The crunch is done, going to finish fluff tonight
Dea Sands, Mounted Cleric of Iomedae and his faithful steed, [url=https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1369362]Horse[/url
Looks good. Just a heads up, a lot of this module takes place in places where horses might be hard to get to. I would say that 80-90% would be very difficult to include a horse. We can hand wave it a bit, but I wanted to give you the info and let you decide.
DM Nex
Hmmmm, then I shall go back to the drawing board. Is it because it's an animal, or because he's large?
A bit of both. This module is not friendly to animal companions. At at least ones that can’t climb down a rope, go down spiral stairs, jump into holes, etc. we can try to make it work, I just don’t want you to feel like you are hampered. There is just very little outdoor activity.
Totally up to you! Just wanted you to know.

Thanks for the heads up,I'll be switching over to a
Cartomancer Hedge Witch. Still working on him, but here are the beginnings of Cerdyne Teller
TheWaskally
See what I mean! Here's Vors Orcblood, half-orc rogue..eh, I mean, Man of Adventure for submission.
Kayri_Khaos
Current Finished Submissions
Beathany Carpenter (GM Red Box) - Unchained Barbarian
’Bullseye’ Brynn (Meloriel) - Magus (eldritch archer)
Errol Muddleston (pinvendor) - Vigilante
Verik Skintail (William Nightmoon) - Wizard
Since then we've gotten the following:
Raikoto Shiori (Kayri_Khaos) - Ranger (trapper)
Cerdyne Teller (Barebates) - Cartomancer Hedge Witch
Vors Orcblood (TheWaskally) - uRogue
Verik Skintail
Ah, seems I have some competition on the Arcane caster front...
No matter, may the best mage win!
Although I most likely will infact be Multiclassing into Cleric at lvl 2 and stagger my classes each level.
Until 7 when I become a Mystic Theurge, essentially capstoneing for the game :P
If we get a healer though I'll just stay wizard(Although a very devoted one at that)

Hmmm, very true, we do seem to be short on divine casters.
Anyone out there want to play a cleric?
DM Nex
I actually misread the hedge witch ability, i thought they could spontaneously cast cures at lvl 1, ill be switching back to a divine
Yeah that is a bit confusing. Just did some digging, it does not kick in till level 4.
A full divine caster can't hurt. Just let me know when you get your final form.
@Kayri - Thanks for doing the list this morning. I slept in a bit and you got to it first :)

New to PbP, not so new to Pathfinder. This sounds like a lot of fun! If the party will need some kind of healing, I'm thinking a Life Oracle with the Deaf curse, just for some fun flavor. Thinking about using some kind journal and pen to communicate if need be. Working on it now, will put it up soon!
DM Nex
@Zanbabe - No worries. You still got till Sunday if you wanted to give it a go. Either way understandable. Good luck with all future rolls :)
@PixlesAreGod - Cool. I am a big proponent of Sign Language in real life. I know ASL, my sister is an interpreter, etc. So if you go the deaf route you should know there is a sign language in Golarian - Sakvroth. It was invented in the darklands, but is used on the surface now. Maybe teaching your fellow characters the language could be a part of the character. Just a random thought.

Alrighty, so here is Skal Zinger, a singing melee/healing oracle of life. Still working on backstory, but will have that tomorrow morning.

this character has linguistics as a skill and he can easily learn sign language

Hmm... No sense in having two life oracles - think I'll be switching to a paladin, for a solid frontliner.
You should make what you like. Btw you should allow Private Messages on the forum. I was going to send you something. Under My Account->Privacy Settings.
Either way excited to see what you come up with.
Hazell
You still got till Sunday if you wanted to give it a go.
Thanks. The light of morning apparently gave me some new inspiration. This is Hazell, my submission. I think that I have everything in there. She's an Aasimar Primal Wyrmwitch (Witch archetype HERE if you don't know it... it is just fun, not overpowered or anything. Gives her a little wealth motivation instead of a cat.) :) She has the Cauldron and Healing hexes, which allows her a little healing and a little potion-making.
Anyway, should be fun to play if she gets in... balancing her greed and goodness, and trying to figure out who she really wants to be, and how to play nice with others. ... She doesn't have any fire magic yet, since her patron gives her Burning Hands at level 2. But that will be fun as well, when she learns fire, and realizes that it is in her blood. She might be fighting some pyro urges at that point too. :)
Let me know if I left anything out or if you see anything weird. Happy to tweak to fit the game.

Tuley was born away from the dwarven lands, his parents exiles from their homeland. Living near a human settlement, young Tuley was introduced to the church of Iomedae, and despite being treated strangely by others, he found that the worshipers of Iomedae were willing to accept a dwarf in their ranks. Taking up the sword, Tuley followed the path of Iomedae to his fullest. When he reached adulthood, he decide to go out and see the world as an adventurer, spreading the good word of Iomedae. It was only a walk to the next town over where Tuley was able to join a small adventuring band, and were hired by a local merchant to take down a gang of bandits.
While Tuley was overjoyed that he had been blessed with the fortune of both friends and a quest, things quickly made a turn for the worst. The bandits ambushed the party, swiftly killing two with a volley of arrows, then wading into melee to quickly dispatch the rest. Tuley, surprised by the attack, could do little as he was knocked unconscious. When he woke later, he found himself lying among the corpses of his allies, with nothing but the clothes on his back. Ashamed, he wandered into the next town over, and slept on the streets.
With little money, he accepted Silas’ offer to work as a caravan guard, unaware of the illegal goods on it. Once they arrived and Silas was arrested, Tuley cursed himself for once again being unable to solve an illegal activity, and noted the luck of Talia letting him and the others stay at the inn. He wishes to have some method of paying this generosity back, and perhaps as an atonement for his previous inactions.
Tuley prefers to keep his appearance at least somewhat proper, as he puts “fitting of a paladin.” His armor is beaten, having been tested by battle before. His eyes are piercing, and tends to keep a near uncomfortable eye contact in conversation.
Tuley keeps a gruff demeanor, keeping an eye out for danger even in areas of safety. While he sees the him of the past as naive, he keeps the same sense of justice, stepping in where he sees evil. Tuley has a twisted idea of “good things happen to good people,” believing that when good things happen to people, they are responsible to do good things afterwards, or face judgement. Thus, he grows worried at good fortune, knowing that he must do something equal in return to the world. While he is willing to make friends, he is usually overcome with worries of their safety.
Due to the previous party he was in meeting a gruesome fate, he believes himself to have fallen. Because ] he cannot use any of his paladin abilities (except smite evil and Aura of Good - but he has yet to find anything he can use smite on, and he is unable to check his own Aura of Good), there is no evidence to the contrary. However, he still remains a paladin, and due to his efforts for “atonement,” still acts as one should.
Edit: Also, got the PM up. Thanks!

Hello all, and hope I am not too late. I am relatively new to PbP, but not to Pathfinder. Looking forward to join a reliable game, as I am now overseas and not able to play IRL.
Please for your consideration is Duskryn "Dusk" Alzahar. A fearsome and horrendous Tiefling Investigator, who is escaping the shame of his infernal bloodline by travelling the world as a caravan guard and occasional merchant.
Background and Stats embedded in alias.
Thank you and good luck, sounds like this will be a fun campaign.
ScegfOd
OK, this is a good secondish draft.
Maybe even good enough as it is :P
Grilnik is an itinerant healer and strong-man. He is usually looking for oppurtunities to travel, and he is always ready to help those in need.
Wanting to see the world, and following in his father's footsteps, Grilnik took up the life of a caravan guard. One day, he found himself in a town where they were having a large competition with an emphasis on the various sporting events. He was amazed by what he saw there, especially the servant of Kurgess that was present. That day was a turning point for Grilnik; that day he found his faith.
Grilnik was lucky enough to travel and study with that worshipper of The Strong Man for a time. It felt like they visited every part of world together, though it had been less than half of only Taldor. Not a week after they had finally parted ways, Grilnik met a fellow that went by the name Silas Gribb...
Appearance:
Grilnik is exactly four feet tall. He has a long brown beard which is braided through three interlinked brass rings. He wears white underneath his armor, white and stained a golden brown at the bottom by the dust of his many travels. He often has his longhammer in hand, using it like a walking stick.
Personality:
Grilnik is both stoic and stern, and when he finds reason to compliment someone, he usually says something good about their beard, or that it's the beard on the inside that counts.
I'll just go ahead and roll for his age, height, and weight:
age (in years): 40 + 7d6 ⇒ 40 + (5, 3, 6, 6, 4, 2, 6) = 72
height (in inches): 45 + 2d4 ⇒ 45 + (2, 1) = 48
weight (in pounds): 2d4 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6 x7 +150
...and now to finish his crunch xD
edit: added his appearance to his spoiler and some minor tweaks
ScegfOd
Here is the finished alias: Grilnik Urist, itinerant healer, strong-man strong dwarf, and follower of Kurgess
If chosen, I'll use it to post, otherwise I'll keep it under 10 posts so I don't suffer too much from alias bloat...
Also, what do you think of the cleric (dwarven?) spell Ironbeard?
Thx for your consideration GM Nex!
PixelsAreGod
Also, what do you think of the cleric (dwarven?) spell Ironbeard?
While certainly thematic for dwarves, it isn't fantastic: +1 AC isn't a great benefit (Shields are cheap) and you take a 20% spell failure chance on spells with vocal components. Doesn't work well on casters, and you're better off using something like protection from evil.
ScegfOd
But I can use it right? Then I can have a non-reach weapon to go with my longhammer, right? XD
(TBH I'd probably just do something actually useful, like bless... but maybe for one fight I'd like a cold-iron beard and/or use it to give someone something to "wear on the outside, to match their inner beard")

Sorta.. I Armor spikes do damage if you do a grapple. It's not a traditional weapon.
Though I could be wrong.
Verik Skintail
If you really wanted to you could always take a dip in a martial class if you really need martial proficiency.
Edit: Also, Verik is gonna be one of those wizards who Typically don't use combat spells (Being a researcher not a battle mage) so in game he'll make comments about such :P also I will probably not prioritize stronger enemies until I need to. That way I can show his lack of experience in the field.
However once I start getting the better spells for combat he'll begin strategic planning to incapacitate who he needs to.

Hey everyone! I have made my decisions:
Beathany Carpenter (GM Red Box) - Unchained Barbarian
Verik Skintail (William Nightmoon)
Grilnik Urst (ScegfOd) - Cleric
Vors Orcblood (TheWaskally) - uRogue
’Bullseye’ Brynn (Meloriel) - Magus (eldritch archer)
I made these decisions based on what would fit the module, complexity of character, and a bit of randomness.
Thank you everyone for submitting! If this goes well I will hopefully do more of these down the line.
If you made it, please jump into the discussion when you can
