps forward and mercilessly dispatches another tiefling priest.

Valeron you are up, followed by ? and then Addie and Bron

Male Human Cleric 5 / Inheritor's Crusader 1

This can't be good. Valeron rushes ahead of Addie and Wart in an effort to protect the halfling and witch from the oncoming tieflings.

As he steps ahead of them, he holds his shield up, eyes squinting in an effort to make out how many Bron is fighting ahead.

Double move to Z-7

Grand Lodge

Valeron moves down the hall to protect Addie.

Wart is surprised by a sudden pain in his shoulder, as turns to see a small winged creature with a barbed tail. The tail is what is causing the pain in Wart's shoulder.

Wart, take 5 damage and give me a DC 13 Fort save.

If Save Fails:
Take 2 points of Dexterity damage.

Addie and Bron are up. Please note that I've added rows to the top of the map, so Valeron is now in Z12 as opposed to Z7 as stated in his post.

Hearing Wart gasp in pain, Addie whirls around and sees the small winged creature with its barbed tail sticking into the halfling's shoulder.

Addie focuses her will and glares at the infernal creature, attempting to instil a sense of dreadful doubt into its mind. (Evil Eye Hex: imp takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls for duration of 7 rounds; Will DC 15 reduces duration to 1 round.)

Grand Lodge

Will Save:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

The imp screeches and is visibll shaken as Addie glares at it.

Bron is up.

Male Human Fighter

Shaking his head a bit at the sound blow, Bron brings his own bludgeoning weapon to bear, letting the heavy metal ball swing through the air as he aims for the tieflings body.

Attack:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Damage:1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

HP: 44 /44; 0 non-lethal AC 19; touch 14; flat-footed 16 Fort: +5; Reflex: +5; Will: -1

Next round:
Kev will either step forward, or charge if needed to attack the tiefling in front of him.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 8 + 2 + 2 = 16 (if charging)
Damage: 1d12 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
If that drops the tiefling, he will end his rage now (with 1 round left) so that he still has some steam left when he gets back into the battle.

Male Halfling Alchemist : 4

Fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 (8 if it is vs. poison) vs. DC 13

No Dice!

Wart whimpers as the poison courses through his veins, causing racking pain and his shivers uncontrollably.

Grand Lodge

Apparently still shaken from the blow that landed on the side of his head, Bron swings wildly, missing the tiefling.

Having seen a number of his companions drop to the floor, the remaining tiefling near Kevorin makes a run for it.

Morghrim and Wart are up. Wart you gave me a save at the begining of the round when the imp hit you, you will not have to make the save vs. poison again until the beginning of your turn NEXT round.

Kev will drop his rage at the beginning of his turn then (only two turns spent raging) and, chest heaving, he will fall back to help the others. He moves to AH 12 (70 feet of movement, so he can make it but not attack). He has -2 penalties to Strength and Dexterity for the next 4 rounds, so his AC is now 15.

Male Halfling Alchemist : 4

Digging through his pouches like a mad-halfling, Wart mixes a few reagents into a vial, and flings it at the imp. The fire blossoms like a rose, reaching up from the ground and avoiding Wart. The halfling ducks under a gout of flame as he pulls a larger vial from his pouches.

Actions & Rolls:
  • Standard action: Mix & throw bomb
  • Move action: Draw out Dex enhancing mutagen
  • Touch attack roll to hit the imp with a precise bomb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
  • Damage if successful: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

EDIT: Annnnddd.....MAP

Grand Lodge

Morghrim hustles toward the battle, casting a spell along the way. In a moment of desparation, Wart quickly smashes a bomb at the small devil. All wart hears in response is a high pitched cackling laughter as the imp shrugs off the fire.

Tieflings scramble all over the area, two taking unsuccessful swings at Bron, and one narrowly missing Valeron.

Kevorin moves to engage another tiefling.

Valeron is up, followed by the imp, Addie, and Bron

Male Human Cleric 5 / Inheritor's Crusader 1

Glancing back to ensure Addie and Wart are safe, Valeron frowns when he sees a fiendish winged creature floating next to the halfling. Turning back ahead of him, he readies himself as a tiefling comes about the corner and swings his longsword.

Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Grand Lodge

Valeron lands a solid strike on the tiefling, but it is not enought to finish the vile creature.

The imp disappears and all you hear is the sound of flapping wings.

Perception DC34:
The sound is heading south.

Addie and Bron are up.

Addie worries for a moment when the imp disappears, but not seeing any other harmful effect she turns her attention to the tieflings that seem to be appearing from multiple locations like a swarm of ants.

Fearing that her companions will be quickly overrun in the confined passages, Addie draws out a scroll and begins casting a spell to summon some assistance.

Using scroll of Summon Monster I to summon a celestial riding dog (stats are in my profile); 1 round casting time, so dog will appear at start of Addie's next turn; duration 2 rounds.

Bron tries to shake the dizziness from his head and takes a swing at the tiefling who had previously wounded him, but to no avail.
