It says the last post was by Semenya, but I don't see anything. Can anyone else see it? Just making sure I'm not missing it.

I saw it - but it's gone now.

Semenya waits until Del confirms that everyone is on the move, then steps up to cast the spell. She has her loaded crossbow pointed down - but ready to take a shot if needed.

The die rolls for hit dice affected were 4, with a duration of 6 rounds.

Will save DC is 14.

While the spell is in effect, Semenya says, first in Common, then in Orcish, "There are Hellknights coming. You'll want to lead them away from your mates and children. The best favor you can give us for this information is to forget we were here."

Spoiler:
Goblin Will Saves:
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

As Semenya comes around the corner, she speaks the incantation and the three filthy goblins rise to their feet staring at the sorceress with disbelief that anyone else would be down in the sewers. As Swmwnya speaks her command, the goblin closest to her turns fleeing down the tunnel behind him, the others look surprised by his actions and turn back to you snarling and drawing their dogslicers. The rest of the group can now see Semenya twenty feet ahead.

MAP

Spoiler:

Semenya 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Del 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Arodio 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Derek 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Eklektos 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Theron 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Goblin F-8 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Goblin E-9 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Initiative:
Semenya
Eklektos
Arodio
Derek
Goblin F-8
Goblin E-9
Theron
Del

M Human ( Chelis ) Fighter 2

Only Semenya shows on the map.Assuming i'm in the same corridor behind her.

Arodio makes haste down the corridor to join Semenya.

Obviously i won't get in melee reach this round, so no point in giving coordinates

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Semenya will take a shot with her crossbow at the goblin in E-9, then step back down the hallway. She will press back against the wall to let Arodio pass easily.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 Crossbow shot
1d8 + 0 ⇒ (4) + 0 = 4 Damage if it hits.

Male Human (Azalanti) Hp: 96/110, AC: 30 Bard 8/Fighter 4

Hmm, since only half the corridor is secure footing I take it this counts as difficult terrain?

Derek will also move down the corridor, but not wanting to get in front of Arodio (who is in medium armor and thus would have 20' movment right?) He will stop behind him. That's still two move actions I think so that's it this round.

Dark Archive

Here is a new MAP. Theron is right behind Eklektos then Morosino and Janiven. This is assuming you all move up.

Yes, difficult terrain.

M Human ( Chelis ) Fighter 2

Not sure if we are already following combat order ( in which case now should be goblin's turn ) or the first round starts now ( then now Semenya would have to do her first move, then Eklektos and so on)

Dark Archive

Semenya, Derek, and Arodio have posted their first round actions. I am waiting for the others, then I will detail them all in a full round one post. Eklektos is up though.

Male Aasimar Druid 2

Eklektos is going to replace his Wayfinder in his pouch, and get a two-handed grip on his spear, preparatory to moving forward to act.

Yes, Del would just move forward in turn.

Dark Archive

Spoiler:
Goblin Reflex Saves:
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

As soon as the goblins pull their dogslicers, Semenya takes her shot and the bolt sails just over the goblins shoulder while it moves forward, shattering against the slimy stone wall. Semenya then moves back into the tunnel, flattening herself against the wall so Arodio can pass by. Everyone else moves up behind Semenya, readying themselves for the assault.

Semenya is up

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Semenya, on hearing Arodio come up, will move with him when he goes forward, flattening herself against the wall at C-6. She will hold her Standard action until the Goblins move closer, at which point she will cast Burning Hands from C-6 to cover squares D-7, D-8, D-9, E-7, E-8 and F7. She will wait until she can get both Goblins in the spell.

She'll murmur to Del via Message: "Flamethrower coming up. After that, I'm using the crossbow."

Spell is a Reflex save at DC 14. Damage is 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

(Arodio's move is 20', so he can reach C-8 on maximum; barring a double move on his part, this should toast some Goblins before they get within range of him hitting them.)

Because of the nature of this action, it is entirely possible that Semenya will abort the spell - the Goblins may decide that Arodio is dangerous enough to run away from.

M Human ( Chelis ) Fighter 2

I know it is Eklektos' turn, but Arodio can only move anyway

Arodio moves to C-6 to make room for the others to pass ...he would like to scream to intimidate the goblins, but he just remembered they are chased

In case a goblin survives Burning Hands :

Also he holds a standard action to swing the flail in case an opponent approaches:

standard action:attack with flail 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
damage if applicable: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 bludgeoning

Not bad for the first attack of the AP;hope it won't go wasted

Male Aasimar Druid 2

Theron would have moved up to stand beside Ekleketos on his last turn.

Eklektos moves forward, squeezing past the others, and gets to a point where he can see what is happening. He takes a defensive posture, readying his spear to strike any who make aggressive moves toward the group.

Eklektos moves to square B7, the holds action to spear anybody who moves to attack or makes other hostile moves toward the group. Theron, on his turn, will come up and stand adjacent to Eklektos, either in B8 or C7, and ready action to bite any opponent who threatens Eklektos or himself.

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Arodio, I think you want to be in C-7, not C-6 with Semenya.

Male Human (Azalanti) Hp: 96/110, AC: 30 Bard 8/Fighter 4

Derek moves cautiously forward, taking a glimpse at what is going on, then he will draw a dagger and keep it in his off hand, ready to throw.

Move action to A-6, then using a second move action to draw a dagger.

Dark Archive

Sorry guys, here is the MAP at the end of round 1. If you want to change your position go ahead. Maybe Semenya to B-6, Arodio B-7, then your flames should still hit both and Arodio will get an attack if the goblin still stands.

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Semenya will move to B-6 and cast Burning Hands as above.

M Human ( Chelis ) Fighter 2

Arodio will go in B-7 then

and in case the rolls from before are no longer valid:

standard action:attack with flail 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
damage1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 bludgeoning

Male Aasimar Druid 2

Eklektos will move to C6 instead, then. He'll keep a wary eye out for any hostile moves on the part of the Goblins, but won't attack immediately.

Hold Action to Spear Goblin making hostile moves: 1d20 ⇒ 3 for 1d8 ⇒ 5 piercing damage.

-Edit-
Damn, dice are harsh sometimes.

Male Human Rogue 1

Initiative:
Semenya
Eklektos
Arodio
Derek
Goblin F-8
Goblin E-9
Theron
Del
(reposting for ease)

I'll wait to see what the goblins do before I post my turn, since I'm after them anyway.

Dark Archive

Spoiler:
Goblin D-7 Reflex 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Goblin C-8 Reflex 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Goblin C-8 Readied Attack 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (17) - 4 = 13 Damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2 Goblin D-7 Readied Attack 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (2) - 4 = -2 Damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3

Semenya steps forward reciting her incantation which results in flames flowing forth from her hand almost engulfing the swift moving goblins.
Arodio and Eklektos move forward to defend Semenya, both goblins slashing at them with their dogslicers swinging wildly because of the pain from seared flesh. Arodio swings his flail and hits home knocking the goblin into the adjacent sewage, as Eklektos jabs at the other missing wide.

Goblin at C-8 is dying. I'm going to wait a little bit for Derek's move, then post the goblins.

Male Human (Azalanti) Hp: 96/110, AC: 30 Bard 8/Fighter 4

Derek's move? I've already posted that, moving to A-6 and then drawing a dagger with the off hand

M Human ( Chelis ) Fighter 2

I think DM CH-P means your move in round 2...looking the previous posts you did that move at the end of round 1

Dark Archive

I think Derek is right, sorry. Your move to A-6 is second round. In that case I will post Gobbies soon. Got a tad confused.

Dark Archive

Spoiler:
Goblin TWF Attack #1 1d20 - 6 ⇒ (8) - 6 = 2 Damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
Attack #2 1d20 - 6 ⇒ (16) - 6 = 10 Damage 1d4 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0

The remaining goblin slashes at Eklektos, who easily parries the assault with his spear.

I don't have the capability to do the map at the moment, but will have one up in a little bit.

Male Human Rogue 1

Trusting that the others have the remaining goblin in hand, Del starts heading toward the downed goblin. I think I'd get there on my turn in round 3

Dark Archive

Round 3 and new MAP

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Semenya is going to hold her action, not knowing how many more fights lie ahead of us, and wait to see if Eklektos and Arodio finish off the goblins.

M Human ( Chelis ) Fighter 2

I'll post Arodio's round, if Eklektos does something that cancels it doesn't matter
Since Semenya is being so kind....

Arodio moves in C-7 move action and swings at the goblin standard action

attack roll1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
damage roll (if applicable)1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 bludgeoning

probably it is a miss

Male Human (Azalanti) Hp: 96/110, AC: 30 Bard 8/Fighter 4

Assuming the goblin is still up on Dereks turn and you can occupy the same square as a downed enemy this is the next action.

Derek moves to stand over the downed goblin, twirling his rapier once before stabbing out at the remaining foe.

Move action to C-8 follwed by an attack

Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Oh what a fickle mistress is the dice

Dark Archive

Eklektos, you are up.

Male Aasimar Druid 2

My apologies for being late. Crisis at work has kept me away, but it's handled now.

Eklektos would again stab at the Goblin in front of him, attempting to skewer the creature that's attacking him and those around him, and Theron would attempt to take a chunk out of the same. I do believe I said he would move up beside me into C7 earlier.

Eklektos Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 1 for 1d8 ⇒ 1

Theron Bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

-Edit-
F$#!. Critical Fumble Confirmation, if you use those rules:
1d20 ⇒ 15

No problem. I am actually going to be out of town this afternoon through the weekend, so posting will be minimal. We will pick it back up monday.

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Semenya, seeing her comrades in the area where the second Burning Hands would go if needed, steps back 15' and loads and fires her crossbow, taking a shot at the Goblin in D-7.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

And misses.

Dark Archive

Theron steps up after the other's swings evade the Goblin and bites it across the midsection hard enough to make it drop unconscious.

Encounter over. 100xp each if you are keeping track.

Male Human (Azalanti) Hp: 96/110, AC: 30 Bard 8/Fighter 4

"Right, that's over and done with, let's quickly check the goblins for anything we can use, if someone is hurt speak up, because I got a healing spell. We should not delay more than needed, sounds of combat are likely to travel far..."
While saying this, Derek looks for the mark so that once everything is done the group can be of again quickly.

Male Human Rogue 1

If either of the goblins is on dry ground (ie, Del doesn't have to reach his hands into the muck to fish out the dead goblin), he'll search him quickly.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

If both goblins are dry, or if the first one had something unusual (more than a few silver coins), Del might consider fishing the other out to search him.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

M Human ( Chelis ) Fighter 2

"I'll look around just in case while you other smart people do your searching, let's not delay too much"

Then, like noticing he isn't being very kind "no one is hurt by the way ?"

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Semenya looks at the walls for the sign for which way to go, and casts Message again.

Softly, she says "Del, rifling corpses for silvers is going to be a bad bargain if we get caught."

And with that, she moves on ahead, sliding out of the light and out of hearing.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 Stealth
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 Perception

Male Aasimar Druid 2

"I, too, can do some healing if needed. I shall do what I can to cover our tracks here." With that, Eklektos sets to disguising the signs of their passage. Once that is complete, he moves back behind the party, also out of the light, keeping his eyes and ears peeled. Theron does the same.

Survival to hide tracks: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Eklektos Stealth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Theron Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Eklektos Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Theron Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

-Edit-
Methinks them tracks be covered?

Dark Archive

Each Goblin was carrying two broken dogslicers and leather armor.

The marker is easily found, while Eklektos covers the tracks to appear as if they were never there. Semenya moves on ahead scouting the next tunnel.

Perception Check please Semenya.

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

I was hoping the 17 I rolled two posts above would be useful...

Crap, sorry again. You found the marker.

Male Human (Azalanti) Hp: 96/110, AC: 30 Bard 8/Fighter 4

"Hmmmph, a quick battle, we did not lose much time here, and it seems like nobody was hurt, and we did not expend much resources. Good, let's move on, shall we use the same marching order? Let's give the Hellknights a chase to remember!"

As the marching order is once again assumed, Derek starts to compose a little ditty that he plans to make into a song as soon as they are clear of the sewers.

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Semenya moves on ahead, keeping in touch with Del via Message.

What does she see?

M Human ( Chelis ) Fighter 2

As usual, Arodio walks far behind Semenya and follows the instructions she passes to Del

Dark Archive

Semenya

Spoiler:
Up ahead you can hear raised voices echoing down the tunnel. "Hurry up and get down here, we need to head the traitors off." Another voice responds. "We'll never find them down there. Why waste our time, plus we'll stink." You hear grunting coming from the other person, "Just do it, do you want to get in trouble?" As the last few words echo off, you can hear the claking of armor coming down an access ladder.

They are about 60 feet ahead of you around a corner.

Male Aasimar Druid 2

Eklektos continues to keep eyes and ears on the trail behind them, and continues to try and disguise their tracks.

Female Half-Orc Sorcerer, 7th (Brass Draconic Bloodline)

Del:
Del, problems - they're trying to cut us off down here, they're about 60 feet up. Ask Janiven if there's any alternate route we can go down, otherwise we'll have to fight them.

Semenya presses herself back against the wall. Is there a way to get the party past this manhole cover and intrusion?
