We actually had several decent sized earthquakes here in OK, USA last year, and everyone was all freaked out about them despite there being no significant damage or injury.

Last week, a friend who recently moved here from California saw an Oklahoma lightning storm for the first time, and she was completely amazed, while the rest of us just hung out like it was nothing.

It goes both ways.

(Come to think of it, her house was also narrowly missed by a small tornado a couple months back. You can tell I'm from Oklahoma, because I used the phrase "small tornado." Only an EF-2)

I havent been posting nearly as much as I would have liked. Srry for the long absences guys. I took a second job and life have been really busy. I will try to do better in the future.

Here's an interesting question: does darkvision work through a telescope? Does the telescope increase the range of darkvision?

Are we able to recover HPs or class abilities? It didn't sound like we got to rest for all the time needed.

You have had enough rest, (you went to bed early) but not time to prepare if anyone has a class that requires an hour for whatever in the morning.

@DM: As a spontaneous caster I do not need an hour concentrating to recharge my spells everyday. Would that applay also to my channel energy?

I believe so. I don't think you need to prepare channeling.

Yup, undead (and constructs) are destroyed at 0 hp; they don't get to stabilize.

especially the ones that blow up when they die.

I was just playing Dragon's Dogma---a d a random Undead swallowed my fireball and exploded like a lit powder keg.

Ironically I got to s part where you had to infiltrate the cult called Salvation and the Guy in the robe who looks like the Sith Lord from star wars called up a horde of Undead.who ate everyone but me. I actually felt sorry for them.

Oh,and this mob called a giant or whatever I think is an ogre."The sight of women excite it!" Or "It targets women above all else!". It moves a gorilla,has a sliding drop kick move,and grabs you like a twizzler to bite off your head if you can't wriggle free.

We had a flash hurricane on the west coast in Maryland and BVirginia. Or a microburst. I got caught in the wind trying to run to my house after i saw a freakling mailbox getr ripped up and sent careening across a field. i grabbed the base of a small tree and hung on.I think i have whiplash--my neck is so sore.

and this is after i escaped my workplace,when the power went out and the ventilation systems shut down and the wind actually turned my car sideways. I decided to go home--or try to instead of waiting for the building to get whisked away after part of the roof got torn off. I told my coworkers,who didn't have cars and my manager to either wait it out in that shack we call a building or get in the blasted car. They came with me.

Not that badass. I spent most of the day helping a friend make ferrocement rainwater jugs. My part in this was mostly transferring patterns from paper to plywood and bending rebar to match the patterns.

I also went to a baby shower. There were four little girls there between the ages of 14 months and 4 years. That's a little bit like a hurricane, maybe...

RE falling: it would be a DC15 acro check. Since the sand is a yielding surface and it would be intentional drop, fail = 1d6 non-lethal damage... success = no damage.
