Round 4
SA:spellstrike on Wight
Spellstrike Chill touch: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 191d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
DC 14 will save or flee for 1d4+4 rds Hit for 8 damage
Corbius, frustrated that he cannot finish the wight off, again drives his sword past the creatures defenses and feels his sword bite into the desiccated flesh.Trag help Nim! I can finish this one!
Enhanced Rapier till round 11
Chilltouch 0/4
Arcane Pool 2/4

Niɱ |

I have to post now, going away for the weekend. (And I assume the wight is likely dead or fleeing. Regardless it likely won't affact Nim's actions)
Round 4 init 10
Wic continues to cautiously harass the graveknight (5' step to I 85, fight defensively) snapping at it...
SA attack w/ bite -FD: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 5 - 4 = 14
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
free trip: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (13) - 4 = 9
...but doing nothing more than that.
Nim follows closely behind Wic. (5' step to I 84)
Current status and effects:
Wicewakan: AC 20 HP 32 of 32
Nim: AC 15* HP 34 of 41
* I think HL is calculating Nim's AC incorrect. I get 10 +1 (dex) +1 (insight from ioun stone) +1 (deflection from ring of prot) +2 (natural armor from beast shape) = 15. Am I missing something?

Tragershen |

Tragershen advances, and casts his minor spell again, this time targeting Jitrube.
Move to J82 and cast Disrupt Undead.
To hit 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Damage 1d6 + 0 ⇒ (4) + 0 = 4

Niɱ |

Nim's round 4 action posted above. I will add a SA of a readied attack should the graveknight approach within reach of Nim.
attack: 1d20 ⇒ 14
bit o luck: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Sorry... on my phone and busy atm. Will add to hit and damage if the action is trggered.

DM Stephen |

Tragershen advances, and casts his minor spell again, this time targeting Jitrube.
Move to J82 and cast Disrupt Undead.
To hit 1d20+7
Damage 1d6+0
I had to move you to J83 in order to attack. Mihai had to move into J82 in order to cast BS on Nim this round.
Tragershen, you need to overcome spell resistance with Disrupt undead please. Damage is pending your roll.
The party moves up and delivers some attacks. The last Saltwight is sent to Pharasma, but their undead commander is left unhurt so far...
You will all suffer before your corpses become my warriors!
He strikes out at Wic, trying to put an end to the wolf nipping at his heels.
Falchion atk on Wic 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 damage 2d4 + 18 ⇒ (2, 3) + 18 = 23 Hit!
Falchion atk on Wic 2nd1d20 + 13 - 5 ⇒ (9) + 13 - 5 = 17 damage 2d4 + 18 ⇒ (1, 1) + 18 = 20 Miss!
Falchion atk on Wic confirm 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22 damage 2d4 + 18 ⇒ (2, 2) + 18 = 22 Hit!
Wic goes down quickly from a very powerful overhand chop that catches him between the shoulder blades, almost severing his head and Jitrube' steps back another 5 feet.
Order of Combat Round 5:
Jitrube' 25 gone
Anton 23 gone
Corbrius 23
Aedalis 18a
Mihai 18b
Nim 10
Wic 10
Tragershen 9
Anton goes for more accuracy and fires another arrow at the undead champion.
Darkwood composite longbow (+1 str) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Anton delivers a modest arrow that finally penetrates the armor of your foe, sticking out of his shoulder.
Party is up. WIc is at -11.

Aedalis Omathi |

Aedalis conjured his summon into a flanking position, although the small air elemental looked rather paltry compared to the foe. Nevertheless, it formed itself into a whirlwind just above the ground, a ten feet high maelstrom of currents and air. The whirlwind moved to engage the armoured foe, just as Aedalis hexed its ability to resist the winds...
Evil Eye (Saving Throws) which he will extend combined with the air elemental's whirlwind ability. So a DC12 reflex save at -2 or take 1d4+1 damage. If that is failed, a second save at the same DC or be hoisted into the whirlwind for a single round.

Niɱ |

Nim will be delaying until after Tragershen.
Agreed that SR does not apply here, but Aedalis' caster check should be 1d20+4 no?

DM Stephen |

It pretty vague IMO, the whirlwind is the air elemental so it seems to be splitting words that is doesn't have to overcome SR but I am not going to bother arguing it now.
I may see if anything around this has been discussed on the boards for later reference.
Damage Save 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 - 2 = 8 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Whirlwind 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 4 - 2 = 17
The small elemental envelopes the dead warrior and buffets him around. His sheer weight seems to be too much for it though and it is not able to lift him from the ground.

Corbius Jank |

Sorry for the delay been sick, which of course put e behind with work as well.
Corbius sees Wic Fall just as he turns from the saltwight. With a feral snarl he rushes towards the creature that dropped him.
MA:Hard to tell movement on the map I will move to G86 or as close as I can get to the undead warrior.

Corbius Jank |

Actually Corbius will move to i83 instead. (edited)

Tragershen |

Hoping to buy his allies some time, Tragershen calls on a powerful creation spell.
Create Pit, targeting squares F86, F87, G86 and G87. I believe that should get the undead, but not any of the good guys, including the fallen Wic.
Reflex DC 16 save or fall in. 20' pit, no SR. If he saves, he jumps to an adjacent square.

DM Stephen |

Willpower Save vs Evil Eye1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 he resists the continued affect, but is still affected until Aedalis' next turn.
The undead commander sees the pit forming and attempts to jump away from it...
Reflex Save 1d20 + 4 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 - 2 = 3
But the attempt is not well timed...caught too quickly by the pit he plunges backward into the space along with some of the water near the shore.
Falling damage 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
Order of Combat Round 6:
Jitrube' 25 Can't tell
Anton 23 delaying
Corbrius 23
Aedalis 18a
Mihai 18b
Nim 10
Wic 10
Tragershen 9
Anton trains his bow towards the pit but waits to see what the rest of you are going to do. Party is up. Will try to get an updated map up later but you can't see him at the moment and he can't see you.

Tragershen |

"That pit won't last long; then it will be back with us. Who needs their weapon enchanted to help face him?"
I have two magic weapon spells prepared.

Corbius Jank |

Round 6
Corbius turns to Nimosaur ad casts Blur upon him. (4 minutes]

Tragershen |

Is Corbius's blade already considered magic? If not, Tragershen will cast magic weapon on it. He'll cast magic weapon on Anton's bow. If Corbius does not need the magic weapon spell, Tragershen will cast it on his own bow. Lastly, he'll cast mirror image on Nim.

Aedalis Omathi |

Aedalis will continue to focus on the evil eye hex he placed upon the foe (-2 saving throws) while doing the following- infuse his Spectral Hand with another Chill Touch spell and create/extend Fortune hexes on Nim and Corbrius.

Corbius Jank |

Corbius also casts cats grace on Nim.

Niɱ |

Nimosaur almost hums with arcane power as he is buffed with multiple spells. All the while he stands stock still, staring intently at the pit....
Current status and effects:
Wicewakan: AC 10 HP -4 of 32 (unconscious, stable & prone)
Nim: AC 17 HP 49 of 41
wildshape
bull's strength
protection from evil
aid temp HP: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
fortune
blur
cat's grace
I don't think mirror image is a legal spell to cast on Nim, being a personal range spell. :P

Niɱ |

Well so you did. Not sure how I missed that. Thanks! :)
Updated

DM Stephen |

Aedalis will continue to focus on the evil eye hex he placed upon the foe (-2 saving throws) while doing the following- infuse his Spectral Hand with another Chill Touch spell and create/extend Fortune hexes on Nim and Corbrius.
Can you extend a hex when someone is out of range? Remember he is 20ft down and you are more than 10ft back.

DM Stephen |

Aedalis hex expires on the commander, but he is able to place the Fortune hex on Nim and Corb.
Order of Combat Round 9:
Jitrube' 25 gone
Anton 23 gone
Corbrius 23
Aedalis 18a
Mihai 18b
Nim 10
Wic 10
Tragershen 9
The pit expires bringing the undead foe back to the surface...Two can play at your little game. Time is on my side you see.
He moves through the water over to the island...and seems to be absorbing the blue light from the sphere...he begins to glow blue
Cause LW 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Sphere 1d6 ⇒ 6
Party is up.
Anton releases an arrow at him.
Darkwood composite longbow (+1 str) 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
But it flies wide.

Corbius Jank |

Corbius casts shocking grasp and moves across the bridge. MA to e85? As far as he can go.

Niɱ |

Bump? Is everyone waiting on Nim to move up? :)
Nim is technically last in init now after previously delaying, but if everyone is waiting (delaying) themselves, then Nim will move across the bridge to 10' from the graveknight. (double move to A 87)

Aedalis Omathi |

Aedalis maintained his hexes while his summoned elemental expired waiting for the pit spell to end. With a disdainful look at Tragershen, Aedalis part-summoned another.
Move action, extend, standard summon. Using a standard next round to finish summon.

Tragershen |

Tragershen follows along the wall, sniping at the undead while the others move in on it.
Move to G87, cast disrupt undead.
To hit 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Damage 1d6 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3
SR check 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

DM Stephen |

Order of Combat Round 9:
Jitrube' 25 gone
Anton 23 gone
Corbrius 23
Aedalis 18a
Mihai 18b
Nim 10
Wic 10
Tragershen 9
After a lull in the combat, the party moves up while Aedalis and Tragershen either start or release spells.
Your feeble attempts are nothing compared to my power and the power of the Necropolis Stone.
You have heard of a Necropolis Stone. Spawned through dark rituals a Necropolis stone emits negative energy and bolsters Undead that are near. It is often considered a religious item or focus for intelligent undead.
Jitrube moves closer to the glowing blue Orb and turns to you with his sword ready. -A/91.
Anton fires another arrow at him and moves closer B/84.
Darkwood composite longbow (+1 str) deadly aim 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11 damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Miss

Corbius Jank |

Corbius moves to a86 and continues to watch the creature. He will strike out at any enemy who approaches him.

DM Stephen |

Niɱ |

That's funny... that is exactly what I have been thinking about this mighty, menacing and boastful undead. :P
Honestly, Nim sees no compelling reason to move in and attack this thing. Or even fight it at all for that matter. They could just bypass it. The mission is to get to Kalabuto quickly, not to clear haunted mines.
But in the interest of getting this over with... Nim will charge into the obvious trap of the blue orb's influence, and the readied attack of the graveknight, to get off one attack, and then eat a full attack from the graveknight before Nim gets to act again. :P
Round 10, init ??
