Alendiri Faladiir |

Alendiri listens as the bandits divulge their information, gesturing the others over to listen if they don't approach on their own. When the bandits finish up with the final piece of info Alendiri smiles. "Well, that should certainly be useful information." he says, glancing at the others. "If you behave this well then we should have no problems at all." he informs them.
"Jimmy, Logan. One of you will be coming with us to act as our porter, and so we can keep an eye on you. The other will be staying here with O'Brian under Oleg's care. If either one of you tries to escape, or do any harm, theft or other unlawful conduct to anyone, then the other will be executed immediately, and we will track you down and execute you also. Same goes for you O'Brian, if you are found to be doing anything unlawful or try to escape then you will be tracked down, and your sentence will be carried out. You will all serve for a minimum of 6 months in order to repay Oleg and Svetlana. If you work hard and behave then you will be released. If you do not then you will continue to serve until Oleg judges your debt repayed. Do you all understand?"

Ranzo vonLebeda |

Ranzo stands next to Alendiri while he speaks. "We will hold to our part of the bargain, make sure you hold to yours. I think the first thing is to bandage your wounds better. O'Brian, your not wounded, you can start the graves for they other two. Oleg, please head with Endurance and O'Brian to show them where you would like it put. Endurance, please guard Mr. O'Brian.
Ranzo will help bandaging the two brothers.
Ranzo takes out his new bow and strings it. "Is everyone agreed we leave before the sun tomorrow morning for the camp? I am going to practice with this bow, Alendiri, care to join me?"

Alendiri Faladiir |

Alendiri nods twice to Ranzo, hefting his new bow and like Ranzo stringing it, giving a few practice draws. It seemed everything was sorted here now, and unless told otherwise he will speak to his companion with a voice that sounds not so different from the creaking of branches and rustling of leaves. Released from it's task the treant heads back out into the morning sun, and settles itself in the ground once more, while Alendiri head outside the gate to put together some practice targets.

Ranzo vonLebeda |

Ranzo heads out to the targets, but Alendiri notices he is also carrying a bucket. He puts it down by the front gate and heads directly to Alendiri, setting down his bow.
I would like to thank your companion, is it ok if I water him and verbally thank him?
After practice:
Does anyone have any suggestions for the attack on the camp? Endurance, I liked the spell you used, can you have that ready again? My idea is to approach the camp from the small opening on the Northeast corner, tree branches cover our approach from the eastern sentry {K2} spot. You use your spell on the hopefully sleeping members, then those with bows move forward and attack the second sentry, Endurance and Alan cover our approach. We move as fast as possible, then west to capture the western sentry. If two axe is up, I will fight her, but help is appreciated. Any other ideas? Am I missing anything?

Alan Taselson, Jr. |

In response to Ranzo: I also am able to summon forth a magical companion, if need be. Perhaps the most useful option would be for me to summon an eagle to attack one of the sentries and attack those who may try to escape, or a coyote to join in the melee. It would also be very beneficial if we were to gain control of one of the towers during the fight, in case we run in to more resistance that we had hoped.

Endrance |

Endrance frowns. "The power of my magic will keep a man down for a mere 30 seconds, I'm afraid to admit. If you hope to subdue these men and not kill them, my spell will not keep them unconscious long enough for us to break through the second wave. And of course, there is always the chance that it will not affect them..."
Listening to Alan and Ranzo discuss tactics, Endrance shakes his head. "I believe our best plan of action is to subdue the first sentry completely. If the second sentry comes and attacks us from the commotion, then so be it, we make our stand there, but if we simply try and weaken the first sentry and then move on, we're going to get ourselves flanked and that will end badly."

Ranzo vonLebeda |

My hopes were that you would put them down, and we can deal with them as needed, I am not going to be picky about subdued bandits. My worry was to put down the group, take out the eastern sentry, deal with those on the ground, then go after the western sentry. Alan's magical beast can be used as a reserve, either to assist us with the group or keep the western sentry busy. I was going to wear Haps cloak to attempt to confuse them also. Quentin you think you can fire your crossbow on the eastern sentry, then travel across to intercept the western sentry?

Alan Taselson, Jr. |

Well, we do know their secret passphrase. We could always just see if they let us march in. One thing is certain, though. This fight is going to be more dangerous than the last one. We cannot afford to waste time trying to take prisoners or show mercy. Those who wish to surrender to us will do so of their own accord.

Narkari |

All of the men nod and look relieved that their injures will be looked at.
The brothers, Jimmy and Logan speak to one another and discuss who should go with the group. While neither look forward to separating from each other they seem to accept they have no choice. O'Brian leaves to his assigned task while Oleg goes to oversee the man. He seems displeased that the bandits were not all killed but accepts that he will at least get free labor out of it.
"After you take care of the bandits. Please come back. Now that we don't have to worry about that group of men we should have much more traffic of trappers and such and they could have information about the area to help you all. " Svetlana points out to Ranzo. She wishes to help them but also would like them to check up on them if their guards did not come to help keep and eye on these new indentured servants.

Alendiri Faladiir |

Alendiri looks rather surprised when Ranzo asks him of his treant companion and takes a few moments to recover before nodding. "As I said before, he is unlikely to understand you, he does not know the tongues of men, but you are welcome to try. I am certain he would appreciate the fresh water even so, just sprinkle it over his trunk and roots." he advises the man.
He watches Ranzo as he tends to the treant, considering as he leans lightly on his new bow. He waits until Ranzo returns and then silently moves with him to the targets he had set up.
The bow seemed adequate to Alendiri, the Elf returning to the others with Ranzo. He would have had one previously, but the shortbow had been sufficient in his previous life. He knew since he had left the relative peace of the Grungir forest however, that he would see much change to come.
"So our plan then is to attack in the early morning, and to do so disguised as the returning bandits?" Alendiri speaks up at last, having watched the discussion silently. "If we are taking one of the brothers with us then someone will need to shadow us on foot, or else we will need to leave him behind here." he observes turning to Svetlana as she makes her presence known
We will almost certainly return here from time to time Svetlana." he agrees, and then suddenly frowns as he looks at her. "Excuse me..." he murmurs, appearing distracted as he removes himself, walking over to where the brothers have been left.
"Jimmy." he calls as he approaches. "Have you and your brother participated in all of the raids against Oleg and Svetlana?"

Quentin Lovelace |

Quentin purses his lips in thought at Ranzo's plans. "Well, I'm a decent enough shot with a bow, but I can't guarantee that it'll take him out with one shot. Given that we know their password and all, it might be easier for me to approach him, maybe try and con some information out of him, and then take him out in close quarters. I've got a few tricks that would help with that more so than with ranged attacks.
Apart from that, sounds like a solid enough plan."

Ranzo vonLebeda |

After you take care of the bandits. Please come back.
"Ma'am, we were planning on it, we were hoping we could kinda use this as a base, its the only place within five days I can get a warm bath. You watch out for us and we will watch out for you.
I am certain he would appreciate the fresh water even so, just sprinkle it over his trunk and roots.
My mother said it was fine to talk to plants, if you had a carnivore I would feed him meat, with you permission of course. Part of the team and all that. Unless anyone has another suggestion, I was going to tie up our captive before we attack the camp. I was wondering if you might request to have Entangle ready for the attack, that a fairly good spell for this attack.
Apart from that, sounds like a solid enough plan.
The problem is we don't know how many there are and Endurance is going to be making plenty of noise with his spell and the three of us with our bows on the eastern sentry. I just need you to assist with the first sentry, when he is down, you hoof it and to slow down the western sentry point, don't get shot and wait for us to finish up. Plan one, none of us get hurt, plan Two we don't let anyone else escape, plan Three have someone alive to question later.

Ranzo vonLebeda |

"One other thing, Ranzo, about the traps that are likely there...given time, the Drunken God can guide my eyes to anything unusual that might be there, like pit traps or the like, so I'm not sure if we might want to scout ahead to avoid any nasty surprises. Might not be a bad idea given that we know the password and I can disguise myself quite easily."
"Quentin the password is for the fort south of here a ways, not the camp. Can you disguise yourself enough to pass for Haps? If you go in first as Haps, then after seeing how far you get, Endurance followed Alendiri and I go to do what needs to be done. It would give you a jump to the western sentry. Perhaps you could talk to the brothers about any traps that are there, they should tell you."

Quentin Lovelace |

Quentin grimaces slightly in embarassment. "Right, right, my mistake. But...yeah, I could. Especially if I have his cloak...I'll go take one last look at his ugly mug before he gets dumped in the ground and double-check with the brothers about the traps."
With that, he makes his way to where O'Brian is burying his former comrades, kneeling down and getting a good long look at Haps' face. Having heard the man's voice, he has an idea of how to imitate it, but asks O'Brian if his former leader has any expressions he uses commonly, mannerisms that are easy to pick out, or perhaps a mode of speech that is distinctive.
After picking the "smart" bandit's brains, he returns to the brothers to inquire in more detail about any traps, and even if they don't know of any, where they think traps might be placed, showing the map of the camp as a reference.

Narkari |

Jimmy turns towards Alendiri and nods his head before opening his mouth to reply. "We have. When we first came to this joint we had a much larger group but it slowly dwindled down. Logan and I liked getting out of camp when we could..."
Sveltana nods to the group and Ranzo's response and goes back to the trading post. It seems that she is going to start making some food for everyone.
O'Brian lets Quentin know that Happs was a crude and -foul-mouthed man but didn't know much about him personally. The only new information he gives is that it appeared that Happs was sometime the lover of Kressle, the leader of the bandits in the area.
As the day progresses the group discusses their plans for the following evening and decides to leave early the next morning.
Unless told otherwise I have posted that you guys have chosen to leave the next morning. I have no problem with changing this if the group decides to leave that night. Their is always a chance of random encounters so for the next few posts please roleplay riding to the camp. If you would like to make more plans or wanted to make actions for the previous day you may post it in the discussion. Just wanted to push us forward.

Endrance |

Endrance spends the night before the raid reviewing his spellbook and considering his comrades-in-arms. "We have a trap-making sorcerer, a nature enthusiast with a pet treant, a swordsman who enjoys talking a lot, and an archer. And me...and you, of course," he adds, looking at the black sword that lay sheathed on his bedspread.
Standing up and frowning, looking down at the sword, Endrance crosses his arms. "I can hear you...almost. I feel like that fight today, with the chance to practice true synchronization in real life-or-death conflict, has brought me closer to the truth. The words are still too distant, your voice too soft."
Walking closer to the bed, Endrance picks up the sheathed weapon and draws it, looking at the sword and speaking to it directly. "Just keep calling me. I'll figure this out soon, I promise. Keep shouting and shouting and eventually I'll be able to hear you."
Endrance finishes his studying and goes to sleep.

Ranzo vonLebeda |

Four A. M. ladies, lets be at it.
Ranzo will wake everyone up about four am for breakfast, preparing the horses and hopefully leaving at 5 am. The chosen brother will be tied on the mule and kept towards the center of the group.
Endurance and Alendiri will trade off at the rear of the group, Quentin and I will trade off in front. Alan will mostly watch the brother.
WE will proceed at a slow but determined pace.
We plan on heading south, hugging the woods, and stopping in the crotch of the woods upper left corner of D4 {Alan map 04.04}
We will wait there, just inside the woods and rest and nap with half of us on watch at all times. About midnight will will travel into the forest, head directly west, find the river and head south to the camp.

Endrance |

Endrance yawns and stretches in annoyance at the early wake-up time. He accepts a light breakfast and then hastily reads through his spellbook, preparing his powerful spells and grabbing his black blade. "Let us be off then."
As he walks, he stays towards the back of the group, keeping a sleep-deprived eye out for trouble. He keeps one hand on the handle of his sheathed sword at all times.

Narkari |

Jimmy lets Alendiri know that the ring was still in the bandit treasure horde as far as he knew. They hand't delivered anything to the Stag Lord yet so it should still be at the camp. Oleg overhear Alendiri asking about his wife's ring and offer's 1000gp in store credit for the return of the ring. He explains that she doesn't show it but the theft hit his wife hard and he would grateful for the return of the ring. He gives a small description and heads off to his own business.
The adventuring party packs their horses gets ready to depart the Trading Outpost. Jimmy decides to come with the group as he wishes to keep his brother safe and wouldn't mind making sure Kressle is dead. Now that he has "switched sides". He wants to make sure she can't come back to kill him. The party encounters nothing on their journey to the Bandit camp or that night but sleeping and guard watches.
It is the following morning and has been two days since the bandits arrived. The group it at the foot of the woods and are only a few hours away from the camp. Jimmy lets the party know that if they are gone for another day the other bandits may get worried.
Rolled for encounters and nothing. Oh well. You are close to the Bandit Camp. Go wild. :P

Alendiri Faladiir |

Alendiri simply nods and thanks Oleg for the offer. He had picked up on the concern himself and would have done it anyway, but the store credit is an appreciated incentive.
After ensuring everything is ready for traveling the next day Alendiri has an early night and is likely up before Ranzo. He didn't normally wake quite so early, but it wasn't too much of a stretch for him.
After a quick breakfast and a look over the horses they were to take Alendiri settles down out front beside his companion to meditate, returning an hour later ready to go.

He rides quietly the next day, keeping an eye out around them as they travel, trying to get a feel for the environment, and talking frequently with his companion as it trots along beside the horse, though about what is indistinguishable.
When they camp he eats meagerly and goes straight to his blankets, volunteering for a later watch, though his unsleeping companion settles down to watch the entire night. He wakes when it is time for his watch and spends it once again in quiet communication with his companion, only easing his vigil once the others begin to wake giving him a chance to meditate once more.
As they prepare to move out he readies himself, before looking towards the others. "I have come to an understanding with my companion. Ranzo you asked of his name previously, as simply as I can translate it, you may call him Twist-Leaf. He should be able to recognize it, though his understanding of the common tongue is still extremely limited."

Quentin Lovelace |

Quentin doesn't seem to much like silence during the trip, and while he doesn't blather on incessantly about nothing, he does like finding things to talk about with his traveling companions - including Jimmy. Perhaps especially Jimmy, as it might give him an understanding of the bandits' overall mentality that could be useful in the upcoming ruse.
In addition to whatever small talk other folks want to engage in, he does his best to get a complete picture of Jimmy's background, personality and character, ultimately getting to know him so he can broach the subject of why Jimmy became a bandit. Quentin does not bark at him or have the sort of obvious disdain in his voice that Ranzo did back at the fort, treating their captive as an actual human being, happily listening to whatever stories the other man may have about anything, no matter how minor a detail it may be.
Let's see if Jimmy might be inclined to start viewing us as something other than his captors: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Ranzo vonLebeda |

. . his understanding of the common tongue is still extremely limited."
"Thank you, I appreciate it, and I appreciate Twist-Leaf."
During the break before heading into the woods.
Talking privately to Quentin:
"Quentin, you get in as far as you can without waking anyone up, wave at the watchman and climb up to chat with him if you want. It's on your its all your decision. I will make the call when to send in Endurance. If you feel uncomfortable, flip an edge of your cloak over your left shoulder, since you will have your crossbow hidden with your right hand under Haps cloak.
Ranzo gathers everyone's attention.
"I know I have gone over this a lot, anyone have any last questions before we head into the forest? I would like to keep all talking in the forest to a minimum and attack quickly when we get there to lessen the chance of waking them.
OK I am done lets do it.

Alendiri Faladiir |

When Alendiri notices Quentin's attention to Jimmy he edges his horse a little closer, joining in the questioning, relating a bit about himself as well. While he doesn't mention any dates or timeframes Quentin and Jimmy may start to get a feel of just how old the elf is. He is pleased that someone besides himself is willing to treat Jimmy as more than just a prisoner, and in an effort to empathize with the 'boy' he relates some tales of his own 'vigilante' activities in the Grungir Forest against loggers and others who would harm that place.
As they are preparing for the assault the next day he checks to make sure Jimmy is not too uncomfortable where he's been tied, before stringing his bow and taking his position beside Ranzo, Twist-Leaf slightly ahead and off to the side of them.

Narkari |

3rd day of Pharast, outside of Thorn River Camp.
Jimmy is appreciative of Quentin conversing with him and acting like he is a equal. He starts to the view the man a bit better and this may come in handy later on. For now, the former bandit converses with the man and elf and does not seem very upset when tied to the tree.
The group travel for a few more minutes and come across the camp that was described in great detail from the captured bandits. To view more the group must come closer but one guard on each watch post is visible from a distance. They do not seem alerted to any presence as of yet but may notice if the group or someone approaches.
If approached, the Thorn Ford camp is noticeably large, and well defended by numerous platforms placed in trees. The camp itself is about 60 feet from the Thorn's north bank- a path winds alongside a shallow creek that leads directly to the campsite.

Combat has not started at the moment. Initiative is for future reference. Will wait for your all to come closer or Quentin to try out his disguise. Map of area is listed in discussion.

Endrance |

Endrance shakes his head in disbelief. "Man, Quentin, you look exactly like that Haps bloke. I never knew that a disguise could be so...thorough. Magic is a truly amazing thing, isn't it?"
As they neared the bandit camp, Endrance stays stock still behind a tree and glances at his comrades. "Decision time. How do you all want to proceed?"

Ranzo vonLebeda |

In a whisper:
"Like I said, Quentin goes in and cases the camp and makes a decision on his own, we wait for either his signal or I make the call and you go in and cast your spell on the sleeping bandits, and the rest of us come in and continue. Listen for my commands and don't get hurt. Call out if your in trouble"

Quentin Lovelace |

Quentin approaches the eastern sentry well ahead of the group, doing his best to affect both the physical mannerisms and body language of Haps which he assumes to be rather aggressive and crude.
"Oi, you there! We're back from that coward Oleg's little outpost, but the rest of the lot's held up on account of O'Brian turned his fool ankle in a gopher hole and's slowed 'em up. What's the situation 'ere? 'magine Kressle's gotta be lurkin' about, yeah?"

Endrance |

Endrance hides behind a tree, gripping his blade in one hand, his arcane power ready in the other, his legs trembling as he watches Quentin move. "This will work. It has to. No reason for them to think otherwise, he looks exactly like Haps..."
Ready an action to charge in there and attack if any of the bandits attempt to take a hostile action against Quentin.

Narkari |

Perception:1d20 ⇒ 15

The sentry turns towards Happs and lowers his guard by dropping his weapon and giving a wide grin and hustles Happs over to the bottom of the watch post. When Quentin approaches the camp he notices tents, firewood, food and other supplies are under a canvas tarp below the watch post. Two bandits are sitting lazily around the campfire while the sentry opens his mouth to speak to who he thinks is Happs.
"Sounds just like that bastard. Always slowing us down. The boss is over by the wagon talking to Neik. Migh ta been replaced!" he laughs to himself as if he had made a great joke.
Quentin Perception:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
As Quentin comes closer to the camp he does not hear or notice any more bandits from beyond the trees but this does not mean that they are not simply spread beyond the camp.
The man speaks again as if just remembering Happs other question. The other two bandits near the fireplace seem to be playing cards against each other and while gazing at the scene once they resumed to their game.
"Everythin quiet here. Did ye all get lots of valuables? Was that lass any good?" he snickers while leaning against the rail of the watch post to look down at Happs.

Quentin Lovelace |

Quentin does his best mean-spirited smirk, adding in a low chuckle for effect. "Maybe if you come next time 'round, you'll find out." Looking over to the wagon, he shakes his head and speaks back up to the sentry. "I'll talk to 'er when the rest of them lot gets back. Don't bother her, you know how she gets. Expect the rest in an hour or so, I'll double back and make sure they ain't done nothin' else stupid."
Pausing once out of line of sight of the sentry, he makes a quick survey of the area that the group will be approaching from using the guidance on the Accidental God's wisdom before hoofing it back to the rest of the group.
Stealth (if necessary, plus cover bonuses? Factor those in if necessary please)1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Casting Sift: Perception check for Sift: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
With that, he disappears back into the woods and makes his way back to the rest of the group, relating what information he has. "Sentries are in lookout points. Didn't see any more but that doesn't mean there aren't any. Most of 'em are asleep, two playin' cards over by the fire, Kressle and someone named Neik are by the wagon. They think the rest of the group will be here in an hour. I say we strike now at their leadership and then mop up the rest."
Will wait for Narkari's response for an addendum about traps/hidden stuff.

Endrance |

Endrance nods. "A solid plan. Though I wouldn't expect Kressle to go down as easily as her men from my spell. Those in positions of power tend to have a stronger head on their shoulders than lackeys, and a strong head can often be the difference between life and death when it comes to magic."
Endrance raises his blade and frowns. "Macha is crying out...I still can't understand her though..."
The blade vibrates strongly in Endrance's hand, shining with black light. "I see...I think Macha is demanding the leader's head. Very well. I shall engage Kressle personally, if no one else objects."

Ranzo vonLebeda |

"How bizarre that they are this active at 4 am. Plan does not change much. Wait 30 minutes, Quentin goes in and scopes, calls us in, Endurance your first priority are the ones at the campfire with your spell, Alendiri you use your entangle on those that are up after using the bow on the sentry. After Quentin or I make the call we go in like we are the bandits and then attack on my drawing my bow to my ear. Everyone got it?"

Narkari |

The sift spell reveals no traps or hidden items. It seems all the loot the bandits have acquired are simply stuffed in crates and chests with no protection under the tarp. After exploring the rest of the camp he notices three more bandits at K4 sleeping. A tent is currently pitched with another campfire nearby. Kressle is no where in sight.
When Quentin returns he notices that the two men that were playing cards are gone and that two men are now sleeping in bedrolls near the campfire. One of the men now asleep was the sentry that had welcomed him earlier. It seemed that the group arrived right after the sentries were switched off and this was why the two men from before were awake this early in the morning.
The new bandit peeks over the rail of the watchpost when he returns and simply goes back to looking bored while keeping watch. Their is little to no sound coming from beyond the east watchpost other then the sound of water and snores.

Alendiri Faladiir |

Alendiri was uncertain of the need for further delay, but as long as they struck soon then he would accept it. He would be glad to be done with it, and only hoped things would go as smoothly as planned. "If we can sneak up on them while they sleep then we may have no need of Endrance's spell." Alendiri observes softly.
Can you do a non-lethal coup de grace?

Ranzo vonLebeda |

The watchman has a thunderstone to awaken his people. They are on watch, if they see something strange they might awaken everyone.
Quentin, Endurance and Alan head like your going to bed with the others by the broken tree, Alendiri and I will go to the campfire with the two sleepers and sit.
Endurance, when your in a safe place between the two trees so you can't be seen from either watchpost, cast you spell on the sleeping men in the crook of the broken tree. That will make the watchman between us look that way. We will either knock out the two sleeping or use our bows to attack the watchman.
Assuming we can take out the eastern watchman quickly, make sure those four that Endurance cast his spell on are not going to wake up. Your next job is to take out the western watchman, when we are done with the 2 sleepers and the eastern watchman we will move to support you and clean up the camp. Questions? Let's go.
When moving into the camp I will favor one of my ankles showing the watchman what he is expecting.

Endrance |

"My name is Endrance, Ranzo. Not 'Endurance'. I don't know how you could possibly mix them up, they sound nothing alike," Endrance says crossly, too tired at 4 am to put up with Ranzo getting his name wrong for the seventh or eighth time since they met. "It's almost like you're reading my name off some kind of subtitle in the air rather than listening to me speak it."
"Anyway, your plan sounds good. Quentin, Alan, shall we?"
If there are no objections, Endrance will walk towards the broken tree, yawning and stretching his arms, scratching his stomach lazily and keeping both of his eyes half-open, trying to look as tired as he felt, though he is quite alert. He will lead the others into position, and wait for the opportune moment to strike.

Alendiri Faladiir |

Alendiri nods, not having to affect too much of a tired gait with how little sleep they ended up getting last night. He does however stick his shoulder under Ranzo's arm as if he's helping him out, making sure to stand on the man's off-hand side. He whispers instructions for Twist-Leaf to shadow them in the treeline and charge the target he indicates when he signals. He also pulls the hood of his cloak up and makes sure that his ears are hidden against at least a cursory glance, then starts walking with Ranzo

Quentin Lovelace |

Before the group heads out, he looks around the group. "Okay, I'm gonna need two of you to fake it as having a twisted ankle and the other helping him along. Decide amongst yourselves."
Still focusing on his performance as Haps, Quentin makes sure to be out in front of the group as they approach, looking as annoyed as possible as he approaches. As he passes near the first sentry, he speaks up to him in a gruff but low voice, "'ey you! Get yer rump down 'ere, we need an extra body to 'elp unload and such since that idiot O'Brian ain't got eyes fer s~~% and hurt 'imself." Not looking back, he thumbs over his shoulder at the shadowy group behind him with the one of the group being helped along at a limping pace. "See to it quick now, I'm too damned tired to deal with this s%@*e."
With that he casually strolls toward the sleeping area, putting on a show of a big yawn and scratching himself crudely.

Narkari |

I don't see why not. Doesn't say it has to be lethal damage.

The sentry seems bored when the man who appears to be Happs and gave a slow nod before turning over to look at the approaching group. Quentin can clearly tell something is wrong when the guard eyes widen as he looks between the group and can tell some of these men are not the other bandits. Quentin may make a believable Happs and his disguise is nearly perfect but the man is not blind. He can clearly tell that the men with no hoods are not their guys as they have no disguises. He appears confused at first as if wondering why Happs brought these unknown men with him but opens his mouth.
"INTRUDERS! INTRUDERS!" he yells and goes to his pouch as if to grab a object.

Well bummer. Oh well, that's how it goes. Are the sleeping bandits wearing armor? THat'd be something at least...
As the alert goes up Alendiri swiftly shrugs Ranzo's arm off, taking a half step away from the man to free some room for him to draw his bow, which he does, swiftly drawing, aiming and losing it at the sentry with that fluid grace that elves are so admired and envied for.
Longbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 for 1d8 ⇒ 3
Or perhaps not so envied in this case
Alendiri simply takes a moment to sigh as the shot goes wild, before whipping around, pointing at the furthest bandit he can see across the low fire, calling out to Twist-Leaf in Treant
A short crashing through the undergrowth precedes his arrival as he lumbers with impressive quickness (for a tree anyway) up to the sleeping bandits and brings his branch crashing down on one of them.
Twist-Leaf charges so that he's basically standing over the two sleeping ones, and hits the furthest one from the main party.
Slam +2 for the charge, +4 for prone target: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 + 4 = 10 for 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Actually, I think Twist-Leaf can get a Coup-de-grace, but not my call
Move away from from Alendiri, pull bow from under cloak, nock arrow and shoot at sentry. Using Point Blank
Bow attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Ranzo looks at Endrance, Quentin and Alan. "Go, same plan, hurry."
