I did indeed see this. It changed because I reminded the player to do his Reflex save. So I'm letting the original result of 20 stand.

Kyt, no...

Even in her agitated state, Liesel-Marie could see that releasing the logs would endanger the graceful elf. Dropping the polearm, she takes the greataxe in one hand, braces her other hand on the barricade, and vaults it, charging* into the fray. Her battle cry is followed closely by a sweeping slash of sharpened steel.

I don't know if LM went after the one that Kyt attacked initially or if she went after another one, so I made a judgement call...

With her greataxe in one hand, Liesel-Marie braced the other hand on the barricade, and vaulted it, jumping from a seemingly large distance to enter the fray. She swung her axe at the opponent, sliding her hand along the length of the haft, down to where the throat met the grip near the handle's end. An instinctive move to be sure, one that served to increase the range, speed and power of the bearded axe as she focused on her opponent. The orc in question had no way to react and by the time the Erutaki warrior was standing near Kytynna, the top of its head had been cut cleanly from the rest of its body.

And so, the orc that Kyt had attacked is no more...

From atop the tower that he occupied, the orc skald Kagak could sense a change in the air about him. And though he couldn't see what the cause was, he instincts informed him that somewhere on the battlefield below, there was another who could use music in the way that he could to motivate and inspire their men.

The powerfully built orc flashed a toothy grin as he began to beat out a rhythm on his war drums, dedicating his performance to Rull, the orc god of lightning, storms, and thunder.

This would be a test, to see if the other was truly worthy.

Kagak's Performance check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Music Transition: Strike - Andries de Haan

As Kagak played, he could a subtle interference, a counter to the staccato beat of his war drums. But the orc was not angered by this discovery. Indeed, it only made his boil howl with joy. At last he had a worthy opponent, someone that could offer him a challenge.

Back on the ground, Omast Frum had watched as first the elf, then the warrior woman, took off from their positions at the barricade. He wanted to curse their lack of discipline in the moment, but quickly remembered that they weren't really a part of the town's militia.

Instead, the patrol sergeant let escape a sigh as he walked through the opening that had been made by the rolled, then dashed through the smoke, which upon clearing, Frum saw a pair of glowing orcs. Without slowing down, he continued toward the enemy with the cry, Give 'em what dey came fer!

Patrol Sergeant Frum's greatsword attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
greatsword damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (3, 3) + 7 = 13

With a critical eye for the situation that would have been lacking earlier, the patrol sergeant changed the angle of his swing to perform a quick thrust. Caught off-guard by the new arrival, the hapless orc could not bring its falchion in-line fast enough to block Frum's sword, which pushed through the studded leather it wore with ease right up to the guard, leaving nearly four-foot of metal to exit out of the orc's back. With a grunt of disdain, Frum pushed the orc's twitching corpse off of his weapon.

Looks like I got some work ahead of me tonight when I go to update the map. Rohan, you're up!

Sorry for the oversight. My tactical preference is to pile on damage and take out a foe rather than leave two injured attackers standing - so that's what I would have done, attack Kyt's injured target. Thanks.

Rohan saw the orc play the drums and an evil grin appeared across Rohan face. He dusted off his dark black cloak from the sand and dirt that he is lifting unnaturally around him while he positioned him self for a nice spot to target the man playing the drums. He tumbled very quickly over to the barricade and begin to summon forth a rock to launch at the drummer. "Rohan moves to where the W is on the map by the barricade"

Acrobatic Tumble: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

"Now its time to pay for your crimes against this community"

Rohan said as deeply and as calm as can be; his emotion almost seeming distant from his normal tender heart. Looking towards Kagak he summoned forth the largest possible stone that he could from the ground and a large hand reached up from the earth made entirely of sand grabs the rock out of the air and launches the boulder towards Kagak. As soon as the boulder was launched the hand vanished in a puff of smoke.

Onslaught Blast at Kagak: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

The boulder flew the air like a rock should through the air, thundering through the air almost like you would hear from a missile getting ready to impact its target.

Rohan smiled as he believed his strike to be a near perfect aim, and though that with him down or injured it would reduce the moral of the other orcs.

I've got to say kudos. Rohan's attack was definitely a creative use of the character's kinetic blast. However...

Given the height of the tower (30 feet), Rohan's position on the field relative to Kagak's, and the distance between them, the orc skald benefits from improved cover with regard to the big man's attacks, granting him a +8 bonus to his Armor Class, which would be a miss.

That's assuming you're performing direct fire with Rohan's onslaught blast. I say that because in the scenario you've described with your post, I can see the attack operating more like a catapult, which is an indirect fire siege weapon. Since Rohan is creating the largest stone he possibly could, that would be 15 pounds due to his basic geokinesis utility talent. That's important to know because that would qualify the hand to function similarly to a light catapult, which has a targeting DC of 15. The attack roll is modified with a -6 penalty due to the fact that the tower's height prevents Rohan from having line of sight with Kagak's square. This would mean that he achieved a result of 11, which would still be a miss.

If Rohan's player decides to attempt that again, then he can choose how he wants to go about it through either direct or indirect fire as I've laid out above. But for this attack, I need to know if he's going for direct or indirect so I can compose my next post.

I've received no response either here nor on Discord, and I can't wait any longer. So, I shall rule that Rohan went with the indirect fire method to keep things moving.

Before I put up this post, I'm going to need to roll a d8 to see what direction the boulder veers. A roll of 1 indicates the ammunition falls short (towards Rohan), with rolls of 2 through 8 counting squares clockwise around the target square.

1d8 ⇒ 4

And it's a 4... that means the boulder lands behind Kagak and to his left, close to where one of the other orcs standing near one of Nyym's dancing lanterns.

Should have a post up later on today.

Alright... lets get this going.

Looking towards Kagak, Rohan summoned forth the largest possible stone that he could from the ground even as a large hand reached up from the earth. Made entirely of sand, it grabbed the rock out of the air and launched the boulder towards the orc skald, with the hand vanishing in a cloud of dust.

The boulder flew the air like a rock should as it arced over the tops of the tower's parapets until it reached the apex of its trajectory, where it dropped, whistling on its journey as it got ready to impact its target. When it finally impacted the top of the tower near one of Kagak's squad-mates, the orc was left startled by the outcome. This became even more apparent once the boulder crumbled into dust, then vanished into nothingness.

As that orc did his best to recover from what had just transpired, the four members of his squad that had been sent by Kagak continued their descent down the tower's flight of stairs after pausing briefly during the shaking of the structure. When the group finally reached the bottom of the tower, the orcs readied their weapons and opened the door separating them from the battle going on outside.

They came out just in time to witness the deaths of two members of General Kelseph's forces at the hands of a pair of humans and an elf. The squad-mates exchanged angry glances with one another as they formed a line in preparation of their impending skirmish.

They would not let the deaths of their fellow orcs go unavenged.

And as they prepared to make those three pay for killing their kin, on the other side of the gate, General Kelseph selected six more orcs to follow after the the second group she had just sent in. But before they could set foot on the field, they were given a heavy cylindrical length of wood crudely adorned with handles for them to grab. The general then picked out three more of her soldiers to accompany them. As they had done this many times before, these orcs did not need to be given instructions on what to do. They were just eager to get about doing it.

And so Round 5 comes to a close. Round 6 begins now. I will update the battlemap as soon as possible. In the meantime, Nyym is up.

Dead Bodies: While bodies and prone allies don’t normally impede movement, the barricades and the craggy nature of the inner quarter’s hill create a special exception. A square containing a single fallen orc does not require additional movement, but it cannot be charged through; a square containing two fallen orcs costs 2 squares of movement to cross; a square containing three or more fallen orcs costs 3 squares of movement to cross. If the PCs can cause orcs to fall in particular spaces (such as by taking readied actions that trigger when an orc enters a specific square), the number of fallen enemies can quickly pile up, in effect strengthening the barricades.

Barricades: Two barricades have been set up on the hill leading toward the western gate. The barricades are approximately 3 feet high and 5 feet wide. It costs 2 squares of movement to cross a barricade. A barricade provides cover, but only to creatures within 30 feet of it. An attacker can ignore the cover if he’s closer to the obstacle than his target.

Brace and Reach Weapons: The glaive has the reach special weapon feature, the guisarme has reach and trip, the halberd has brace and trip, the two longspears have brace and reach, and the ranseur has disarm and reach.

Reach: You use a reach weapon to strike opponents 10 feet away, but you can’t use it against an adjacent foe.
Trip: You can use a trip weapon to make trip attacks. If you are tripped during your own trip attempt, you can drop the weapon to avoid being tripped.
Brace: If you use a readied action to set a brace weapon against a charge, you deal double damage on a successful hit against a charging creature.
Disarm: When you use a disarm weapon, you get a +2 bonus on Combat Maneuver Checks to disarm an enemy.

Rolling Logs: Two bundles of logs have been lashed to the western side of the westernmost barricade, one on each side of the road. This timber can be cut loose to roll downhill with devastating effect. Releasing the lashings of one of the log bundles requires two full-round actions (thus, releasing a bundle takes one character 2 rounds, and two characters 1 round; four characters could release both bundles in 1 round). Alternatively, a bundle can be released as a standard action by dealing at least 2 points of damage to the lashings with a slashing weapon. When unleashed, a bundle of logs tumbles down the hill in a 20-foot-wide line, attacking all creatures in its path. A bundle of rolling logs has a melee attack bonus of +15; on a successful hit, it deals 3d6 points of bludgeoning damage. In addition, any creature struck by the logs must succeed at a Reflex save or be knocked prone. The rolling logs stop when they reach the western curtain wall.

Sharpened Stakes: The easternmost barricade is equipped with sharpened and splintered wooden fences that were salvaged from the wreckage of nearby homes. A PC can ready an action to impale an incoming attacker on the fence posts as though readying a brace weapon against a charge. If readied in this way, the fence posts deal 2d8 points of damage to an orc that ends its movement on the barricade in a square threatened by the PC.

The Acrobatics DC to maintain balance across the gate is 10. This also means that Nyym would have to move at 1/4 speed to maintain his Stealth. If he wants to move at half speed, the maximum he can move and still maintain Stealth, the DC would increase by 5 to 15. Meanwhile, down below, unaware of what was transpiring above them, the next wave of Kelseph's soldiers were marching through the portcullis. Unlike the the previous group, these orcs seemed more cautious, taking the time to survey the field before charging recklessly onto it. They immediately set eyes upon the trio of Kytynna, Liesel-Marie, and Patrol Sergeant Frum and the bodies that lay before them.

Ready arms, men! called out the lead orc soldier in Orcspeech even as he drew forth his own weapon, a downward-curving double-edged sword. The others that accompanied him dropped the battering ram they had been carrying and unsheathed similar blades, but made no other move beyond that.

Because Omast Frum has dealt with this sort of thing before and is out there with Liesel-Marie and Kyt, he would be able to tell them that the weapons they're brandishing are called shotel and that they are designed to reach over or around an opponent's shield. In game terms, they grant a +1 bonus on attack rolls against opponents using bucklers, light shields, or heavy shields. The weapons are also useful for hooking mounted combatants and ripping them from their steeds. In addition, these orcs are each carrying three heavy javelins called pilum that are designed so the tips break off and embed themselves into a shield once they hit. Again, in game terms, when a thrown pilum hits its target, it is destroyed like ammunition, but a shield-bearing opponent that is hit by a pilum loses the AC bonuses from that shield until a standard action is taken to pry the pilum's remnants from that shield.

As far as being able to make use of these unusual weapons, the shotel is classified as exotic, meaning special training is required to make proper use of them. Otherwise, they incur a -4 penalty on attack rolls. The pilum, however, are classified as martial weapons, and so anyone with the proper training can make use them (currently, this means only Liesel-Marie and Omast Frum are capable of putting them to use without a -4 penalty to their attack rolls.

Shocked by the quick work made of his companions by the three before him, the orc tried to recover himself in the presence of his new allies and pressed the attack against Liesel-Marie.

Caught as she was in the midst of her bloodrage, the Erutaki saw the orc's wide swing and avoided it quite easily, her patience with regard to this foolish creature all but gone.

The orc bombardier, in the meantime, had already produced a new weapon, a shortbow that he fired at the patrol sergeant.

Orc Bombardier composite shortbow attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

The orc's arrow flew true, impacting with a loud clang against Frum's breastplate. But orc arrows always had a hard time penetrating any armor that came from the forge of Sara Morninghawk, and this proved to be no exception. If the patrol sergeant was hurt it didn't register on his face at all.

Kyt took stock of their immediate situation. To her right were a gang of orcs that had exited the nearby tower, while in front of her stood two orcs from the previous wave while another squad had crossed through the gate. All of them looked pretty formidable and ready for battle.

Well, if it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'll get. The elf assumed an unusual stance, her temple sword held in a reverse-grip so that the blade was in a backward position that left her front exposed. Time we give them what they came for. The last was added with a nod and a wink toward the patrol sergeant, who beamed a wide grin.

She dashed to her right, Kyt covering the short distance between her and the gang that had emerged from the tower in quick fashion. The warrior performed a long sweeping strike....

Temple Sword damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 51d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

The first orc managed to lean back enough to avoid being hit by Kyt's attack. The orc standing next to him, however, proved not so fortunate, the edge of her sword leaving a shallow gash across the face.

Looks like its starting to hit the fan. Mesa, you're up!

Mesa frowned as the music seemed to continue on despite her attempts to counter it. Certainly the drummer's song was not reaching his fellows, but by the same token Mesa couldn't bolster her own team and outnumbered as they were, they needed the boost. Mesa frowned looking up and scanning the battlefield through the splits in the barricade she was hiding behind, looking for the other bard.

It was time to up the ante a little and make things even more confusing for the orcs. This was going to cause some questions at the end of the battle, but they had to live through it first and she wanted all the power she could get.

The 'leather' looking adventuring gear Mesa wore shifted and changed, her black hair spilling loose and falling wild over her shoulders and face obscuring her like a hood. Her outfit changed back to a Kimono like dress, though the sleeves were bound tight to her arms to not hinder her movement at all. Her Shamisen lay across her lap still though her hands left it to pull the dagger from the wooden wall. The back of her Kimono lifted revealing three jet black fur tails, each with the tip wrapped in some sort of tape and bamboo decoration giving them tapered stick like tips.

The tails continued the drum beat as it had before. Mesa grinned showing teeth far too sharp to be human as she lifted the flute sword to her lips, one tail moving to pluck at the Shamisen strings with the bamboo tip, changing the tone and tempo of the song for a new effect.

Atop the tower, Kagak of the Rolling Thunder could no longer feel the resistance from the counter-harmony affecting his music, an outcome which caught caught him by surprise. Had his opposition given up?

Then one of the subordinates of his squad became wide eyed and began to point down at something happening on the battlefield below them as a new tune was beginning to be heard. Then as jet-black feathers began to rain down, he stammered in Orcspeech, The enemy... they've all grown wings.

Though the orc's words caused Kagak to raise an eyebrow in surprise, he did not stop his performance.

Liesel-Marie, like Patrol Sergeant Frum and the other members of Team Ruby felt the feathered wings erupt from her back, spreading out open behind her. But the Erutaki had no time to take in this sudden deveopment as the enemy's numbers were increasing faster than they were able to deal with through one on one combat. With the warrior's fiery blood singing in her ears, the thought of the logs came to mind as a way to inflict the most damage possible to the orcs in one go.

And with that thought came another, one which Liesel-Marie's newly grown wings responded to, using one powerful flap to thrust herself several feet up from the ground. The magically created limbs continued to repeat this process, lifting Liesel-Marie higher into the air until she had risen some fifteen feet. She then banked to face the first set of barricades and dove toward them, turning upside down momentarily before righting herself in time to slash with her bearded axe at the leather lashing holding the bundle in place.

greataxe damage w/ enraged, attuned, power attack: 1d12 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16

With a primal scream, the Erutaki's weapon bit through not only the rope binding, but the barricade itself, but her goal was accomplished as the logs began to roll loudly down the hill's incline toward the wall.

Log Bundle Attack: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32; This will affect final orc from the previous wave, Kytynna, and the first three orcs from Kagak's squad to come out of the tower, who will also need to make a DC 15 Reflex save to avoid being knocked prone.
Log Bundle Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 1) = 7
Kyt's Reflex save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Squad-Mate Reflex saves: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (3) + 0 = 3
Twisted Heart Orc Reflex save: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11

As the rolling logs bore down upon her position, Kyt gave herself over to the moment, her body moving seemingly of its own accord as the elf leaped up and gracefully bounced from each individual piece of timber until they were past her. And though she managed to avoid the overall impact that would have occurred from having the logs collide into her, Kyt's exertions left her feeling more than a little worn down.

Kyt has 14 hit points remaining and is at the Wounded wound threshold. She takes a -2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, nor to AC and caster level.

The same could not be said, however, for the orcs around her as they were swept under the tide of rolling logs. Of the three, only Kagak's squad-mates showed any sign of life when the timber came to rest against the wall.

Kagak didn't the feel the impact, so caught was he in his own performance. The anger, the sheer need to vent his fury and rage upon his foes carried over into the beating of his drums. This in turned had an effect on the orcs below that heard his music, filling them with that very same desire.

Kagak has activated his raging song ability, granting the effects of rage to any orcs still alive on the battlefield.

Taking advantage of the confusion caused from Liesel-Marie's release of the first bundle of logs, Omast Frum dropped into a run that culminated with him swinging his sword at the other survivor from the previous wave, the orc bombardier.

Omast Frum's greatsword attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
greatsword damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1) + 4 = 6

The orc bombardier managed to avoid the diagonal slash of the patrol sergeant, the act causing him to drop his shortbow. While Frum recovered from his short run and brought his weapon back to the ready, his opponent snarled as he drew forth the falchion from its scabbard. But the wily human was quick to react to that move.

Omast Frum's attack of opportunity: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
greatsword damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (5, 5) + 4 = 14

The patrol sergeant's unexpected thrust caught the orc fully in the gut, knocking out the air from his lungs. Looking down at the steel running it through, the orc glared angrily back up at the human and walked forward determinedly, forcing the blade in further to roar in his face.

And with that, Rohan is up.

Rohan nearly screamed in a roar as the wings ripped from his flesh and formed on his back, a sight that scared him more then he realized. The ground beneath him grabbed a hold of him as though he was connected deeply with him as the resonance of the earth echoed in his bones. His toes dung deeper into the ground melding with the footing beneath him, a reason why he always traveled without shoes so he could connect deeply with the earth. Earthwalk He gained control of the wings on his back and they just expanded to the full with of there existence and then rohan gain insight to his next approach.

After witnessing the amazing strike the Liesel made he planned to do the same but this time with some aid to his friends if he could spare the extra attacks. He stretched to the full size of his body with the massive wings upon his back and yells at the top of his lungs in a deep a booming voice:

YOU ALL WILL DIE TODAY I FEAR NOT OF YOU

Then immediately after doing so he reached out to the right of him as though he was going to grab something and began ripping the side of massive bolder off and launching a round disk much like a buzz saw blade from the rock towards the other bundle of the rocks straps, hoping to break free, then sending two more buzz saw as large as they could be for a 15 lb blade along the path of the tumbling rocks to help direct them somewhat closer to the center of the opening in the wall defense.

Second damage to redirect flow of logs to center: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

The blade spun out and into the logs with such force it nearly caused the logs to spin out in the immediate direction that rohan wanted but it wasn't enough, as the logs went tumbling down he would continue striking the logs as they bumped into the air one after another hitting them while they were slightly raised in the air to push the force of the logs down the right path into the doorway of the walls defense.

Using his perception to key in on direct points to keep it moving in the direction he wanted.

First thing... interesting tactic. This one really had me thinking about the best way to go about seeing if it works. But, I think I have a solution.

Rather than rolling damage to see if it alters the course of the logs, I'm going to need Rohan to make two rolls to see how well (or not at all) he accomplishes the task at hand.

These rolls will be concentration checks, with the DC being equal to 10 + the kinetic blast's spell level + Rohan's Constitution score. That comes out to being 26 (the spell level of a wild talent is 1/2 the kinecticist's level, and kinetic blast is a wild talent). The roll will be modified by Rohan's wound threshold (fortunately for him, he hasn't taken any further injury beyond the nonlethal damage for burn).

How well he does on these two rolls will determine whether he succeeds at his stated goal, as that will help me when I use the splash damage matrix to determine where they'll end up at.

Good luck, Rohan!

And thanks for the bot, DM - that was such a cool visual. Do we still have the other effect that Mesa created in effect?

Well, the kinetic blast wild talent is kind of open to interpretation when it comes to using fluff to describe it.

Kinetic Blast Class feature wrote:
"As a standard action, the kineticist can unleash a kinetic blast at a single target up to a range of 30 feet. She must have at least one hand free to aim the blast (or one prehensile appendage, if she doesn’t have hands). All damage from a kinetic blast is treated as magic for the purpose of bypassing damage reduction. Kinetic blasts count as a type of weapon for the purpose of feats such as Weapon Focus. The kineticist is never considered to be wielding or gripping the kinetic blast (regardless of effects from form infusions; see Infusion), and she can’t use Vital Strike feats with kinetic blasts. Even the weakest kinetic blast involves a sizable mass of elemental matter or energy, so kinetic blasts always deal full damage to swarms of any size (though only area blasts deal extra damage to swarms). A readied kinetic blast can be used to counterspell any spell of equal or lower level that shares its descriptor. A kinetic blast that deals energy damage of any type (including force) has the corresponding descriptor.

So, you could describe it as a literal blast that is shot from the kinecticist's outstretched hand, or you could flavor it up much like Rohan's player does (which kind of makes him more like a power ring wearer in DC comics, i.e. Green Lantern), so long as he abides by the restrictions imposed by whatever infusions and utility talents that may be active on the blast at the time that he uses it and doesn't get too out of hand with it.

Rohan's player is limited in another way with his kinetic blast, due to the archetype he has.

Onslaught Blast wrote:
At 1st level, whenever the onslaught blaster uses their kinetic blast, they fire multiple blasts. The damage of these blasts is equal to 1d6+1 for physical and 1d6 for energy blasts. They can fire an additional blast for every 2 kineticist levels past 1st. Each unique target hit takes additional damage equal to the onslaught blaster’s Constitution modifier for physical blasts and 1/2 their Constitution modifier for energy blasts. The targets of each attack are decided before any attack roll is made. If the onslaught blaster applies a substance or form infusion to their blast, it applies to all blasts. Against a single target, they pool together their attacks into a stronger blast. Each successive blast in the attack sequence is treated as a single attack. They do not roll multiple attack rolls and any effect such as spell resistance, damage resistance, and effects from feats such as Deadly Aim is only calculated once. For every two blasts beyond the first which target the same creature, the target takes an additional +3 damage for physical blasts and +1 damage for energy blasts. An onslaught blast cannot have any form infusion which reduces the range of a blast, emulates a melee attack, increases the amount of kinetic blasts you can make (such as flurry of blasts), or the many throw infusion applied to it. If an onslaught sniper chooses to throw an object with telekinetic blast, they can only throw a single object.

So he has to work within the limits established by his version of kinetic blast, but as long as he does that, I'll work with his descriptions as best as I can.

Just thinking out loud for the moment, but does Liesel-Marie's flight range reach the tower where the drum player is performing? She doesn't know Nyym's closing in on his position, so she might consider providing some personal criticism of the drummer's style.

Rohan's player is dealing with a sick daughter at home, and so has been unable to post. Therefore, I'm going to do his rolls... just not in this post, as I wanted to answer LM's question.

So, the flight is based on your movement rate, which for Liesel-Marie is 30 feet due to the no bonuses limitation. She also can't "run" using this, and have to both be in sight of and able to hear the performance. Based on this, she could get there, but it might take her a couple of rounds to cover that distance.

Also, to answer the previous query you had, once Mesa gave you guys the ability to fly, the tentacle mass effect came to an end.

AHaaha I am here for the rolls

So Rohan focus in on the final blow to the logs to make it veer towards the center of the wall but it required additional focus that he was unprepared for.

concentration checks: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
concentration checks: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Trips first: 3d10 ⇒ (2, 6, 6) = 14
Trips twice: 3d10 ⇒ (2, 2, 5) = 9

Rohan focus just wasn't up to par with his approach though he hopped that he fixed the logs somewhat in the ball park of where he had planned for it to go.

Alright, let's see if we can figure out what's going on with the logs. First, let's roll that d8...

1d8 ⇒ 6

Looks like we got a 6. Going around clockwise from the target grid intersection that many spaces would send the bundle towards Kytnna. However, I'm also taking a cue from the siege weapon rules and rolling a d4 as well. So let's see how that helps (or doesn't...

1d4 ⇒ 3

Looks like we got a 3 from that roll. This will alter things quite a bit, as that 3 is the number of squares by which the attack misses, with the direction in which the squares are counted determined by the d8 roll. Going around clockwise from the target grid intersection once we know that the logs are off by three squares will get us this description....

Rohan reached out to the right of him as though he were going to grab something and began gesturing, his action first forming, then launching a rapidly rotating toothed disk towards the other bundle of logs, hoping to break them free from their bindings. He then sent two more stone serrated disks along the path of the tumbling logs to help direct them somewhat closer to the center of the opening in the wall defense.

However, it seemed that Rohan's focus just wasn't up to the task he had set for himself. The second stone disk spun out and into the logs, knocking them off of his intended path with such force that he knew the bundle would overrun not only the patrol sergeant, but his Kyt, his teammate, as well. This caused him to direct the third disk to the other side of the logs to slam into the largest piece of timber several times, using the force exerted to veer them away from endangering his allies and much closer to the path he had envisioned, which had been right into the doorway of the walls defense.

In the end, however, Rohan managed to steer the logs from rolling over his friends, he failed to put them where he had wanted them as the bundle came to rest at the base of the tower that had been the roosting place for Nyym.

That was a lot of work to have them end up pretty much where they would have gone had Rohan not done what he did. But, the sight of that taking place does have an unintended consequence...

While the orcs currently on the field are not totally frightened by what they just saw, they are more than a little scared. As a result, they will be taking a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks as well as a -4 penalty on saves against fear effects. Because let's face it... that was some freak@$$ shiznit they just witnessed with that second bundle.

Across the field, two of Kagak's squad-mates had been knocked down and were pinned by the logs that had been released by Liesel-Marie. The other pair had fully intended to take down the agile but seemingly tired elf. However, the sight of the second bundle moving eerily shook them to their core. Never the less, they closed in on their foe.

Due to the logs impeding their movement, it will cost them twice the normal movement to reach her, but that doesn't really mean much considering she's not to terribly far from their position. Thankfully, even though they're getting a "zenkai" boost from Kagak, Rohan has somewhat countered it this round by giving them that -2 penalty on their attack rolls.

Kagak Squad 1 falchion attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 +2 due to rage... -2 due to being scared.
falchion damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 11
Kagak Squad 2 falchion attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 +2 due to rage... -2 due to being scared.
Kagak Squad 2 critical confirmation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 +2 due to rage... -2 due to being scared.
falchion damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 6 = 12

Yikes! Kyt only had 14 hit points remaining, and she just got hit for 27 (11 and 12 direct, with an additional 4 from the crit). This would indeed normally kill her by putting Kyt at -13. However, the DM made a mistake with regard to an earlier post, specifically where I cited that she had made her Reflex save against the rolling bundle of logs. At her current level, Kyt has evasion, which means that she shouldn't have taken any damage from that at all, rather than the half that she took. Taking that into account, this puts her back at 21 hit points and at the Grazed wound threshold, not Wounded. It also means that Kyt is at -6 hit points, as opposed to -13. Next round, on her turn, she must make a DC 10 Constitution check to become stable; Kyt has a -6 penalty due to her negative hit point total on top of her -3 for being in the Critical wound threshold, for a total penalty of -9. This means that in order to stabilize and not lose another hit point due to bleeding, she needs a 19 or 20 on the roll.

Kyt knew she was in no position to deal with the two orcs making their way toward her. However, she wouldn't give them the satisfaction of backing down and so the elven monk stood her ground as the two launched their attacks. She brought up her sword, but the first of Kagak's squad-mates knocked the weapon aside and landed a hit that knocked the wind out of Kyt. Knowing she would not be able to bring her blade back in line to prevent another hit, Kyt glared defiantly at the second orc as its falchion came across her body and sent up an enormous spray of blood as it connected.

Kyt dropped to her knees, her nerveless fingers releasing the weapon that she had been holding as the monk brought them down to hold in her innards that threatened to spill from the wound caused by the orc that now loomed larger than life over her. The monk fell into a trance as she began to mumble in Elven under her breath.

This brings an end to round 6. Things aren't looking good for Team Ruby's resident monk. However, she has 4 rounds until she bleeds out and dies. There is also the matter of the two orcs standing over her as well. If anyone is planning to rescue her, they will need to be dealt with. Otherwise, I see a coup de grace in a certain elf's future. Round 7 starts now. Nyym, you're up!

Down on the battlefield, the orc facing off against Patrol Sergeant Frum found itself being forced back by the human's unrelenting assault. It was time to create an opportunity, not so much for itself to be able to fully capitalize on, but rather for the newly arrived Shieldbreaker Brigade.

Orc Bombardier falchion attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24; A hit, and possibly a critical one; but with the -3 penalty from being both at the Critical wound threshold and being Staggered, plus the -2 penalty from being scared... drops that 24 down to a 19. Still a hit and still a possible critical.

Holding its sword with both hands at the right of its waist the orc bombardier launched its attack, a two-handed spinning sword slash consisting of a single upward diagonal slash from right to left. Unprepared for this level of skill from an orc, the patrol sergeant, with his own weapon trapped in the orc's body, was unable to prevent the hit and, with a grunt, received a gash across his left arm that began to bleed furiously and mix into the sweat of his exertions.

The effort also had the effect of dislodging the bombardier from the patrol sergeant's weapon. But as more of its life-blood began to pool at the orc's feet, it was clear to Frum that this creature was beyond caring about its on well-being, that in its mind this human needed to pay the price for impeding General Kelseph's conquest of Trunau.

Not too far away, Kytynna remained on her knees, both hands clutching at her midsection, conjuring up images of the past 24 hours, time spent with the other members of Team Ruby, in an attempt to marshal the necessary resolve to remain in the fight.

She hadn't given herself wings, opting for the tails instead, but she could change that as need be, right now staying low and avoiding being noticed by the orcs was parmont as she made her way towards the monk, though she couldn't make it there until the next round.

The Minkai musician moved from the safety of the second barricade so that she could attempt to render aid to Kyt, but knew it would take time for her to get there. Time that the mortally wounded elf did not seem to have as the two orcs stood close by, intent on sending the downed monk off the mortal coil.

However, Liesel-Marie had other ideas.

The Erutaki took the most direct path she could to reach her teammate and when she arrived, her demeanor left no doubt as to the amount of suffering she planned to visit upon these enemies. She descended and immediately dispatched the first of the two orcs from Kagak's squad, leaving only the one who had inflicted the grievous wound upon Kyt. Their eyes met and that orc, who had felt just a tinge of fear before, was thoroughly shaken by what it saw there.

The promise of death.

Thanks to Liesel-Marie's 'incidental' demoralization, the orc has gone from scared to frightened. On its turn, it must move away from any source of fear it perceives (namely, a certain Erutaki Warrior Princess). Once it can no longer perceive any source of fear, the orc can act as normal, but still takes all the penalties of the shaken condition ( –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks). It can use special abilities, such as spells and equipment, to flee and must resort to such abilities if they seem like the only way to escape. If it flees and the source of its fear reappears while still frightened, it must immediately begin fleeing again. If unable to flee, it can fight.

My apologies for the delay, but between working out a new development and the changes made to the site itself, it took a while to get back. But here I am, and here we go...

Atop the tower, Kagak reeled from Nyym's vicious flurry, but it wasn't enough to prevent him from maintaining his performance. But because he knew that this flying insect needed to be dealt with. He dropped his sticks, but not before he played out nine sets of three beats. Kagak then backed up a step even as he undid the bindings of the battleaxe that he carried. With a snarl on his lips, the orc skald took a swing at Nyym. Free action to maintain performance; free action to drop drum sticks; move action to draw weapon (does not provoke AoO)

Kagak's battleaxe attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 -1 due to Grazed wound threshold, +1 due to inspired rage
Battleaxe damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Though the half-drow knew that there would be some kind of retaliation for his attack, even Nyym did not expect the sheer speed and brutality of Kagak's strike, as the edge of the orc's axe left a slight furrow across the lacquered leather of his breastplate. Were it not for Kagak's drums being between them, Nyym knew the bruising he received would have been a lot worse.

Due to the 5 temporary hit points that he had remaining, Nyym only takes 2 points of damage from Kagak's strike. This puts his hit point total at 25 and leaves him in the Healthy wound threshold, and as such, takes no penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, nor to AC and caster level.

Down on the battlefield, though his hands trembled, Patrol Sergeant Frum sought to end the threat of the orc that he faced.

Omast Frum's greatsword attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Greatsword damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 = 12

The desperate nature of the situation increased the tremor in his hands, which in turn caused the grizzled veteran's weapon to miss wildly with his attack and left the human somewhat overextended as his mind began to race wildly. Was it due to fear or a need to drink that brought about the shakes he currently experienced?

But before he could come up with an answer, there was a brilliant flash as a shaft of light broke the dark clouds overhead, illuminating the entire area. The brightness lasted only a moment, and when everyone's vision had adjusted, Liesel-Marie was quick to notice a new presence on the battlefield.

Standing next to her was a tall, powerfully built Mwangi man with dark, almost black skin and bright blue eyes. His face and head were clean-shaven and he bore a scimitar on his hip. He carried a shield and wore a breastplate, vestments, and a cloak, all done in blue and gold colors. Most notable was the silver angelic ankh displayed prominently around his neck.

Character Theme: Kryptonite - 3 Doors Down

And this is the new development that I spoke of earlier, for we now have a new player joining the fight. His place in the initiative order has been noted for this battle, and the map has been updated to to account for this. In the meantime, those of you on the battlefield that have Religion as a skill or wish to make an Intelligence check can do so to determine what the silver angelic ankh around the newcomer's neck represents. DC 10 for those with Religion, DC 15 for those making just an Intelligence check.

Success!:

The angelic ankh is the holy symbol of Sarenrae, goddess of the sun, redemption, honesty, and healing.

Please keep in mind that the +1 bonus to any d20 roll from Liesel-Marie's theme is still in effect. In the meantime, Rohan, you're up!

Due to the time the post was made, I made a calculation error with regard to Kagak's attack. He received a +1 competence bonus due to having the rage power accurate stance active as part of his inspired rage. So his calculations should look like this:

There seems to be a time skip taking place with regard to the initiative order, so I'm handling it thus: Mesa's movement and healing attempt won't take place until her initiative next round. Anything else with regard to role-play happens as posted. I might have caused some confusion when talking to the player in private, so my bad people. Not sure if that's why Rohan hasn't posted his action yet, but I'll find that out soon enough. Otherwise, carry on!

LOL! Your post was fine, Liesel-Marie. It was role-play. I was just making it clear that it wasn't Mesa's turn to act yet. After Rohan, the orc shield-breakers will get to act after an inadvertent round of inactivity on my part, then the members of Kagak's squad. We already know what one will do. Rohan took this time to embrace his full height of 7'11 a giant of a man coming to a massive stance which almost looks to be the earth embracing him at his feet but it was actually his natural form. His body looked to be covered with a hard crusty stone color reminding you of a stone giant, though he was much too short to be one. His cloak fell to his side in a hard shift stance, he brought together both of his hands and what look like a massive clap, and while the sound had no ill effect it sounded like thunder, perhaps it was just catching the beat of the drums at the right moment. With his action, a large palm shaped hands slammed at Kagak trying to push him back into his fellow brethren.

Well, first things first... let's see if Rohan's onslaught blast pushes Kagak.

Rohan's CMB check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8; Due to being a kineticist, Rohan uses his Con modifier (+2) rather than Strength modifier (+0)

Rohan's roll of 8 does not overcome Kagak's CMD of 13, so the push from his infusion doesn't happen. However...

The orc skald's eyes widened as a large stone hand appeared moments before slamming unmercifully into it. The forceful impact rocked the massive musician, not only nearly knocking the orc from its feet but attempted to push it back. Its stubborn refusal to go down combined with its zealous devotion to General Kelseph to keep Kagak from moving despite the force exerted by Rohan's stone hand.

But that strength of will did nothing to halt the substantial damage done to him by the human's creation. Kagak coughed, dark blood spewing from its mouth from the spasm, before collapsing atop the tower, its dull eyes gazing at the drums that were once his to play.

The damage from Rohan's attack dropped Kagak to -11 hit points. Next round, the skald gets to make a DC 10 Constitution check to become stable; Kagak has a -11 penalty due to his negative hit point total on top of his -3 for being in the Critical wound threshold, for a total penalty of -14. This means that in order to stabilize and not lose another hit point due to bleeding and die, Kagak needs a natural 20 on the roll.

It also means that Rohan has taken another 3 points of nonlethal damage that comes from accepting that point of burn. This should put his total hit points at 26, putting him at the Grazed wound threshold, and as such, he takes a -1 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

Down on the battlefield, the captain of the shieldbreaker troop smiled as it counted out the beats that Kagak had played. When the last of the third set was done, the orc barked out a new command: Envelope!

Both columns began to move, parting around their leader to encircle both the patrol sergeant and the bombardier. Two from each column faced out while the others faced in, all with their weapons at the ready. The orc captain moved past its subordinates and entered the newly formed ring. As it neared the bombardier, the captain lashed out with its shotel.

Shieldbreaker Captain Shotel Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Shotel damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Much to Patrol Sergeant Frum's surprise, the attack wasn't directed at him, but instead at its ally. The bombardier's head flew free its neck and shoulders, its face frozen in a surprised grimace.

You will face me now, ooman! The orc captain spoke in a thick and heavily accented Taldan. Your death won't come at the hands of a beast, but by those of a true warrior.

Patrol Sergeant Omast Frum hawked, then spat at the feet of his new opponent before replying. One. Seven. Your whole damned army. Don't matter none to me how many ya brung. I'll give all of ya what ya came fer!

Back atop the tower, Kagak's squad-mates felt the vigor from the skald's music leave them. That, combined with the sight of their fallen leader, forced them to act. One drew a javelin from a quiver while the other began to move toward Kagak.

Kagak Squad Javelin attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
javelin damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

The javelin, thrown as it was by Kagak's fellow squad member, never came close to hitting the half-drow. But the act gave its companion time to reach the prone form of their beloved leader and launch the javelin it had drawn at Nyym.

Kagak Squad Javelin attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
javelin damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Even with the short distance between them, the second orc's javelin failed to hit Nyym.

The second orc atop the tower stands 10 feet from Nyym, with Kagak's body between them. The first orc has yet to move from its spot.

Two members of Kagak's squad down below, having been knocked down previously by the logs released earlier by the Erutaki warrior, struggled to regain their feet while the fifth immediately turned and fled, trying to put as much distance as possible between it and Liesel-Marie as it headed back toward the tower it had emerged from.

Orc five of Kagak's squad has withdrawn from battle; thus it does not provoke an attack from either Liesel-Marie or Nogusta.

This brings an end to Round 7. Round 8 begins now! The map will be updated to account for what has happened. In the meantime, Nyym... you're up!

Nyym's attack sent pain all throughout the orc's body, only its unrelenting fervor keeping it upright in the face of this foe. The orc eyed the winged half-elf, its vision blurring as the corners of its mouth turned up in a knowing smile.

Insert Song: All the Stars (Instrumental) - Kendrick Lamar feat. SZA

Down below, General Kelseph, worried about the shaft of light and what it could portend, directed one of her beast-tamers to release one of the animals that had been held in reserve. The creature, an immense lizard, moved with a slow relentless gait, ropes of drool hanging from its toothy maw, as it attempted to climb the tower.

Monitor Lizard Athletics check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

The lizard's powerful limbs strained with the effort, with the help of the long talons ending at its feet, it began the climb to top, covering two-thirds of the distance with that initial effort.

It wouldn't be long before it arrived where it sought to go.

On the verge of drifting beyond the point of no return, Kyt fought to remain in the moment. But her mind took her back to the inner eye focused on the faces of Liesel-Marie, Rohan, Aodhán, Mesa, and Nyym.

Kyt's Constitution check: 1d20 ⇒ 20; +1 from the use of the bonus provided by Liesel-Marie's theme song and a -10 penalty, which would technically put the elven monk at a 11 total, but as this was a natural 20, it's an automatic success regardless. Kyt has successfully stabilized, keeping her hit point total at -7 and no longer in danger of bleeding out.

That ends Kytynna's turn. This is where Mesa would normally go, but since her action was mistakenly declared in the previous round, that is what's taking place now...

Nogusta did not know the story of what was going on, but he knew enough to know it was a time for action. He thought about the people of this strange town, and in less than a second, overlapping images crossed his mind in rapid-fire succession as he imagined the townsfolk and remembered his own village.

Two small children were chasing each other through the streets, laughing and pretending to be mighty dragonslayers. The sound of their play was interrupted by the horror of the guttural war cries of the orcs as they burned and slaughtered their way through the town…

We were running through the jungle, just within earshot of the village. Little boys armed with sticks, pretending to be great hunters after the mythical Bagh-kahn. The sounds of screams pierced the air, followed by barked orders and laughter as the Consortium slavers set about slaughtering the adults and capturing the children in weighted nets…

His mind flashed back to reality, to the here and now. No. Not here. He thought.

He knelt beside the injured elven defender.

There is still a fight to fight, warrior. You are needed.

A warm, golden glow surrounded the Muwangi’s hands as he touched Kytynna’s wounds. The glow spread from his hands to envelop the elf.

Nogusta's cure moderate wounds gives Kyt a total of 13 hit points. This brings her back to being conscious and puts her at the Wounded threshold. She takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks, as well as to AC and caster level.

Liesel-Marie, you're up! The +1 bonus provided by her theme song is no longer in play.

For my movement I would like to...

After the elven woman is healed, Nogusta steps forward, interposing his large, armored form between the orcs and the wounded Kyt, attempting to prevent them from attacking her in a prone position.

Nogusta, you may need to drag her back from the ring of orcs surrounding the sergeant and his dueling partner. To that end, Liesel-Marie shouts at the new arrival, "Pull her back!"

Liesel-Marie will deliberately cross the distance two squares to her left. Not a charge, just a move.

Stalking toward the orcs next to the tower, murder clear in her near-crazed eyes, the barbarian lets loose with a terrifying (I hope) howl as she tries to decapitate the nearer of the two. Attacking the "north" one.

Intimidate, if possible: 1d20 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 - 1 = 4 Wounded penalty

Greataxe: 1d20 + 7 - 1 ⇒ (11) + 7 - 1 = 17 Wounded penalty
Damage: 1d12 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22

In my haste to update the initiative order, I forgot to take into account the number of certain assets at my disposal. Having realized this error, the orc beast-tamer and her dogs have been removed from the initiative order. However, that did allow me to bring into play something else...

The savagery heard with Liesel-Marie's cry came through with her attack on the orc from Kagak's squad, the blade of her weapon blasting past its defenses and through its studded leathers to rend the flesh beneath. Her body splattered thoroughly with the blood of her enemies, the Erutaki cut quite the fearsome image as she stood over the corpse of her latest victim.

But she had no time to enjoy her handiwork as a howl from the gate caught her undivided attention. A tall, armored and gangly female giant with a thick hide of mottled blue, protruding yellowed canines, narrowed slits for eyes, and large, powerful hands that ended in wicked claws, crashed through the smoke at the gate, its helmeted head darting to and fro in search of prey. As its gaze settled on Liesel-Marie, the troll's jaws began to salivate even as it ran its tongue across sharp white teeth while lumbering with explosive speed toward her.

The troll moved 10 feet through the gate, then charged diagonally toward Liesel-Marie, effectively eating up her movement while placing the troll in front of the Erutaki and beside the sole remaining member of Kagak's squad on the ground for a pounce. The map will be updated to reflect this.

Flood troll's claw strike 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11; +2 due to charge.
claw damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Flood troll's claw strike 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11; +2 due to charge.
claw damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Her reactions taking over, Liesel-Marie easily evaded the claws swipes of the enraged giant. A giant that looked strangely familiar to her. She soon learned why.

Warrior! the troll called out to the Erutaki. You face now Gharr, sister of Ghaer!

The troll's halting speech brought to Liesel-Marie's mind a battle in the tunnels beneath the Plague House, where she and her companions had faced a duo comprised of a troll like the one before her and an orc berserker earlier.

Below is the updated initiative order. Interestingly, despite having a +8 bonus, the on-site die roller gave her a roll of 1, putting Gharr at the same place the beast-tamer would have been in the order.

Nyym: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Twisted Heart Monitor Lizard: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Kyt: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Mesa: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Nogusta: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10
Liesel-Marie: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Gharr: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Kagak: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Omast Frum: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (7) + 0 = 7
Rohan: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Twisted Heart Shieldbreaker: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Again, the map will be updated to reflect the changes made. But right now, it looks like Rohan is up!

I am sure to regret mentioning this, but shouldn't Gharr's higher initiative bonus put her ahead of Liesel-Marie in the initiative? Or is she where she is because of when you introduced her to the battle?

Because of where and when she was introduced.

Rohan could see that some assistants was needed to help kyt and the new man who had entered the combat in our aid a warm welcome at that. Rohan jumped over the gate with a quick motion to move closer to get within 30 feet of the people attacking the new guy Nogusta. The jump was quick and nothing flashing just trying to close ground to improve some of his attacks and hit a few more then one.

Acrobatics to leap and tumble over the defense wall: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Once over the wall he quickly moved in position and summoned up 3 rocks from the ground that darted forward like little missiles in the air and slammed on or around the intended orcs.

Onslaught Blast: 1d20 + 9 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 9 - 1 = 26 "Grazed penality of -1"
Orc 1 Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Orc 2 Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Orc 3 Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Rohan intention wasn't as much to kill the guys though he wouldn't mind it if that happened but to grab their attention and get them off of kyt.
