Finally Takek channels a small amount of healing to the party, excluding the beetle Othes hurt. That one, badly injured, withdraws back to the crevice it came from. Only one remains, and being mindless, continues to attempt to gnaw at Valki

Valki Valka spat on the ground to clear her mouth, then took a swig of clean water. That done, she clasped Rhangil's shoulder, shaking him gently. "Well done, Rhangil. You are a man of surprises." Shaking her head, she muttered, "And my stomach is weaker than I thought. My ancestors will not be proud this day."

It steps away from the water. "Now, let us traverse inward and find this starmetal wall."

Rhangil smiles and shrugs jokingly at Valki Valka. "Sometimes you just get lucky."
Looking back and forth between the two pathways Rhangil taps his fingers together as he looks like he's thinking. "I got it! Who, other than me, can see in the dark? Who ever we are should go and scout ahead on one of the pathways. Rhangil has a "light bulb" moment. "Oo! Or we could split up and each look down one of the paths, Rhangil chuckles but not too far. We wouldn't want to get separated."

"Those glowing parts of the bugs should give us a little light for a day or so." Unwilling to suggest they wait for her stomach to settle, Valki Valka gave Takek a questioning look.
"Can Gorum cure this blasted water-sickness? I will offer my next kill to him if he does."
Because bargaining with the gods always works out! :D

Takek shook off the attack, and gave those still suffering another shower of cold, fresh water. Then he summoned the strengthening power of Gorum again.

"This one thanks you for the healing." Θ3Ξ5 nods to Takek. "Once we have rested, which way do you think we should look? This one would prefer not to encounter further foul fluids."

"Well," Takek said, looking about the place, "I think my wife and Rhangil have made good points. I have torches, but let us make use of what our collective strength has given us. Those who can see in the dark, go to the edges of the paths before us, and see what you can see without losing sight of the rest of us. In the meanwhile, we will cut the lights from these... creatures, and bring them with us, whichever way we go. They give enough light to be useful, without giving us away, like a torch would."
Pretty-much that. Darkvision scouts out, Takek and Valki Valka with glow pods (enough to be able to throw one or two out to light up a battlefield, if we wind up needing to, as well as one to hang onto (tie to a belt?) for close work). Then the two of us (and Felix, if he needs to) will stay at least 10-20' back from the scouts, so that they can see ahead of us, without us giving away their positions. My preference is to go up the dry-land route, but it's probably good to scout both ways at least a little (take a look down each way with Darkvision, at least), before we decide.

Felix grits his teeth and follows the barbarian woman.
He is careful to avoid the foul-smelling water; what was wading depth for his taller fellows would reach up to his neck.

Rhangil smirks at his dagger hitting dead center but his enjoyment is quickly cut short by the slime attacking him. He curses in Abyssal as he quickly pulls out his rapier and stabs into the gooey monster. Atk and Dmg.: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 111d6 ⇒ 4

Valki Valka's blue eyes narrowed when she saw the globs bearing down on Rhangil. Whirling her heavy blade once before her, she ran at the nearest one, prepared to slash the glob into lesser globs.

Takek tossed the glowing beetle sac he'd been carrying into the room, hoping that the light and heat might distract the slimey oozes.
Just a lob, trying to get at least 10' behind the blobs, so that they're all backlit, and, perhaps so that one or more of the slimes will go that way...

Technically those are the piles that spawned the molds, but also their location. If they get a chance to move I will put up pictures for them
