Sark holds up his hand and whispers to person behind him "Come in on my signal rats ahead." He sneaks into the room, then takes out a alchemy fire and throws at nearest one trying to splash other one next to it.

When you hear a loud smash and rats screaming in pain you guess that is the signal to enter.

Sark's alchemist fire bursts over the rat and splashes the one beside it. Both screech wildly from the sudden attack and the first runs about in flaming circles before collapsing. The smell of burnt rat fills the air.

Sark moves out and into his snake style to meet the rats now they are wounded and fearful of the fire he threw. He kicks one to finish it off or attacks an unwounded one if Grim kills the wounded one.

Rhoswen does her best to catch up with Sark and Grim. "Oh... rats! You weren't kidding, were you?" She draws her sword as she approaches the last rat standing.

However, before Sark can call "goal" an angry screech fills the air behind him and a strange looking goblin with crystal vials protruding from the top of his head appears out of thin air in mid swing with a battleaxe.
"You kill Snarltongue's rats! Snarltongue now kill you!"

Sark whirls around at the new attack, caught off guard by the surprise attack almost cutting him in half, blood spills onto the floor and does not seem to be stopping, suddenly a masterwork dagger(Swift spring loaded dagger) appears in his hand and withdraws from combat saying "Hmm hate to bother you all again but i may have stepped into a very large axe, some help would be great....".
as you can see Sark gets hurt ALOT, almost like the DM is after him :P I think i went down 3 times in the first mission with Rah, looks like this one wont be any different heh but at least its me not the rest of you :P. At 3 HPs

i dont understood why when designing the 4 base PCs they give the guy that was always in front looking for traps one of the lowest HPs, almost like they wanted the rogues to all die trying to find the traps.... plus am sure if i was at the back something would try to kill from behind :P

Rhoswen loses no time in coming to Sark's aid. "Thanks for taking care of the vermin. Now to deal with the pest!"
She steps around the rat carcass to bring a powerful swing of her elven curved blade down on Snarltongue.

Ali frowns as the rat is kicked across the room. As he sees Stark backing up to him, he casts a spell and gives Sark a high-five.

Swarmholio moves into the room, angling for a clear line of sight for a spell.

Sark still feeling a bit hurt drinks his potion.

Sark drinks a healing potion, then is healed further by Ali.
The goblin ducks under Rhoswen's blade and dodges Rufus' arrow, but takes another wound from Grimdoc.
With a gleeful cackle, Swarmholio screams "Fire! FIRE!" and casts a spell that sends 3 burning missiles into the goblin's face.

The goblin screams in anger and remains in the fight despite multiple wounds. Raising its axe, it swings at Grimdoc.

Sark fully healed now makes his way back into the fray to repay the goblin the opening attack. Jumping onto the table he moves along it so he can flank and kicks the goblin straight in the face maybe breaking his nose.

Ali drops his curing wand and reaches down to pick up his missile wand again. "Nice work, Swarmholio! I see you've learned a few tricks from the Amazing Ali!"

The mutant goblin falls to sword, magic, axe, and kick. Two of the vials in its head grow still, but one continues to bubble. After a moment it become apparent that the creature's wounds are healing at an accelerated rate, but a couple kicks or a blade end the threat.
If you really want to you can keep him alive, but he'll need a stab or kick every so often to keep him unconscious.
Combat Over.
A quick search of the creature and the room discovers the following:
The goblin possessed a magical handaxe, small hide armor, and 3 flasks of alchemist fire.
Behind the table on the dais is a bucket filled with rotten viscera.

Rhoswen leans over and spits on the downed goblin. "Can't say I'm not glad to see this one sent back to the mud." She sheathes her curved blade and walks over to Sark. "Hey, are you alright? Good job on those rats."
Rhoswen picks up the flasks of alchemist's fire. "Oooh! Firebombs! Anyone else want to carry one of these?"
She looks down in the bucket. "Hey Ali! Any chance you could use your magic to sift through this bucket of guts? Leave no intestine unturned."

Opening the western door you find a short hall that leads back to the corridor containing the two statue traps. Bisecting the hallway is a rough passage, that ends in collapse to the north and seems to open up and connect to another passage leading south from the large chamber into a crumbling cavern. These rough passages all look like they were made by some sort of drilling device that tore through the surrounding stone. A large pool of stagnant water fills part of the southern cavern, fed by a rivulet that runs from the ceiling. Thick sheets of webbing hang from the roof of the cave.

Sark goes north a bit to search for anything of interest, then comes back and looks into the pool to see if he can spot anything at bottom.

"Ah be careful miss elf. You know what they say...where thar be webs...thar be a need for a better housekeeper! HAHAARRRR" the portly dwarf laughs at his own joke, then realizes others may not have got it.

Rhoswen steps into the chamber with the webs and takes a careful look around, smirking at Grimdoc's joke. "I hope you don't expect me to do any of the housekeeping, Grim."

Unfortunately, it's hard to find humor in a swarm of spiders, which is what Rhoswen and Gimdoc discover, crawling down from above along with a giant black spider.
