I've bought two Circlets of Speaking in the same session of Rise of the Runelords on my Bardbarian; a mere 5400 on a Summoner is nothing (given she only needs a headband and a belt.)

Spending 5400 on (Raise Dead + Owl.) Note to self: use Speak with Animals SLA on him/her later.

    I applaud your dedication.

Pai's here! She added a Bead of Force for 3k and a Lesser Metamagic Rod of Extend for 3 k between scenarios.

    Purchases:

I've already written this out on her previous chronicle sheet. Also, all purchases throughout the life of the character are indicated on the character sheet under 'Resources Tracked'

Headband of Alluring Charisma +2 4000gp
Wand of Lesser Restoration (50 Charges) 4500gp
    Potion of Fly 750gp
    Pair of Platinum rings 50gp
    Scroll: Delay Poison 150gp
    10 bolts 1gp

    @Laszlo, here are some suggestions:

Adamantine weapon blanch (You don't need it until you do)
Ring of Protection (Deflection bonus to AC is awesome)
    Blunt arrows (Bludgeoning DR)
Eyes of the Eagle (Even better at trapfinding)
Upgrade armor to +2 (Get the ring of protection first)
Bracers of the Falcon's Aim (Banned from PFS :( )
Upgrade Bow to +2 (Uses most of your gold though)

    Male Varisian Human Rogue/2 Urban Ranger/4 HP: 30/30* |AC 22 T 16 FF 18| Fort +8/Ref +13/Will +3| Init +5| Perc +10| SM +10

Taking Maddie's advice, László's going to buy a few things:
    Ring of protection +1 (2000)
    20 cold iron arrows (2)
    Adamantine weapon blanch (100)
    Ghost salt (200)
    Potion of fly (750)
    Oil of daylight (750)
    Antiplague x1 (50)
    Antitoxin x1 (50)
Potion of resist energy (fire) (50)
Potion of resist energy (cold) (50)

    Total expenditure: 4002 gp

He'll blanch 10 cold iron arrows with adamantine and 10 with ghost salt.

Resist energy potions are 300gp each I believe.

As a ranger, I'd suggest getting a wand of gravity bow with prestige points, then preparing resist energy as a 1st level spell, and maybe even getting a pearl of power for 1st level spells so you can cast it more than once if needed.

    Male Varisian Human Rogue/2 Urban Ranger/4 HP: 30/30* |AC 22 T 16 FF 18| Fort +8/Ref +13/Will +3| Init +5| Perc +10| SM +10

Resist energy is a 1st level ranger spell, as you point out, so from the table in the PRD it's 50 gp. I like your idea better, though; that changes the expenditure to 4902 gp & 2 Prestige.

Regarding potion costs - From the Latest Organized Play Guide:

All potions, scrolls, wands, and other consumables are made by clerics, druids, or wizards in Pathfinder Society Organized Play. The only exceptions are spells that are not on the cleric, druid, or wizard spell list.

Because of course there are paladins and rangers out there who willingly choose item creation feats over any number of other things, just to save some money on a wand.

See, this character was built on the personal challenge of "Take a Horrible Archetype and Make It Not Horrible." If we didn't have the damage we do already, she'd just be total dead weight. As it stands, she's just a psuedo-rogue, with Snave's Gross (and unneeded, here) perception and Mites to eat traps. I think I've done pretty good so far.

Quot bug only comes from when I edit, in case that isn't obvious. Reads quotation and has an escape issue on edits. The buttons do make sense, though I've yet to use them yet. Still used to just scrolling hard core. Editing also loses <br>s.

It's not legal yet, but I think I read it will NOT have campaign mode; just module mode (like Thornkeep.) I doubt they'll have them out any time soon, bit I'll run something in it (largely depending on if we'd start from the top or lower. Seems like something that should go top down, just from the blog post descriptions.)

You're in all the recruitment threads, ja? Just make sure they're properly dotted; that's how I get a majority of my game slots (since there's little to no western Pa PFS activity.

I think Emerald Spire is a little over twice the size of Thornkeep. It has 14 levels, each around the size of a flipmap, and is designed to take characters from 1-13. Like Turg said, I think it will probably run in module mode (again, just like Thornkeep).

If this group continued on into it I'd jump them ahead to an appropriate level.
