No response, that isn't good...
Anton decides to make a quick retreat frm the creature to allow the main melee types a chance to attack the monster, he flips back from the large blob like creature to AC,34.
Acrobatics 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

Realizing he will get it attention by attacking he waits until Nim and Wic are in his way before attacking.

Round 1
MA:5' step to AE13 (vacated by Anton)
[ooc]If Aedalis moves then Corbius will step forward into his space instead.
SA:Cast Shocking Grasp deliver with spell strike.
Spellstrike: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 141d6 + 3 + 4d6 ⇒ (6) + 3 + (2, 2, 5, 2) = 20
Corbius intones words of power as the smell of ozone suddenly fills the air he attempts to step forward and drive his blade into the creature.
DM Stephen |
A wooden or metal weapon that strikes a gray ooze takes 1d6 acid damage unless the weapon’s wielder succeeds on a DC 20 Reflex save.
Corb please make this save.
It's like hitting a wall...you almost can't miss! Corb's strike easily slices into the ooze...this time it sizzles and wobbles from his strike. You believe that might have done something.
DM Stephen |
Aedalis tries to not get the creatures attention but does attempt to foil the oozes attacks for the moment.
Hex -2 to attacks.
Willpower Save 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (5) - 3 = 2
The ooze has no chance to resist the altering of its reality and its movements seem even more awkward, if that is possible.
The ooze swings at Tragershen as he moves away.
slam atk w/cover 1d20 + 9 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 9 - 2 - 4 = 12 dam 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 miss
It just misses Tragershen and he escapes the area with his bow out.
It then attacks the nearest creature. 1=corb 2=Aedalis 1d2 ⇒ 1
Which happens to be Corbrius
slam atk 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 9 - 2 = 11 dam 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 miss
He easily dodges the blow.
Nim and Wic are up.

With every hit the Oozes mass seems to dissipate somewhat but it still retains much of its mass and appears to be threatening you still.

Just before Corbrius makes his next defensive strike three creatures surface out of the milky water, their pale white skin a perfect camouflage. If not for their glowing red eyes you would almost think them made of the stuff.
Waterssss, we needsss your watersssss! they hiss at you as two try to touch Tragershen and one tries to touch Nim.

Tragershen screams in pain as the touch begins to wither his arm!
Make a DC 14 Fort save or take 1d3 ⇒ 2 con damage.
These appear to be a variant of a normal Wight called a Salt Wight. Their touch drains the water right out of you sucking out your vital life force.
They are no more powerful though than a normal with otherwise.
Mihai can come off delay and the rest of the party goes until the Ooze.

Round 3:
At the arrival of the walking dead, Mihai sets his jaw and approaches. Hand goes to where his harrow deck lies beneath his garments and he speaks in clear voice "Walker, see those that pervert the path put down." A pulse of intangible warmth floods out, passing harmlessly over those who stand with him, but acting as acidic fire to those that walk when they should not...

Point taken...I was thinking of an ooze as a cube with reach but they don't have it so no AOO.

Its hard to tell how badly they are affected by Mihai's channel but they all seem to feel a sting or hurt from it.
When you plunge your spear into the prone Saltwight it stops moving.

Untrained Kno (Religion) (Max DC10): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Lol. I'm glad Tragershen at least managed to tell us something.
Aedalis sent his Spectral Hand forward, infusing it with necromantic energy as it glowed a pale blue in response to his magic. It reached out to touch the undead furthest from the warlock in an effort to buy Tragershen some reprieve.
Melee Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 - 1 + 2 = 19
The incorporeal hand reached out and brushed the face of the Salt Wight; negative energy shuddering through its corpse and manipulating the energy that animated it in the first place; to something resembling fear...

Round Update:
Wic releases the still undead and snarls and bites another Wight, grabbing it's arm and dragging yet anther Wight down!
Mihai call upon his god empowering Nim with it's luck. Corbrius sticks the Ooze again, but only catches the edge of it, still unsure what exactly he is doing to it.
Aedalis uses magic to try and get one of the Wights to flee but it is anchored to this place too strongly. Tragershen then uses a minor magic to damage a Wight.
The Ooze attempts to strike Corbrius again:
slam atk 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 - 2 = 14 dam 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 Miss but luck is not with the Ooze today and Corbrius quickly sidesteps the clumsy attack.
Nim is up then Wic to start round 5...will post a new map tonight and the new round.
