Semenya Carbachon
Final revision of Semenya is up. Her Elemental Spell ability isn't that useful at this level, but will be VERY useful at 4th level...
I've put the magic expendables I hope to acquire at Goremor's on the writeup as well. I deleted the MW crossbow, and bought some masterwork cold iron bolts instead, since they're things I could've gotten from Maddok's shop.
This technically means we can get a MW weapon at Maddok's for Appario of whatever type he'd like to have (but it won't be His Sword, yet) and balance accounts.
1 wand of Magic Missile (50 charges) (750 GP)
1 wand of Enlarge Person (50 charges) (750 GP)
4 scrolls of Magic Weapon (100 GP)
1 scroll of Glitterdust (150 GP)

A tinsy tiny question. How much freedom do i have when writing posts? I mean how much can i advance the timeline? For example, in the post where Granor goes to fetch the kegs of ale, should i have added that they lifted them and came back, or should i leave that for the GM to do?

That would have been fine; I'm not going to try to hinder people's creativity, so if a situation ends up needing to be reined in I can do that afterwards :)

Waiting on Yahirma to hit her marks.
Goremor does some traffic with Hellknights, and makes an overt show of piety to the Asomedean church, but is not, himself, a believer. He just knows he gets less hassling from the Hellknights - and some business from them that would otherwise go to someone else - by making a show of it.
Goremor also has volumes on the history of Cheliax. Some of which are 'out of date', and are thus 'banned books'. Some were "disposed confiscations". Others, he's acquired from people trying to get rid of them before the Hellknights came to visit. Comparative reading of different accounts of Cheliax is a fascinating hobby...

I am open to either the new thread or a continuation of the existing one.
DM Are, at present I have one immediate action ability - the Misfortune oracle revelation - that has to be triggered before the results of the roll (success or failure) are made known. I suspect I will acquire a similar spell or two that will behave in a similar way, though at least one is activated on my turn. How would you like to manage this ability?
Maddok
Are would it be alright if I changed Maddok a bit? When I designed him I did so under the impression that I would need to be suitable on the frontline and as a divine caster. Suddenly there are three divine casters.
Also, it looks like Yahirma and Maddok have similar powers. I'd rather not step on each other's toes/gimmicks.
Yahirma
DM Are: The Juju oracle mystery is from Adventure Path #39: The City of Seven Spears. It is also detailed on the Archives of Nethys site.
http://www.archivesofnethys.com/classesAlternate.htm
Maddok: I'm perfectly happy with having multiple divine casters, as it frees up some of my spells known for more flavorful and situationally-useful spells. When it comes to personal augmentation spells, I am happy to let you and Granor take the spotlight. Heck, I'd be pleased as punch to play an oracle who uses the Druid spell list, particularly since that would give a bit more specialized spotlight time to my fellow divine casters.

I suppose we could set some contingencies for its use, and other people might draw upon it when they're posting. The only personal limitation is that it uses my immediate action, which means I can only do it once per round. When it comes to monsters critically hitting or succeeding at a saving throw that we really want them to fail, I think anybody could jump in and make a good case for shouting "Misfortune!"
DM Are
I sense grave misfortune for my bad guys in the near future :)
Setting contingencies seems like a good idea.
For the bad guys, I suppose 20 on attacks and 15+ on saves would be good uses.
I roll the saves for the good guys, so maybe 7 or lower would call for a use of misfortune for those cases?
People utilizing misfortune on their own for attack rolls and such would be fine with me, but I wouldn't want you to feel like others are stepping on your toes and using the ability at a time you wouldn't want to.

I'd like Goremor to be a recurring NPC.
When the Hellknights confiscate belongings from those who have fallen in arrears with the law, they sometimes sell the less immediately useful and valuable things to him and merchants like him. Somehow when the calls go out to turn in old editions of history books for replacement, Goremor turns over books...but not all of them. He cannot give you the TRUE history of Cheliax; he doesn't entirely know it himself. He can give you several different officially sanctioned accounts with annotations of their...discrepancies.
His primary skills of note are Linguistics, Diplomacy, Appraise, Knowledge (local) and Knowledge (history). He is a capable forger, but doesn't make it a main line of his business; both Del and Semenya have gone to him for altered papers for getting into places where they don't belong. His bread and butter business is working as a bookseller, and seller of antiquities.
He's likely got a couple of levels of Expert, and a level or two of Sorcerer on the Arcane bloodline; he'll use Color Spray to protect his shop. He lives in the upstairs apartment, and uses the Alarm spell to cover the shop for the first part of the night, when hoodlums are about. He is known along his street, and people sometimes come to him to get Light cast on their walking sticks to see them home.
He is assiduous about paying his taxes promptly, in full. He plays chess with two of the Dottari who work his street, and makes regular contributions to their fire-fighting fund. He knows a couple of low ranking Hellknights from having done business with them.
He is supportive of the cause, but not willing to take risks. He won't sell wands or scrolls of fire based spells under any circumstances (he's a bookseller in a medieval city! He's not dumb!). He is deeply hesitant to sell wands that could kill someone directly unless he knows the customer well, largely because it would attract more scrutiny than he'd like.
I'm basing him, slightly, off of the Cardassian tailor on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
From a GMing perspective, he provides a handy way to let us get a Knowledge (history) check or something translated, he's an avenue to get rumors out there, and is a place where we can buy and sell certain things.
DM Are
Let's see.. The leads presented that haven't been followed up on yet was the mysterious woman called "Bluehood" who offered a 100 gp bounty for each killed shadowbeast left behind in a certain alley, and that several caravans had been ambushed outside the city over the past number of weeks.
Both of those leads were given by virtue of rumors Semenya overheard, so Janiven and Arael might not be aware of them.

The post featuring those rumors is here:

Heh, the one trait I forgot to check obviously makes me look stupid :)
Maddok: You should have darkvision 60 ft and evasion when merged. Which evolutions does the eidolon have? "Craft (blacksmith)" doesn't really work as a skill; blacksmith would be a profession rather than a craft. Craft skills that match blacksmith would be "Craft (armor)" or "Craft (weapons)".
Maddok
Ah, I knew I was forgetting a few things.
I did Craft(Blacksmithing) because I was being lazy and that's the way HeroLab offered it to me. I can change it to Profession.
The eidolon has:
+strength
+natural armor
+blacksmithing skill
I'll add those to the character sheet.

We're having visitors today (Saturday), so I don't know how much (if at all) I'll be able to post. I trust there's enough planning to be done amongst the PCs so that I won't be too missed for one day, but if there's a skill check or similar that I'd have to chime in on I might not get to it until Saturday night or Sunday morning.
DM Are
Hama (and others): For future reference, if I ask you for confirmation on an action and you confirm it, I will not allow the change of action afterwards.
The reason for that is that I will start making a post based on the actions that have occurred, and the changed action would perhaps lead to the monster or NPC taking a different action than the one I originally posted. I prefer not having to retcon things, so I'd rather not come into a situation where I'd have to heavily edit my posts to reflect changed actions. That's why I asked for confirmation first :)

Ah sorry, I've been in the habit of checking the OOC thread only once every day or so (it tends not to be as active as the IC thread).
The goggles are based on Eyes of the Eagle from the core rulebook, but they are altered slightly using the standard item creation rules at the back of Chapter 15 - specifically page 550. On the table, note that a competence bonus to a skill can be realized by expending [bonus desired]x100 gold pieces for the market price. For standard Eyes, that would be 5^2 times 100, or 2500. For a +4 bonus it would only be 4^2 times 100, or 1600. As per standard crafting rules, the craft price is half of the market price. I plan on upgrading them full fairly soon, so the partial bonus thing shouldn't come into play for too much longer.
Oh right! I forgot my Hedge Magician. I need to restore 5% of my expended gold... DM Are, please note 40 more gold in my possession than I originally thought I had.
Maddok
I missed the part where Are said custom items were okay. I'll admit I didn't read the whole OOC thread.
I think my first custom crafted item is going to be a weapon that only I can wield. That comes with a discount I believe.
Yahirma
Having skimmed through the OOC thread, I do not believe custom items were ever approved or prohibited. I think my intentions and/or their implications have been misinterpreted in this regard. I am not trying to create abnormally-underpriced equipment by stacking limitations on custom items. Rather, I simply made a transitional piece of equipment that I intend to upgrade to the Core Rulebook version by the time we hit 4th level. In doing so, I merely aimed to have a functional item that I could afford to craft without performing additional, lucrative, and adventurous trouble-making in Westcrown (I am about 150 gp from making the full version).
In the future I may voice ideas for items that combine Core Rulebook item features. These would be subject to DM approval, naturally.
I am concerned that this small show of item design knowledge is opening a can of worms that DM Are may not desire. In crafting what I did, I felt confident that it would not cause any disruptions in party wealth standards or the in-game economy of Westcrown. Let me know if I am mistaken.
DM Are
I haven't given a go-ahead for creating custom magic items. What I have said is that anything not in the Core Rulebook is subject to my approval, on a case-by-case basis.
I have to admit, I didn't realize Yahirma's item was a custom item; I assumed it was from a book, and awaited Yahirma's response to Maddok's question since he asked the same thing I had intended to. That said.. This particular item seems fine, especially if it's eventually upgraded to the normal version.
In future, please ask in the OOC thread before creating items from non-CRB sources, including custom items. Discounts for drawbacks-that-aren't-drawbacks will most likely not be approved, but you can always ask :)
