Grumm, as Iscarel is taking a while responding, how about you let me know your action. You have seen the guy you dislike move off to the side around the building ahead, there is another of his kin still on the road. This other character his a Flail in hand and is moving toward some unknown people ahead.

Grumm does not look happy. With all the dust on his clothes, the dwarf runs to AC44 (move action) and looks for the junkie. He wields his giant axe (second move action in replacement of standard).
He calls to him and says, "Hey you! Goblin-breath! We're not done yet! ... Your mother is quite gargantuan, Desna wished to teleport her, but she got stuck midway!"

Revised Action: (I've chosen to interpret the failed perception roll as a failure to pinpoint the source and glean the hidden meaning, rather than being completely oblivious, purely for the sake of continuing this song. If that doesn't fly, I'll be happy to touch it up.
Realisation dawns on the elfs face as he spots the aggressor. His gasp turns into a grin as he rests his hands on his belt knives, singing softly to himself, a sinister gleam in his eye. Inspiring Courage as a standard action, accompanied with a five foot step to Ascaria's side at R17.
"If I had a pair of knives, a pair of knives in the palm of my hand.../I'd make a pair of snakeskin boots, and travel far o'er all the land./and theere I'd take a pair of wives, fair as Calistria would give. / And I'd remember a fool of a snake, too foolish..." he sings, trailing off into a wicked grin. The junky in-front of Marcus, draws his light mace and makes a Trip attempt using his sickle in his off-hand.

The drugged assailant attempts to trip his opponent and makes such an awkward attempt that his is forced to drop the sickle rather than fall prone himself.

Ah, okay. If the guy was unarmed (except for the object he threw), Ethaniel might have just barked at him to run off. If he's armed, Ethaniel considers him a legitimate threat.
Ethaniel darts to Q21 and, with a flick of his wrist, attempts to wrap his whip around his opponent's mace and pull it from his hand.

The junky, having taken another expertly executed attack from his foe becomes visibly shaken, his legs wobble and his eyes almost roll back in his head from shock but he manages to hold it together. He falls to his knees and in a newly gained blubbering spatter cries out.
"I just need a hit man, I don't want to die!"

Ascaria, Tippy, Marcus and Ethaniel's heads turn as two more of the gang approach from further down the lane.
"Ah, now these are fairer numbers wouldn't you say lads!"
One has his shortbow out and looses and arrow. The other has a rapier ready, standing near his companion.

[ooc]Snuffy, the drug dealer and addict hears your taunt and turns to face you. The notched arrow intended for another now aimed at you and he lets it fly without fear his companion is near. Then he continues move away, increasing the distance from you, using the difficult ground to best affect.[ooc]

Tippy's Initiative
Tippy, the druggo near the alley in the houses turns after hearing a gruff voice from behind and charges at whoever the person was that gave the insult. You hear another voice, Snuffy but further away and you hear a bow string and arrow and a thud, followed by a painful growl from their target. Snuffy moves into your view as he continues to move away, through the debris strewn ground. You can see three of your companions through a small gap of light to the west.

Seeing his opening, the elf draws his knives, moving to T22 while his opponent is unarmed, flanking with Marcus. "Time to slither away, little snake..."

Apart from the two foes near you, you are able to hear more of the curs further ahead. This could get dangerous but it also sounds as though there are others ahead who are being assailed by the same gang.

This is definitely not one of Grumm's good days, and with bad days, Grumm's seen it all. He could gather cover from the others fighting off the rest of the gang, but he's busy with these two, and quite hurt. He forces his adrenaline to rise (Enter Rage), a talent he taught himself at the Five Kings and attacks the hoodlum beside him. (Power Attack with Large Dwarven Waraxe)
"And you! Your mother is quite putrid, Asmodeus fashioned the River Styx based on her pit stains!"
He then decides to take the risk and retreats to AC42 for some cover while sheathing his axe.

Ascaria will step between Marcus and Iscarel to gain a small amount of cover and will put a Hex of Fortune on Marcus and Cackle in consecutive rounds until healing his required.

A thousand thoughts hum through Ethaniel's mind in a split second. He looks to the fallen thug, then the arrow that has struck Ascaria, then to the new threat, then back to the fallen thug. If I tell them he's playing at dead, they're like to put a blade in his neck, helpless or not. Not that he doesn't deserve it, but I might as well open his throat myself. Another dead at my hands, or maybe at my command? He looks back to Ascaria, then to Marcus, then to Iscarel. Or risk an enemy at our backs? No. He made a decision, and so have I.
"That one is not dead. It's a ploy. Finish it."
Ethaniel turns his back on the man he has condemned and begins moving towards the archer. He turns his wrist and lets his whip dance, hoping to distract the man's aim. He remains light on his toes as he approaches, hoping to dodge the man's next arrow.
Ethaniel will use a Standard Action to take a Total Defense. He will then use a Move Action to move to P17.
