Unfortunately, PaizoCon's new dates now conflict with Kublacon, and I make a point of taking my son to PaizoCon each year, since it was our first con ever. I've had a great time at KublaCon before, would like to make it again.

Understood. PaizoCon is hard to compete with, but we're going to do our damnedest to be so awesome you regret not coming :)

No problem, Tog, happy to do it.

In case you don't remember, we've played together in real life once or twice. Last time would have been at Conquest Avalon last fall - we played Beacon Below with Derek Schubert and his awesome clay minis. I was the Desnan inquisitor sitting to your right, and my son Simon was the bomber alchemist sitting next to me.

In fact, as I think on it, 60% of us in this PbP were at that table. I guess Oladon and Tek had better things to do...

Good memory, Rob! I figure you see a lot of PFSer's, wanted to make the recollection easy.

I'm going to be running another 13th Age AP game here if any of you are interested.

13th Age is an easy to pick up d20 system and we'll be playing Shattered Star. I imagine we'll get fairly off course fairly quickly as 13th Age is a very player driven game so having played it before should not strongly affect your experience here.

Am hoping to get started by Friday the 6th at the latest.

Either way, let me know if you're interested or not so I know how many other yahoos to drag up :)

How many yahoos do you have onboard thus far? Anyone I know besides Slackadon?

Olabot is my only for sure so far.
Mattastrophic will likely be joining us but hasn't gotten back to me yet, and slacktite played last time.

I've had fun with this - you guys interested in keeping the Core thing going? There's a natural lead-in to The Confirmation at the end of this scenario, so I could run that, or we could pick something different, some favorite from the past or something. Kind of wild to have a wide-open set of scenarios to choose from again.

You guys have pummeled the last of them into unconsciousness, though Tog clearly held back a bit due to the tender feelings the wizard had shared with him. Will get a completion post up later, hopefully today.

I've got one vote for another Core scenario and three abstentions. Shall I take that as 'no' or a sign that two questions in a post is one too many?

So...
I visited some friends in Sacramento last night, and we ended up playing a CORE game, so I brought Tog, and we TPKed. :(

It was fast so we decided to give CORE Thornkeep 1 a try with 5 new characters and got TPKed again.

Been a rough couple weeks for my characters it seems.

Next up is my CORE Elven Bard, Feighllaro.

I don't have a suggestion for our 4th.

Wow, what an enormous bummer, Rob! I'll give a little thought to a 4th for our group, maybe Tek and Oladon can do the same.

Or we could play with 3 and a pregen - is the Kyra pregen core? I assume so, given when she came out, but I haven't really looked with that question in mind.

Tek - any ideas for a player to invite? If not, I can ask around. It looks like we'll have two bards and a wizard who thinks she's a fighter. So we probably need another arcane caster, right? ;p

I feel like I've found his voice, which is unusual for me so early in a character's career. Give us somebody to get squished up front too.
