René grimaces as the tiny, winged creature starts to cast what is probably yet another summoning spell. He fingers the sling stuck in his belt, considering if he wanted to try to interrupt her. But on the other hand, others had hit her multiple times with seemingly little effect. And they were actually martially focused, unlike him. No, most likely I'll just end up missing and hitting an ally on the head.
He cautiously circles around to the base of the staircase and begins looking around for a creature to pop up.

Erylium;rta: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 vs AC 14 Tylur
Logar continues to smash the altar font, while Rene moves to the stairs and waits for the quasit spell to finish. Nimreass shoots a bolt, trying to damage a wing and force the creature down, but the bolt goes high and wide. Tylur swings at the lemure but misses. Cordwin continues to smash the altar font, while Aurora tries to damage the lemure again, but misses.
The lemure continues to attack Tylur, but it misses also, and then dissipates. A diseased rat appears next to Cordwin and tries to bite him, but misses. Erylium casts a spell and a ray springs from her hand and touches him, and Tylur feels weaker.

Because this fight isn't going anywhere, I want to try something cinematic. Can I try to jump off the ledge we're on, entangle Erylium with my flail and take her to the floor with me? I know it sounds terribly unrealistic, but it's cool and that's the point of Pathfinder.

@Logar - Yup, I like crazy stunts. I don't think Cordwin was with my home group at the time, but there was a heavily armed Paladin (around 8th level) tried something similar, and while not impossible had to roll very well. Dang guy (Peter) made the rolls, so I let him do it.

DC 16 Dex check so you don't fall on your butt when climbing onto the railing that goes up the stairs and surrounds the altar area.
DC 16 Str check to be able to jump high enough to get close enough to swing the flail.
Touch attack against Erylium (AC 17). (that is 3 rolls in that order, dex, str, attack)
.
And you take Falling Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3, whether you drag her down with you or not.

BTW, this combat is perhaps the most difficult for a low level party that you will run up against. Lots of complaints on the Paizo forums about it.

As the font fails, Erylium screeches and foolishly flies down to attack Cordwin directly with teeth and claws, and bites the bard.

"Here we go, demon-spawn, prepare for some righteous pain!"
Having already seen how Erylium deftly dodged all of Nimreass' attacks, Logar chooses the accuracy of his flail over the possibly higher damage output of both weapons. To compensate, he calls a fraction of divine power to make the flail just a little bit sharper.
Flail: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19, Damage + Ferocious Strike: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Frustrated at the nimbleness of the creature Tylur changes tactics and attempts to wrap his chain about the small body of the creature with the hope that he can grapple it and throw it off balance enough to make for an easier target for the others.
the quasit is able to get an AoO against me
Grapple: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

René gives out a whoop. "You got'im now!"
Cackle and guidance on Nim again
Status:
- Tylur: Lucky 19

Fort Save 2 DC13: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
Cordwin, seeing that Logar is in bad shape casts a cure light wounds on him. Casting defensively if need be.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
He continues to taunt the creature. I destroyed your altar to your phony god!
He hopes that the fighter types can finish her off quickly.

Grand daughter is back with her parents. Nana and I got a good nights sleep (almost 12 hours) so back to PbP.....
Erylium;aoo;bite: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 211d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Erylium;break grapple: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 vs DC 17
Logar swings his flail and connects solidly with Erylium, however as expected, it does not do as much damage as he had hoped. Rene, continues to cackle, extending the hexes, as well as casting guidance on Nimreass, who rushes up to the platform so he can wail on the creature soon. Tylur has had enough and uses his chain to try and grapple her, which succeeds but she takes a bit out of him for his efforts. Cordwin and Aurora both cast a healing spell on the badly wounded Logar who now looks remarkably better.
Erylium tries to break free of the grapple, but is unable to. However some of her wounds heal.
