The merchant ship Jenivere has embarked upon a voyage from Magnimar to distant Eleder, in a land of jungles and ancient ruins. Our heroes have been picked up at one of the many ports along the way, and now head for the myth shrouded Mwangi expanse.

I'm assuming that Alexite is shooting Klorak the Red since the girl at the bottom of the stairs is dead now! Jack will be out of the way before those shots are fired since I announced my intent to withdraw already.

Jack's eyes widen as the horrific Klorak descends the stairs and cuts a swath through his own people to get to him. "I-I'm flattered, b-b-but.. uh.. excuse me!"

The rogue turns heel and runs into the back room of the lighthouse, presumably to soil himself.

Full-Round Action: Jack withdraws to H4

When I posted the map showed a girl at K7! It's OK though, Alexite would have shot at Klorak anyways.

This isn't the first time this happened to me. DM Carpe, can you please write down a "Done" at the bottom of your posts once they are finished?

Alexite wasn't one to ask for help easily but seeing this man cut down his own people changed that quickly. "Jack, don't run away now! Somebody help me here!"

That's probably not the kind of thing I'd remember to be honest Alexite, the map is always the last thing I add. If you go with the map I link in the post it should always show the current situation, I presume you referred to a map in an older post?

Both of Alexite's arrows find their mark, but they barely seem to trouble Klorak, and he only laughs madly as he shakes off Dragolan's magics.

"I'll try to help hold the door Joll, go!" Jask says, glancing nervously over at Klorak.

Quinta sees a monkey scamper down from the window and scamper across to her poking her gently with a single tiny digit that sends a current of crackling electricity surging through her body causing her excruciating agony and making her hair stand on end!

Ishirou still pulling his armor on cries out pointing towards the window,

"The witch she's outside the window chanting some spell!"

Quinta takes 12 electricity damage. She does not have her fangs activated so does not get an aoo on the tiny monkey.

Maybe I read the post and didn't see a new map so I went back and got the old one. In any case, thanks.

Guys, we are in trouble. Fighting three separate fights?! But look on the bright side, if we survive this, we can take care of pretty much anything. :)

Badly injured Quinta steps back away from the monkey and draws her rapier attempting to skewer the little beast as she continues to sing. She strikes home, but manages to get only a little power into the blow.

Unsure what to do about the witch with only his sword to hand and leaving the monkey to Jack and Quinta for the moment Ishirou continues frantically pulling his armor on.

The cannibals attempt to force the door again, but are no match for a snarling Sasha.

Then the cannibal women surge down the stairs, another being revealed as she moves around the curve in the staircase. One lashes out at Ishirou, one at Dragolan, and one at Alexite.

While Ishirou and Alexite are easily able to dodge clumsy slashes, a shrieking cannibal woman buries her blade in Dragolan's gut! The injury is horrific, but Dragolan is still up and fighting, albeit in a great deal more pain.

Things hadn't looked this bad since they had crashed in this damned island. Alexite worried when the large oracle took a deadly cut but somehow remained on his feet; it was only a matter of time before he fell. With the pounding on the door and the madman cutting down his own people, the ranger needed to even the odds quickly. If he could only kill the women quickly so they could then concentrate on the chief. Now was the time to try out the new scabbard...

The ranger pulled out his family blade, now augmented (+3 for 3 rounds) and struck down the savage girl in front of him (I8).

With that girl almost split in two, the ranger shifted his stance and his falchion quickly went up and down cutting down the savage woman next to her (cleave to J8).

You can't really do it I'm afraid, outside of turn at least. For you to do it and keep your init you would have to use the reposition maneuver. You could move to K9 though, I'll say its enough of a square to avoid squeezing.

We're clearly more acquaintances than friends, after all.

The giant's blow sends Joll to his hands and knees but he is quick to regain his feet. Springing back to a standing position puts the handsome inquisitor in the way of the giant's teeth, however. Only the sturdy metal links of his armor save him from another wound. Joll draws back a step and nearly slips in the puddle of his own blood. It is all he can do to remain standing.

I can't see any way other than tumbling which would allow you to do that Alexite.

DM Carpe wrote:

I though tumbling was for moving through a square occupied by an opponent and that you could move through a square occupied by a friend 'normally'. My issue is if I move from I9 to K9 (through J9) I would incur AoO from the girl and 'the Red', which I don't want. :) This is why I wanted to move I9 to J10 to K9 and only take an AoO from the girl. Anyhow, I have to go now but will look at the rules again and post later tonight. Thanks.
