Suishen hums with joy as Parity unleashes it upon Anamurumon. The oni leader recoils from the ancestral weapon's bite. Parity slashes the weapon across Anamurumon's face, drawing blood and a powerful roar of pain. Parity closes for the kill, driving Suishen straight into the oni's third eye socket and deep into his skull. Anamurumon's roar fades into a stuttering gasp and he collapses to the floor with a mighty thud.

As Anamurumon dies, the magic of his whirlwind fades. Harlan and Ameiko are dumped unceremoniously to the floor.

His ribs and side ache still from the tremendous blow from the fiend's weapon and the Jade Regent is far too close. Heng attempts to use Parity as a shield as he rolls away from the immediate threat and then regains his feet.

Kiyomi fires three arrows as she continues her inspiring song. Her aim is precise all three find their target. Once pierces a soft join in the Regent's heavy armor, drawing blood. As the missiles hit, his armor starts to glow a jade hue, getting brighter with each strike.

Parity hits the Jade Regent once with what should have been a critical strike. Digging into the depths of his resolve, Takahiro manages to turn a shoulder at the last second, deflecting much of the damage. His armor glows slightly brighter.

Greater Resolve: attack is resolved as a normal hit, not critical effects.

Still terribly wounded, Heng retreats towards Harlan.

Harlan fights off the destructive curse although it still marks him painfully. He dispels the silencing aura on Kiyomi before moving up beside her.

The Jade Regent faces off with Parity, launching into a series of attacks.

Heal is V,S and I'm out of Channel, but I do have 45 feet of movement to get out of Silence. DMNS, if I move out of Silence and cast Heal then hold it, can Heng run to me, give me a high five of perfect health, and then go do some monk stuff to the Regent? Alternatively I could Energy Body and do a Whoopie Goldberg to Heng but that's not much healing either.


Yes, Harlin can move and ready a spell to cast. Heng would have to move past him on his turn. Not sure if that would require a double move, but likely monk + haste = a lot of movement!

Heng and Harlan point and gesture for a moment and then finally spring into action. Harlan moves outside of the silenced area and prepares a healing spell. Heng races around and past him -- getting healed on the way by -- and circles to attack the Regent, flanking across from Parity. Heng lands a hard blow, but once again Takahiro expends some resolve to deflect some of the impact.

The Jade Regent ignores Heng for now and keeps focus on his challenged opponent. He strikes Parity with fury, no longer troubled by his illusory defense.

Parity presses the attack on the Jade Regent but cannot seem to make a clean attack. Suishen clips off his heavy armor again and again. Once again, the Jade Regent defends against the critical hit, though the agility-draining spell has some effect.

The Jade Regent, unable to see or hear, backs up towards the Jade Throne while maintaining a total defense. He appears to have trained in blind-fighting.
