Btw are we getting pfs chronicles for the first dungeon? I think we skipped some bits though...
I will send out the chronicle sheets once you complete redacted. We are playing in campaign mode which offers the DM some flexibility in where the story goes. It still counts for PFS credit. For example the adventure path had you making checks for how well you did aboard the Wormwood for every day for about 20 days. It may work fine around a table where rolls can be made quickly but in a PbP it we would have spent a month on not much besides that. In adventure mode the DM can add things as well, for example Salash was invented by me. As long as the basic elements of that part of the adventure path are completed then the PCs earn chronicle sheets that may be applied to a PFS legal character. I can if you want stick much closer to the script as written but it would offer less leeway as to what you guys can do.
On a side note I will be back home in about two weeks, at that point I intend to start using interactive maps, does Google docs work for everyone or is there another site you would like me to use?
AC 22/28 (T 12, FF 20). HP 57/33, Fort +8/9, Ref +5/9, Will +11/3 (+4 sp/su abilities aquatic or water types and spells). Init +4, CMB 4/CMD 16, Speed 20ft/Swim 30ft
I have used google docs in the past. Suny, if for any reason Google docs does not work for you I will find a work arround even if it means emailing maps ;)
Well I am flying back from deployment in a couple of days. I am having a little trouble getting google docs to work out here. I should be up and running by the 8th. Sory for the delay on this battle.
AC 22/28 (T 12, FF 20). HP 57/33, Fort +8/9, Ref +5/9, Will +11/3 (+4 sp/su abilities aquatic or water types and spells). Init +4, CMB 4/CMD 16, Speed 20ft/Swim 30ft
In the airport in Bahrain, wifi is decent. Everyone should be able to edit the map. Feel free to place yourselves before you jump Scourge and Plugg. I will be rolling initiative in the gameplay thread.
Map
Male Vishkanya Swashbuckler (Inspired Blade) 11 -- HP 123 : AC 26 CMD 26 TAC 20 FAC 17 : F+8 R+15 W+5 : INIT+8 Perception+16
I like how Fishguts is ever-so-slightly larger than his square. As though his portly belly protrudes beyond the dimensions of a typical Medium creature.
Please PM me you society numbers if you would like a chronicle sheet assignable to any pfs character. We will be moving onto book two once you get the ship off the rocks.
AC 22/28 (T 12, FF 20). HP 57/33, Fort +8/9, Ref +5/9, Will +11/3 (+4 sp/su abilities aquatic or water types and spells). Init +4, CMB 4/CMD 16, Speed 20ft/Swim 30ft
****Everyone should advance to level 4****
I will be at GenCon for the rest of the week so expect to start book 2 afterwards. I will be getting your chronicle sheets out ASAP.
@Arjun: Good point, In our home games we have never played with material components. While scorching ray is a great spell I want to focus on more utility/battlefield control/Buff stuff...Hmmm how about Stone call no save, no SR, damage and battlefield control.
Male Vishkanya Swashbuckler (Inspired Blade) 11 -- HP 123 : AC 26 CMD 26 TAC 20 FAC 17 : F+8 R+15 W+5 : INIT+8 Perception+16
Hmm... I would suggest web.
Scorching Ray - 14 damage average
Stone Call - 7 damage average, difficult terrain
Web - 5 damage average (set on fire), grappled and difficult terrain
More so than a typical adventure path, battlefield control really dominates due to the confined spaces of ship decks. If we were attacked and you plopped one web spell on the boarding planks and another on their rigging, then the fight is effectively stopped. Someone throws a torch? Their ship is one fire and everyone is damaged.
Plus, you are a shadow sorcerer. Shadows and spiders make for a great thematic blend.
AC 22 (T 12, FF 20). HP 42, Fort +7, Ref +4, Will +10 (+4 sp/su abilities aquatic or water types and spells). Init +4, CMB 3/CMD 15, Speed 20ft/Swim 30ft
Alright then Web it is, possibility of 3 conditions with 1 spell=Awesome. And I believe our DM also ruled that we can light grease on fire as well. So can I take spider Climb and crawl all over the webs?, Can someone paint a red hourglass on my belly?
