Only those two. It may not come up until after we do this task, but he's going to ask the High Priest for forgiveness of his sect and an opportunity to reforge it and he's going to ask the High Warden for assistance finding Chione, a woman he has strong feelings for.

Razan Tresh |

Hoping the Aiieee thing isn't too annoying, I've been feeling like death warmed up this past week so I'm struggling to find a way to convey it clearly, its more a quiet almost under his breath thing than him shrieking as I fear it comes across.
There's not much eidolon law so my basic premise for Elreem is that they come from an unspecified home plane, and that Elreem is a greater entity there only able of entering this plane through Razan's limited perspective and abilities.

Ajkanir al-Atabiyah |

I like it, it gives him a distinct voice, which is nice in PbP. Now that you've described it a bit, I like it more.
That said, if this campaign lasts for thousands of posts (which would be great), you may consider developing a new verbal tic.

DM Corvus |

The way i always saw the eidolons are as a physical manifestation of something from another plane, manifested through the caster's interpretation of that creature/power, hence how it is a malleable creature.
If this game continues i would like to explore just what the creature is, and implications of the sort of power Razan has.
Paizo never specifies the frequency of people with the abilities of their PC classes, but I imagine that classes like Oracles and Summoners are, as they say in the 2nd edition Monster Manual, "as rare as Roc's teeth." and I intend to play it out in this campaign that way. People's reactions to
Elreem may not always be pleasant.
Same goes for Khol, of course, but Tieflings are a known commodity, even if most average folk will never see one.

Razan Tresh |

That's pretty much how I've always seen it, thankfully both Elreem and Razan are relatively humble characters. In this instance I'm choosing to play it more as Elreem having been an existing entity that was very occasionally able to manifest in a certain Oasis and had thus become a local legend - a la Nessie - who Razan latched onto. Essentially I'm thinking of Razan as a weak Summoner - relatively low charisma, etc. - who was only able to form the bond because of fortuitous circumstance, rather than the more "typical" manifested an imaginary friend idea.

Zahur al Kinasi |

Done shopping. The additional items Zahur has purchased are
- Scroll of Follow Aura
- Scroll of Blood Biography
- Scroll of Delay Disease
- Scroll of Zone of Truth
- Masterwork backpack
- Spell component pouch
- Camel
- He has 35 gp left
I'm in progress of updating character sheet with those.

Natasha Mournglory |

DM Corvus, whatever else happens, Natasha will cast her Extended Endure Elements before she sleeps, giving her protection from the elements for the coming 48 hours. It should be useful, considering the trip we're about to take.
In addition, I would like to use the time to scribe a Scroll of Fireball before turning in. Do I have the time?

DM Corvus |

it says 1 day per 1,000 gp in value. scroll cost will be 188gp to create, according to 12.5 x spell level x caster level.
According to the scribe scroll feat, it takes 2 hours to do so if the cost is under 250 gp.
meeting adjourns at roughly 1 pm, plus any market time, plus 8 hours of mandatory rest, and meeting in the morning gives you enough time to scribe lets say, two scrolls, provided you have the coinage.

Natasha Mournglory |

Only one, I'm afraid. The handbook says you can only write one scroll a day... :-\ And of course a Wizard needs to have it prepared.
How much for a camel, by the way? I can't seem to find the cost...

Ajkanir al-Atabiyah |

Related to Natasha's question - would this be almost entirely a camel-riding culture, or do horses also make sense? Seems both have existed in desert settings, looking for a DM recommendation on what we'd be riding.

Razan Tresh |

Razan's not particularly worried about holy water, generally speaking at this level I feel its going to be a very rare case where using it isn't a waste of an action, 2d4 damage is just pretty unimpressive.

Natasha Mournglory |

Natasha's shopping list:
Backpack
Bit and bridle
Camel
Daggers (5)
Feed (18)
Military saddle
Scroll case
Tent
She also scribes the Scroll of Fireball for those awkward moments.
And she still has 165 gold left. Of course the camel gets to carry most of this stuff -- including its feed. ;)

Ajkanir al-Atabiyah |

One thing we seem to be a bit lacking in is healing.
Khol, thanks for buying the wand of CLW (assuming you're going to use it on all of us ;) )- I'd propose that once we get paid for this job, we invest as a party in at least one more such wand, so Khol doesn't bear all that cost and we have lots of healing on hand.
Zahur should be able to use one also, right?

Ajkanir al-Atabiyah |

Yeah, in my real life game - where we're playing Carrion Crown without a cleric - my ranger is our healer. Good stuff.

Ajkanir al-Atabiyah |

you'll be fiiiiine
I don't find that worrying at all.

Zahur al Kinasi |

I can use a wand of CLW and am happy to contribute to the cost. I think we'll be ok without multiclassing. I do have a lot of the cleric spells, just not their flexibility to memorize particular ones each day. We need to plan out more and load me up with scrolls for the things we think we need. We can start a list of those and next time we're back in town, I can see about adding them.
I'm going a bit of an unusual direction with Zahur. He's really a support character and is going heavy on the skills aspect of the inquisitor rather than the combat side of things (except for Salt the scorpion of course). I generally find healing in combat not to be the best action anyway. I think you get more people killed permanently by healing than trying to get the combat over as quickly as possible.

Razan Tresh |

Well I have a wand of Infernal Healing, which heals 10hp over a minute, but is technically a evil act to use - which I think is rather silly, the flavor is that you are using demon blood to heal, its better value than a wand of cure light if you aren't worried about the demon blood thing - and importantly its on the wizard and summoner spell lists. Razan also has lesser rejuvinate eidolon which can heal Elreem, but Elreem is going to be soaking up so much damage - potentially 4d6 from his own attacks, before worrying about the enemy.
School conjuration (healing) [evil]; Level cleric/oracle 1, magus 1, sorcerer/wizard 1, summoner 1, witch 1
CASTINGCasting Time 1 round
Components V, S, M (1 drop of devil blood or 1 dose of unholy water)
EFFECTRange touch
Target creature touched
Duration 1 minute
Saving Throw Will negates (harmless); Spell Resistance yes (harmless)DESCRIPTION
You anoint a wounded creature with devil’s blood or unholy water, giving it fast healing 1. This ability cannot repair damage caused by silver weapons, good-aligned weapons, or spells or effects with the good descriptor. The target detects as an evil creature for the duration of the spell and can sense the evil of the magic, though this has no long-term effect on the target’s alignment.

Zahur al Kinasi |

Zahur is really an "any action as long as it leads to the greater good of Gozreh and all he/she stands for" kind of guy so he wouldn't have a problem with that. He has no problem going in and impersonating Ahriman followers and all of their actions as long as in the end it serves Gozreh. Using an evil wand would not be a big deal for him. That's why he and the Sirocco are a bit on the outs with the church right now.

Ajkanir al-Atabiyah |

Also good to go here.

Ajkanir al-Atabiyah |

I had the same question about Mutt Tiefling, and figured he just meant he's a regular tiefling, rather than the spawn of a div and a rakshasa who only mated at the dark of the moon on the Plains of Gehenna. Or something like that.

Khol Karis |

Mutt tiefling is what I call the basic tiefling race, he does not have any traits that seem to indicate one infernal race over another. A mutt of infernal influence.
Shapeshifters don't get a favored terrain.

Ajkanir al-Atabiyah |

@Corvus - any thoughts on my horse vs camel question of yesterday, 9 AM? (only noting the time so you can find it easily, not to be a pain about it)
