Eustoma is so happy to have the hostilities end. She is also thrilled to be above ground again. She watches over the negotiations. When things have been settled. She waves goodbye to her friends, and heads with Sia back into the woods.
She spends time building a small farmstead where her family used to live. She invites refugees from the war to start a new town with her. The town of Peaceful grows slowly. Eustoma stays out of the local politics. She takes more of a guardian angel role. Making sure everyone has enough food, and they stay safe.
One day she looks up from a rare visit to the pub and sees a familiar face. It's a halfling with a limp. It's Cirieo. He's come to check on her, and the town of Peaceful. He decides to build an Inn, and settle there. After some time Eustoma and Cirieo marry.
All of her friends are welcome in Peaceful. She keeps a room open at the Inn for them to stay at any time.
After the armistice was declared, Wulfram remained very busy, organizing the peace treaty negotiations. He traveled around Nirmathas, meeting local leaders and convincing them of the wisdom of putting aside old grievances, and building the tenuous new bonds of peace. There were many who did not trust the Ironfang Legion and wanted to continue hostilities. But as much as there were many voices calling for revenge, the nation as a whole was weary of war, and many people welcomed the prospect of peace. Eventually, his role diminished, as the politicians took a larger and larger role in the negotiations.
He kept in regular contact with Rhyna, contacting her by magic every night, although he didn't get to see her nearly as often as he would have liked. Finally, he returned to Phaendar and embraced his love. "Remember when we talked about going on a vacation? I think the politicians are tired of me now, and the peace treaty will be signed next week, I think.
"I've mastered a prayer that can let us turn into mist and fly quickly across the landscape. We could travel to the Varisian Coast and see the ocean; the landscape is very beautiful there, I hear. And there's ancient Thassilonian ruins from thousands of years ago.
"Each night, we can stay in our own private extra-dimensional meadow, complete with a staff of animal or feylike servants. And there will also be the local Varisian hospitality when we want a change."
Pele was excited to be going on a trip. All the negotiations had been sooo boring!

"Nothing would make me happier, Wulfram," Rhyna says. She stands on her tiptoes to kiss the shaman and throws her arms around him. At long last, the pair can be together forever...
Wulfram basked in Rhyna's embrace. He had a feeling that a new wonderful adventure was just beginning.
