Is it possible to move into one of the open spaces toward the south? I think the rules allow you to move through an ally's space as long as you don't end your movement there.

Ezro, being a protector, waits to see if any of the mongrel men will come thru the door. Aladir moves into the room past the two mongrel men, who swing at him with their clubs, but they were so focused on Quinn that they both miss. Hyram swings at the mongrel man next to him but misses, and Alikia moves up to try and get a clearer shot at a mongrel man.

The two mongrelmen swing at Quinn with their clubs but miss, while the woman takes a step back and looses another arrow, this time at Quinn but also missing the non-human target..

The ant continues to bite on the mongrel man in front of it and kills it.

While Ezro heals up Hyram, Quinn stares at each of the two closed doors, one in the north wall, and the southern one in the east wall, but does not detect the presence of evil in either direction. The room (KLM-19-21) contains a rack of hooks that hang from the ceiling, cured slabs of meat dangling from them and filling the room with a smoky aroma. A group of barrels appears to hold other preserved foodstuffs.

Searching the downed mongrelmen yields nothing useful, but searching the woman you find two potions of cure light wounds, a wand, a masterwork chain shirt, a masterwork longbow with 20 arrows, an obsidian unholy symbol of Baphomet that looks like the one you found earlier, and 34 gp.

Which of the remaining two doors are you going thru?

Quinn nods as Aladir collects the bow. "It looks well made. And well sized for an elf." he jokes as he passes the extra arrows to Aladir. "What do you make of this, Alikia?" he asks passing her the wand.

"Lann," the tiefling calls back to the mongrelman, as he glances through the open doorway. "Can you take charge of this room? These foodstuffs could be absolutely vital when we retake the surface. There's no telling what's left up there. Besides, my sergeants always said, 'The army marches on its stomach.'"

Quinn rolls the mongrelwoman out of the way, kicking aside the unholy symbol with a curse. "She was either guarding this path, or planning to flee along it. This is our course."

Quinn waits until all are prepared, then tries the door. J-17. Unless Aladir wants to check for traps first, of course!

Quinn grunts out something like a choked cough as the wave of unholy energy washes over him. Nevertheless, he does not let the pain slow him in his stride, quick stepping towards the mis-shapen clerics. Put Quinn at I-16.

Quinn's strike comes hard and fast at the first mongrelwoman.

@DM: Good time to learn how you play movement through doors! If Quinn can 5fs to I-16, he certainly would. But, I know plenty of DM's that play doorways as movement restrictive. Even if he has to take the AoO's, he will still go to I-16 via I-17.

Aladir wincing from the negative energy, shoots the cultist that he can see clearly and hits her. Alikia also hit by negative energy, however misses with her crossbow shot, while Ezro takes damage, he channels Iomedea grace to heal his friends. Quinn steps in to the room then immediately to his left, and the cultist on the right does not have time to switch grips on the haft of her glaive, so misses the chance to get a free hit on the paladin. However, even though hurting from the negative energy, Quinn kills outright the cultist he is in front of. Hyram moves into the room and hurting from the energy damage, does not hit the remaining cultist.

The remaining cultist takes a five foot step, and keeping her normal grip on the glaive, wounds the paladin severely, while saying "Die Paladin. Hosilla will destroy you!"

(Anevia:) "They are doing well, no need for another spell now friend." she says to the elf and Aravashnial and Horgus nod their heads in agreement.

Taking a step in front of Aravashnial, Alikia weighs the pros and cons of casting a spell. However her attack yet again goes wide. "Ezro, did she just refer to herself in the third person?"

Aladir steps into the room to Hyram right and lets fly with an arrow, wounding the cultist. Alikia steps to her right and using her wizardly power, attempts to damage the cultist using an acid dart but misses, while she wonders aloud to Ezro about what the cultist said. Ezro not sure of what it meant, steps up and channels Iomedea healing energy which heals everyone completely, excepting Quinn who is still hurt. Quinn swiftly cures himself of some of the wounds, then steps up and misses the cultist, and Hyram also steps up but his blade swings wide.

"You Paladin fool. My Lord Baphomet gives my mistress Hosilla the power to defeat you all." and she steps into the alcove with the ladder heading up and swings her glaive at the paladin and scores a hit.

(Aravashnial:) "Status of the fight?" queries the elf, and before Anevia can answer, (Horgus:) "They have the last one cornered. Should be over soon, my friend" says the man.
