Enna |

"Ok, let me see if I have this right so we can just stop all this silliness. The half-elf here hated his father, who I am guessing was not his father, for hating him for being the bastard offspring of adultery. Guessing your mum either ran off without you or she died for her sins, any woman who would break the sanctity of the contract should have had her head shaved and been harried through the streets with rocks. Unless you are the product of unwanted advances at which point I will change my answer to your mother committed suicide." Enna continues to watch Tsuto as she speaks, looking for any slip on his part. "You became a horrible monster because people don't know how to raise children as a community here on the surface and do not understand what a gift each working par of hands is. You some how convince a bunch of goblins not to kill you; stage a raid on the town to get your revenge on your family while everyone is distracted; and now that you have killed your false father and taken out your frustrations on your half-sister you are ready to meet your maker. Did I miss anything or does that about cover it?"

Elaina Newberry |

"Who cares? He's not gonna talk to us. Let's finish this."

Enna |

"Doesn't fit. What is your connection to the priest Tsuto? Where does he figure in?" The new information confuses the heck out of Enna, what would the half-elf want with the remains of a dead priest?

Elaina Newberry |

"I'm not talkin' about the goblins, Nover, I'm talkin' about him. If he's not gonna talk to us there's only one thing left to do after we take his magic stuff from him. He's too dangerous to leave here and the guards can't spare anyone to watch him all the time, seeing as most of the guards are dead. So be a dear and fetch him from his cell before he magics through the wall or something."

Togog Treesplitter |

"He must face the justice of his peers," Togog's gravelly voice says. "It is for the law to pass justice upon him - and should his crimes require his life, the Gods."

Zelladanyia |

"This half-elf here appears to be responsible for letting a group of goblins into the Glassworks. They killed the workers inside in addition to the owner of the place. We have killed all the goblins we found inside the building and took Tsuto into custody so that he could answer for all the deaths he caused. We have also informed Ameiko of her father's demise. There are a number of bodies that will need dealt with and other families to be notified."
"We think that he is also responsible for sneaking the goblins into town during the Festival raid. He needs to be held in custody, not only to answer for his crimes, but to also answer questions on who else assisted in planning the raid."

Enna |

"Glassworks were assaulted by this man and his goblin allies. No survivors were left. The daughter has taken charge of her father's estates after his death. We plan on going in and securing the tunnels they used to enter the town. This man should remain clapped in irons and muzzled until such time as he can stand trial. Now if you all don't mind, I am going to go get the blood cleaned off."

DM Crispy |

The man tries to digest the news, somewhat successfully. "Lonjiku Kaijitsu is dead? The workers? Oh my..." The man sits there shell-shocked for a moment, before looking at you all. "Are you planning on going back there, then? To these tunnels? I'll take my time getting a group over there to clean things up to give you enough time to explore everything..."

Elaina Newberry |

"Uhhh we are the law. That tall guy left us in charge. This guy admitted to bein' behind the goblins, he won't help us, he won't help himself. Keeping him here just ties up people who should be out looking for and protecting from goblins."

Nover Romux |

Cracking his knuckles, a sly grin crosses the dwarves face.
"You bet your bottom copper we're goin' back down in those tunnels. We have no idea what could be lurking down there ready to assault the town. So we are going back tomorrow morning with a fresh night of sleep so we ensure the towns safetyl"

Zelladanyia |

"We do plan to go back in and explore the tunnels, but we would appreciate if you could organize a detail to see to the deceased factory workers. As a visitor here, I am not familiar with everyone and those bodies will need to be properly identified so that their families can be notified. Perhaps start a large bonfire too for the goblin bodies, I wouldn't want to taint the ground here with their corpses."

Zelladanyia |

"Oh we plan to go in before you, there could be another goblin or two hiding in there. I just thought that it would take you some time to get everyone organized to deal with the dead in the proper manner."
Zella will motion her fellow goblin slayers away from Tsuto's cell so that he cannot hear. "Perhaps if we give the building a good search we can come up with some clues as to who Tsuto's fellow conspirators are. Maybe we can even get a confession of some sort out of him if we can present him with evidence."
If no one disagrees, Zella is ready to head on back to the Glassworks now that their prisoner is safely in jail.

Elaina Newberry |

"We're just gonna leave without searching him? Fine. I'll do it myself. You there! Open the door." She demands of the deputy.

Elaina Newberry |

Elaina strolls into the cell grinning, swinging her hips, and twirling her glowing sword. "Wassamatter? I thought you wanted to get to know me better. I just wanna disarm you, then we can have some fun."
Arcane strike: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Non-Lethal Magic Damage: 1d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 = 11
She giggles at her incredibly clever play on words, then batons Tsuto in the face with the dull part of her blade.
Dunno if he's helpless or prone or what, but I assume that hits and knocks him back out. Take 20 on perception for 25 and use detect magic to search him for anything interesting.

DM Crispy |

A quick blast to the face, and Tsuto is back in unconscious land. Thankfully, the people of Golarion have yet to learn about the ill effects of multiple concussions, or there might be a lawsuit involved.
Elaina's magical detection finds nothing new, just the item in a pouch on his belt and a ring on his finger.
A thorough search finds:
MW Thieves' Tools
MW Flute
Silver Earrings
A Journal full of clues - More on that later
6 pouches full of what appears to be gold dust
8 pouches full of what appears to be silver dust
10 platinum pieces
Potion (magic)
Ring (magic)

Elaina Newberry |

"Guess I play too rough. Too bad he's not awake to sign this inventory sheet. Shame if something were to go missing. Oooh this is nice." Elaina slides the thieve's tools into her sleeve and gathers the rest of the things into her skirt. "What next? I'm hungry. He's buyin'."

Nover Romux |

Feeling his stomach growl, Nover is ready for some lunch.
"Let's eat someplace that isn't the Rusty Dragon for once. Ameiko needs her rest. Let's go over the journal while eating lunch and gather up some clues before heading out. It's somewhat foolish to head into the unknown if you have a way to gather information beforehand."

Elaina Newberry |

Elaina pouts at the man through the bars. "It's not my fault! He was eyeballin' me. This way is safer for everyone. If he'd tried anything then I would have had to k-..." She breaks off and stares down at the objects in her skirt in somber realization. "Oh..." She returns her gaze to the deputy and flashes him a smile. "Anyways, these are all part of our investigation. Our investigation into the goblin tunnels under the town. The tunnels we're going in to tomorrow. To save this crappy town. Unless you plan on commin' with us, I think his stuff is more important to us than it is to you."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Togog Treesplitter |

"I'm afraid I'll need to confiscate these items, in Angradd's name." I say. "They could be unhallowed, dangerous artefacts." I pause. "I will of course provide you with a receipt."
Appraise check1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4... assuming the currency is mundane
"These seem sufficiently mundane," I continue, pushing the heavy coins across the desk. "Wealth is no sin, so long as its honestly earned."

DM Crispy |

Willers looks dubiously at Elaina. "I don't think so..." He nods to the table. "You can either place those items on the table, or I will be forced to call for backup."
"Just wait for the Sheriff to get back and straighten things out. If he determines you should have this man's belongings for your good work here, then so be it. But you are not going to just go in there and knock him unconscious and start stripping him clean." He seems to get angry all over again, visibly trying to calm himself.
"Look, keep the journal, as you might find something in there."

Enna |

Enna lets out an exacerbated sigh of annoyance. Where once she was merely tired and covered in blood, now she was tired; covered in blood; and dealing with an idiot. "Ok, let me see if I can explain this. The man here participated in the murder of multiple towns folk including his father, now these folks have apprehended him and turned him in. We are going back in to deal with the rest of the goblin threat and you are worried more about the care that this man is dealt with. I understand it is your job, but I am currently half tempted to walk out right now and let the townsfolk know that a man responsible for the torture and murder of their friends and family... nay, responsible for the whole goblin menace and every death it has caused... This Man Here has been apprehended and you my good man are more worried about his tools that could be used to safeguard the survival of every person in this town. You treat him like he was just some petty pickpocket. You shame your town sir. Oh, but you are not offended if I take his personal belongings in the form of a book. That would be all right, what because the book has no intrinsic value to You keeping it." Enna turns towards Elaina. "Put the money on the table, it should go to help all the families that have lost husbands and children to the goblins foul appetites. Families who I am sure will want to be informed of current events. The journal I will read, maybe we can find out something about why this happened and if there are any more plans. Enna then turns her steely gaze back on to the poor beleaguered guard. "I would suggest you bind this man extra tight and keep him unconscious, when the mob comes to drag him out in to the street it will be easier for them to hang him. Please do try not to lay down your life valiantly for your convictions, I do not believe this town should be deprived of one such as yourself."
Enna holds out her hand for the journal, never taking her accusing gaze off the man Willer.

DM Crispy |

Willers withers under the dwarf's verbal assault, but shakes his head, stubbornly. "I don't rightly know what intrinsic means, lady, but I am not about to just let you cart this man's valuables off as if you now own them because you caught him. That's not how the law works around here, Miss. I'll let you have the journal because it might offer more information. And Hemlock might let you have the half-breed's things when he gets back. I'm in no position to make that call."
He hands over the journal and proceeds to lock the cell after everyone steps out of it.
I'll go ahead and post the journal later on tonight.

Elaina Newberry |

"Alright. Whatever you do, don't help. Instead, contemplate how many more people might be alive today if you were capable of doing your job." Elaina releases the hem of her skirt and lets the items clatter the the ground, but deftly snatches the ring out of the air.
Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Elaina Newberry |

Hahaha. This is Elaina's best day for dice rolling so far.
"Trying to help you idiots and I'm getting fought at every step. Find someone else to save your town." Elaina storms out of the building and stomps her way to the Rusty Dragon. Her mood sinks a little more when she arrives and remembers Ameiko isn't going to be there. At least she could inform Bethana of Ameiko's not-dead state.

From Tsuto's Journal:
One page shows a sketch of Sandpoint, with arrows and X's at different places. There is text above the map:
The raid went about as planned. Few Thistletop Goblins perished, and we were able to secure Tobyn's casket with ease while the rubes were distracted by the rest. I can't wait until the real raid. This town deserves a burning, that's for sure.
Another page has a drawing of a beautiful woman's face, also with text:
Ripnugget seems to favor the overwhelming land approach, but I don't think it's the best plan. We should get the quasit's aid. Send her freaks up from below via the smuggling tunnel in my father's Glassworks, and then invade from the river and from the Glassworks in smaller but more focused strikes. The rest except Bruthazmus agree, and I'm pretty sure the bugbear's just being contrary to annoy me. My love's too distracted with the lower chambers to make a decision. Says that once Malfeshnekor's released and under her command, we won't need to worry about being subtle. I hope she's right.
Another page has a sketch of a beautiful nude woman with a devil's tail and fiendish wings:
My love seems bent on going through with it. Nothing I can say convinces her of her beauty. She remains obsessed with removing what she calls her "celestial taint" and replacing it with her Mother's grace. Burning her father's remains at the Thistletop shrine seems to have started the transformation, but I can't say her new hand is pleasing to me. Hopefully when she offers Sandpoint to Lamashtu's fires, her new body won't be as hideous. Maybe I'll luck out. Succubi are demons too, aren't they?
Other pages of interest include a map of a planned assault on Sandpoint by 200 or more goblins. There are several of these, and most have been marked out or have an X through them.

Nover Romux |

Skimming the notes, Nover looks worried.
"Next focused strike would be from the river? 200 goblins? That's practically an army for them. Those should be our first priority. The rest of it we should probably think on and come up with a better strategy later."
Trying to think hard he ponders about the Thistletop goblins.
"Those might live close to here, and if they are the largest threat we can always ask that half-elf woman for directions. She seemed to know a lot about the goblins, she might know about these names."

DM Crispy |

Shalelu is a full-blooded elf, but if there is someone who knows about them, it is her.
As a matter of fact, the more Nover thinks about it, the more he is sure he recognizes the names Ripnugget and Bruthazmus. Yes! In the meeting with Shalelu, she had mentioned that Ripnugget was the Chief of the Thistletop goblins, and that Bruthazmus was an independent bugbear ranger she had had skirmishes with off and on.
Of other concern is the ominous mention of the 'freaks' that Tsuto mentioned the quasit should send up from 'below'.
Alright, everyone...knock off the weekend funk and let's get busy. :)

Enna |

"So back in to the tunnels we go to deal with this quasit and freaks before we have another invasion on are hands, then off to stave off this potential assault from the river. Sounds like we have our work ahead of us."

Zelladanyia |

"Shalelu would be the best person to ask, but I don't know how often she comes into town or how to get into contact with her. Perhaps we can find someone to ask about that later on. First we should give the tunnel a thorough search. There's no telling what may be hiding down there. Maybe while we are down there one of you dwarves can figure out how to best collapse the tunnel after it is cleared. I'd feel better knowing that nothing else can come up through it."

Elaina Newberry |

Are you guys still at the prison? Elaina doesn't like to eat alone.
