"I can try asking again, but she looked very scared"

Then again to Marina.
"I'm sorry Marina, but the dwarf knight may have a point. You know darkspawns so well to be sure they weren't someone else? Or does your father have some enemies? Where can we find him?"

She says I saw two of the little ones, they shot the cow, and started coming closer, out of the woods. I screamed and that's when my father released the hounds. I'm not sure why they killed the cow, but darkspawn will kill everything. At least I think so, isn't that why they are so dangerous? Here look, I brought this to the Chantry as father said people might not believe me.
She shows you an arrow, about 16 inches long. Its shaft is barbed and the head is serrated. It is clearly not of normal human man make but you can't be sure it's darkspawn.
Knowledge nature as to why darkspawn would attack cows. This is knowledge about cows, or knowledge dungeonering about darkspawn weapons and tactics.

Male Qunari Fighter 1

"Cows. Bandits. Darkspawn. What matter? We were hired to eradicate the threat. Let us be about our business."

Sorry you missed the perception check

Male Dwarf Templar lvl 1

Dargail strokes his beard. "Indeed you are right my very blunt friend. However, impatient fools who barrel in head first without knowing tue threat usually end up dead a lot sooner. If we are dealing with tainted darkspawn, I want to be prepared. If it is only thugs then we are dealing with something "possibly" more intelligent and organized than simple darkspawn. Battles often favor the well prepared my friend. Our friend the hero of Ferelden had to have done some sort of extravagant preparation to deliver Denarim from the archdemons clutches don't you think?"

Looking at the arrow

"Dargail is right, after all everyone can pick an arrow found on the ground and use it himself. We are not even sure if this is darkspawn design at all.Maybe we could ask a smith?"

Or an artisan who makes bows/arrows,sorry don't know how such profession is called, english not being my mother lang

There is the before mentioned 2nd hand weapon dealer in the market stalls. That seems your best bet if you want a weapon identified. An arrow maker is called a 'fletcher' in English.

I checked the dictionary after my last post :).Also bumping us

Male Dwarf Templar lvl 1

"I believe I saw saw some form of weapons dealer in the markets. Let us ask for his expert opinion on the weapon." Dargail will look to Maraas and Aldo. "Your welcome to come along if ya wish but I'll have no complainin from either of you." With that Dargail will head to the markets.

Dargail takes the liberty of showing the arrows to the weapons dealer. "Greetings chum. I was wonderin what ye could tell us about these arrows? If ya know what they are that is."

Male Qunari Fighter 1

"Friends and colleagues we may be dwarf, but the Tal Vashoth have no masters. You should ask me nicely next time."

Maraas falls into step with the dwarf placing a big hand on his shoulders in a gesture of friendship.

"Well i tried to be nice to you, but you keep this I'm-thougher-and-meaner-than-you attitude that discouraged me"
*pats Maraas on the back*

"Back to work, shall we?"

Male City Elf Wizard 1st

Aldo again merely rolls hia eyes at the Dwarf. He had been hearing the same talk from templars his whole life. Dargail being a dwarf and wearing a dwarven helmet only made it a bit louder, he thought. Atleast most Templars helmets covered their ugly mugs. Laughing at this, He allows his long legs to propel him to the forefront of the group as they make their way to the fletcher.

Raiders of the lost bump

My computer was 'taken away' by the university without warning, but they gave it back today! I live in China remember?!So sorry, of course they didn't give me any notice.

You arrive at the man buying and selling weapons. He is wearing an eye-patch and has a scar running across the side of his face. He speaks with a slight Antivan Accent.
Oh what can I do for you? Trying to sell some weapons and go back into civilian life?He looks at the Qunari and quickly adds I guess you're looking to buy. Well I might have been over zealous in my purchases I admit. But no harm done I er...
He is clearly ill at ease and hiding something
He looks at your arrow It's clearly darkspawn make, or made by a very very clever smith to look like it. Can't think who'd want a fake darkspawn arrow. Certainly not anyone around here.

Male Qunari Fighter 1

"You are acting strange human. What are you hiding?"

Maraas shifts his weight for left to right.

Kalyn meanwhile looks at the stok displayed by the seller.
Maraas doesn't seem like he needs help convincing the man.

Male Dwarf Templar lvl 1

Dargail gives his famous inquisitive stare. "What are you hiding man?"

Sense Motive:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Well you don't seem to be a dishonest sort...I'll come clean. He removes a long object wrapped in a red cloth. It is a bundle of three swords, each of which are almost 4 feet long. They are Qunari SwordsI didn't ask questions, just paid what seemed a fair price. I've heard some of you Qunari get angry when such swords are traded. You're not here to 'collect' are you? I have a buyer who wishes to remain unknown, so I can't just give them to you.but make me an offer

Male Qunari Fighter 1

"Since Qunari swords are all the same to you human, take mine in trade for one of these."

Maraas chooses the finest specimen for himself if the trade is agreed.

He will agree to the trade, but there is no variation in quality from your sword and the ones he has collected. They are all greatswords, not masterwork, not magic.
He lets out a sigh of relief.
I'm glad this has ended well, some merchants have had some bad experiences with Qunari getting angry when humans sell their swords. Not sure why you people get so upset about them.

Male Dwarf Templar lvl 1

I hear its some kind of bond like the sword is suppose to be apart of them or somethin. All that matters is that it ended well. Now we should set about finding the girls father. Come lets get to the bottom of these cow killins."

Dargail will make his way back to the girl and ask her sweet and simply and in the same stern gruff tone he always has, "I'd like to speak with yer father little missy. Where does he live?" He tries to smile but it comes off more as an evil grin.

She points toward the west Our farm is about half a day out of town. Just follow the trail Marina seems to have warmed up a bit to all of you, scary dwarf included.

Male Dwarf Templar lvl 1

"Onward then!" Dargail announces in a booming voice. "To the farm and let us solve this little dilemma." Dargail makes for the farm but makes sure to wait for the others before heading any further.

Male Qunari Fighter 1

"Yes, friend dwarf, let us see if you can reach a genlock's head!"

Male City Elf Wizard 1st

Aldo musters a laugh and relaxes his pace to drop into the back of the group. His eye goes wide as they travel, the sheltered tower mage taking in the sights of the natural world as best he could. His thoughts were far from the trail or the farm or the darkspawn.

"When we'll be close to our objective, i'ld like to scout around. Just to be sure, i'm quite good to move without being noticed."

Could i get stealth and perception checks from her, if the rest of the party is cool with the idea of letting her scout ahead?

If you want them right now there is no problem with me, but i though we were still at the market

rolls:
Stealth 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Perception 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Male Dwarf Templar lvl 1

Dargail had headed out to the farm already. DM and I presume you are all with me.

At, Kalyn's mention of scouting Dargail Nods. Go ahead. The rest of us will head to the farmstead when you return."

Kalyn:
You hear a group of Darkspawn lying in ambush on the path between the farm and the town. They are in a hiding in some dense underbrush on the east side of the road. You don't venture any closer, as you don't want to be detected. It sounds like there are more than 3 of them, but you don't actually see the group.

Kalyn returns from scouting up ahead, and looks worried...

Kalyn rejoins the party, she looks uneasy and keeps her voice low
"Unbelivable, there is a party of darkspawn hiding under some brushes on the east side of this road, between town and farm.I did not venture any further, not sure how many or what types"

Not sure how far either, but are we assuming Kalyn said that too?

Kalyn Terbeth wrote:

Pretty much exactly halfway.

Aloris:
Aloris you had been venturing towards the town of Ostagar since you left the safety of your Daelish Camp. You have come to a road leading to the town, and I need you to make a perception check to notice the darkspawn ambush.

Male Qunari Fighter 1

"You are skilled at being unseen. Perhaps you will be usefull. Well done elfling."

"Dwarf? 1 gold coin says I kill more than you."

If everyone is ready...

Maraas starts jogging toward the ambush.

Male Dwarf Templar lvl 1

Dargail pulls out his Axe amd Shield and chuckles. "Your on big fella. Gotta warn ye. We dwarves are natural sprinters. Very dangerous over short distances."
With that Dargail sprints to keep up with Maraas.

Perception Check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Kalyn follows quickly Dargail and Maraas.
"I never said i didn't want my share, you know i don't take all this steel around just for showing off"

I misplaced "quickly", saw it too late to correct

aloris:
You hear the twang of several bow strings and drop prone as 3 arrows fly over your head. A group of 6 darksapwn have been lying in ambush along the road. They are Genlocks, standing about 4 feet tall, and 4 of them are armed with shortbows, the two others have a short sword in each hand. They are about 80' away from you.

You hear the snarls of Darkspawn and the sounds of battle coming from the ambush site, which is about 1000' or 300m down the road. It seems someone else has come upon the ambush before you did! You are not in combat time so don't worry, Aloris you are in combat.

" Allow me to help friends."Aldo moves swiftly and directs his focus to the first group. Holding outstretched arms towards the Genlocks, He speaks strongly"Bel Tu Vunim Halam!"" A burst of blinding light explodes from within the ranks of the first group of gemlocks 10 foot radius burst, i think i can fit them all in there.

Kalyn will ready a throwing knife

Please post an action as well as rolling initiative, and I'll resolve your actions in initiative order.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 The 3 Genlocks nearest you (the top of the map) are dazzled by the lights...they snarl and draw their swords...

If your initiative is 12 Kalyn has a sneak attack, rogue can SA during their first round if they win initiative

Kalyn sneak attacks the nearest genlock by throwing a knife (1/3)
attack roll 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
confirm critical 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

on a successful hit
damage 1d4 ⇒ 4
critical damage 1d4 ⇒ 4
SA damage 1d6 ⇒ 3

Not bad as a start *_*

Male Dwarf Templar lvl 1

Dargail moves quickly and is able to keep up with the hulking Qunari though he is unaware of Kalyn's location at the moment. As soon as he sees one of the the little monsters he roars! "Aaar!!" He swings hard sacrificing aim for more power. Hopefully his barreling charge makes up for the loss of accuracy.
Attack(Charge):1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 For:1d10 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 (Power attack used)

Male Qunari Fighter 1

Power Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 for 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 = 12

Crit Confirm 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 for 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 6 = 13

Potential 25 damage at lvl 1!? And those weren't great rolls. NICE!

Marass, rushes up to the nearest Genlock and swings mightily, showing why Qunari are feared for their battle prowess.

The elf, dirty from the ground rises to his knees. "Na lin him alas!" he spits, twisting his fingers into arcane shapes. With a short twist Aloris hurls a crackle of energy at the darkspawn closest to him.

Translation:
Old elvish, common to the Dalish: "Your blood joins the earth!"

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Aloris shoots a storm bolt at the nearest darkspawn.
Ranged touch attack (storm bolt): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Damage on successful hit: 1d6 ⇒ 6 nonlethal damage, target takes -2 to attacks for 1 round

Storm Bolt

The Genlocks, dazed by the flares are an easy target. Kalyn throws a dagger, catching one of them in the eye. It strikes true, penetrates the brain, and the Genlock dies standing up. Maraas strikes with his sword, cutting through the collar bone and down to the groin, turning the other Genlock into bloody chunks. Dargail cuts the hand off the one nearest him, and smashes it in the face with his shield. The Genlock collapses, unconcious and bleeding from his severed hand.

At the other end of the map, one Genlock is struck by the powerful nature magic of the Daelish. He takes off running. The other two Genlocks will fire arrows at Aloris.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
One arrow goes terribly wide, the other arrow lodges in your shield.
Everyone is close enough to notice the person being attacked is a Male Daelish Elf, who casts magic.
Everybody can act ahead of the 2 remaining Genlocks, they are going on a 5!
