Folks, I can fit both Thordak and Red in, but Thordak cannot make his full round attack as I move him down and right and he will need to make an Acrobatics check to avoid the AoO.

• Thordak's Acrobatics check 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13. Thordak will revieve and AoO from the giant. Thordak moves and hits the giant with an attack with his axe. (Note that Thordak is not enlarged at this moment. The 1d10 is fine.)

A few notes.

On the prior map, if Thordak 5-foot steps to J/-20, he will not draw an AoO. Also, I forgot that enlarge person is a 1-round casting, so Thordak would not enlarge until next round anyway.

If Thordak moves to J/-20, then Red can 5-foot step to H/I, -18/-19.

With this, neither should draw AoO from the giant or the hobgoblin. Since Red has reach, this is as far as he needs to move to hit the giant.

Round 6

The invisible Tirion flies to F/-19 and casts Badger's Ferocity on Thordak and Bofus.
--> Bofus' rapier and Thordak's axe are now considered Keen. Bofus has a crit threat of 15-20 (go Butterfly Sting) and Thordak has a threat range of 19-20.

• Mantooth attacks the giant and with one final swing, the massive humanoid falls to the ground with a thud. He then stabs the hobgoblin to deliver a deadly wound to the bladebearer.
• Bofus flanks Mantooth to help the knight take down the giant, but then he flies to K21 to attack the next giant.
• Red delivers two deadly attacks against the same giant to bring the creature down to a badly wounded state.
• Poppy hovers nearby to give Red her encouragement and two coppers worth.

All, Bofus has the feat Butterfly Sting. Thordak should go immediately after Bofus and since Thordak has a 3x weapon, Bofus and Thordak should tag team a single giant. This is especially important since Red and Mantooth have higher 19-20 and 18-20 crit weapons.

• Mantooth crushes one of the hobgoblin bladebearers and severely wounds the other.
• Bofus moves around the hill giant and stabs the giant in its big ol eyeball and the creature drops to the ground dying.
• As the hill giant falls to Bofus' deadly attack, Red turns around and severs the two hobgoblins in half. Both are dead.
• Poppy nods her head in approval.
• Thordak turns and attacks his own hobgoblin and lands three painful attacks on the bladebearer, but it manages to stay standing.
• Tirion concentrates on his Badger's Ferocity, weaving his arcane powers into his companions to help them deliver critical hits to their foes.
• Giants. The giants stop throwing rocks and turn to attack Thordak, but trip over themselves and cannot score a hit.
• Hobgoblins. Many bladebearers flee, but one manages to get a stab in on Thordak, Son of Throtgar.

Bofus points to the giant farther away from the wall, and flits around to his other side, deftly dodging to prevent the oaf from making a proper swing. Maybe you didn't realize based on my post, but Thordak and Bofus are actually flaking the other giant. If you change your target, that's an additional +2 to hit. Also, because you're enlarged, you don't need that 5' step--but you can take it if you want, of course!

From up in the air, both Tirion and Poppy spot a huge red dragon lingering in an encampment camp of Red Hand hobgoblins about half a mile away. From a distance you can make out its cruel horns surrounding its head. Thick scales the color of molten rock covvers its long body. It is not moving at the moment, but you realize that it could reach the city within moments should it choose to attack.
