You're not a passenger, man. Campaigns are long and we're all going to have moments when the dice, circumstances, and/or our skill-sets leave us struggling. Wait until we run into a swarm or a caster that favors spells that target Will... Reiko will be somewhere between 'Useless' and a 'Hazard-to-the-team'. :)

I do want you to have more opportunities to blow sh!t up... so if my headstrong / mix-it-up-with-baddies way of playing Reiko so far has made it difficult for you to toss bombs into the enemy ranks, I apologize. Let's try to figure out a way for you to lob bombs and hammer the enemy en masse before I jump in and start cutting them on an individual basis. It could be as simple as me delaying until you've had a chance to act first. Or we could just agree that I run the risk of taking splash damage from your shots - which is fine with me. And since I get Evasion when I get my 2nd monk level, and my Reflex Save is decent, that gives me a pretty good shot at avoiding the splash on your bombs altogether. Win-win!

and, as I've said before, taking hits isn't useless- it saves us from taking those hits! Besides, you'll really start to come into your own now that you have a discovery... precise bombs and infusions will both be game changers for you (and with the extra discovery feat you could potentially have both of them by 3rd).

No worries gang - still finding my feat with Jerukh. I actually like how he's slightly indecisive in combat and hesitant (a healer not a fighter - and scared to let the inner orc out to boot... :)

Eventually Mr Horde will appear over Dr Jerukh, but until such time comes I'll play him on the meeker side (which is a weird one in itself for a half orc).

No problem with running in - we have a Bride-like katana-killa in our ranks - would hate to see her reigned in with stupid tactics and such lol.

I'm in a Shackled City game where my Dwarven Spellslinger frequently has the crunch-bunch mess up his firing line. Have learned to be very creative and it all adds to the flavour.

Anyway - back to my boy here. I'll level up on the morrow.

Aye - kinda want to make Jerukh a bit of an every(half)man jack of all trades. Disable Device slots nicely into that mould.

Healing Bombs are very enticing and flavoursome for him also.

On a separate note Soli will have seen this in another game we share, but I've indulged my inner mini-maker and used Hero Forge to create the party in 28mm...

(apologies ahead of time if they don't quite cut your mind's eye image of your PC - just my interpretation of them - have tried to be as faithful to character sheets and posts as possible but a little artistic licence may have crept in ;)

Heck, we're already farther than the first JR game I was in got to before the GM pulled the plug and we're rapidly catching up to where my second JR game is (though there's been quite a few differences so I'm wondering how much is the AP and how much is the GM changing things around) :)

Sorry for the erratic posting guys, there's been a lot of different things going on this week to distract me. I've been sick with the flu (thankfully just about over that) and my grandmother passed away on Sunday (funeral was earlier this afternoon). On top of that, I've been going through my PbP games and making the decision to axe some of them; it took awhile but I've slowly bitten off more than I can chew so I've dropped 5/6 so far. The jury is still out on whether or not I'll drop a few more but I currently don't have any plans to drop this one at least :)
