Upon reaching the middle of the room Sashah, with the light from his hat, gazes on the walls with excitement. This is definitely the first time this trip that he has been this highly excited. Immediately thereafter (likely before combat is even over) he blindly reaches into his pack behind him with both hands, pulls out a parchment and small coal cylinder, rushes to the walls, and begins recording everything enthusiastically.

Anton wipes the blood off his sword and looks to the passage on the east wall of the cave.

"It seems there is only one path before us. These kobolds see perfectly well in this gloom, we'll need to maintain our lights... they'll be able to see us before we can see them. We must be on our guard."

He then takes up a position next to the opening for the exit, keeping guard while the others attend to their business.

Readying an action to cut down anyone who comes out of that opening.

I do not have a great Perception, and Scram should be up front (maybe behind Anton, then I will be behind him, though technically, he can be in my space?) so that he can disable whatever traps we may find. Uriah is the only one of us with darkvision... Other than that, i am good with the marching order.

The group moves forward through the tunnel forgoing stealth for light sources. It doesn't take long before the group is reminded how devious these kobolds can be.

Anton's cautious steps reveal a pit as a well concealed tarp drops away below his foot. Anton DEX save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 His monk training allowing him to easily shift his weight onto his back foot and he easily avoids the trap. The others have no problem clearing the five foot by five foot hole in the ground.

As the cave opens up into a room of sorts and light pours into the new area the group realizes they are not alone.

This room has a few ratty-looking crates as well as a small table. A handful of various tools and other items lay scattered on the table beside what appears to be a handful of improvised caltrops and a table on the northwest wall appears to contain a small alchemy set. A hallway leads to the west and to the southeast.

Four kobolds are here watching the entrance in which you enter. They seem aware of you but only just barely able to prepared to deal with you. Two of the kobolds have flasks from the table that sits behind them and they lob them in the party's direction as if they were waiting for you to enter.

Sashah continues to to peruse his notes, while Ravvek and Raiden rush into the room. Raiden swings his large sword at the creature and it just barely ducks out of the way. Ravvek's blade sinks home and dispatches one of the kobolds who threw flasks. While distracted, Scram rushes in and swings with his shortswords at the kobold Raiden is engaged with and connects with his secondary weapon but the creature still stands.

The remaining kobold that threw a flask at the party looks terrified and disengages away from the large human with a sword while the other reaches for a bag on its belt. He chucks the bag at Ravvek's feet and cackles for a moment. The bag tumbles over and a few wasps fly out immediately, after a few tense seconds more and more begin to fly out of the bag. It seems the melon size bag must have a nest in it of some sort and Ravvek is surrounded by the owners of that nest.

Uriah moves into the room so he can see the target of his wit. When he sees the kobold facing off with Ravv alone he mocks it viciously.

Raiden swings at the wirey kobold once again and misses... once again. Ravvek plunges his sword into the kobold and slays it.

Scram is awake, he needs to stand up and possibly end the fight if he can finish this little sucker off. Otherwise prepare for more damage to be delt by the bad guys!

Scram chokes and sneezes on Sashah's beautiful, flowing beard, springing to his feet and attacking the first non-beard thing he sees...

Scrimsax artfully dispatches the remaining kobold in the cave. The din of battle settles back into the occasional drip of water and heavy breathing from those that were just in combat. The room is fairly well lit with the light spell on Sashah's hat. The table in the back of the cave seems to still have a flask or two salvageable.

Searching each cave takes roughly ten minutes, so I need to know if you plan on moving forward or searching the room. I will also need to know when you move on, which way will you be going. West or South East?

Sorry for the absence, the wifi at the hotel was atrocious. I tried posting something and updating my hp, and the thing crapped out and I lost the post. :p But I am back now!

Ravvek shifts his armor uncomfortably, giving the wasps space to settle and leave, as the swarm starts to disperse and calm. Knowing better than to rile them up again.

Anybody hear that? Are they crawling through the walls or something? Secret doors? Be ready! Ravvek works things out aloud and draws his bow, scanning the walls for secret doors or holes that they may be able to attack through!

Zayless tosses the iron bars to the beefy types to spread the weight around. He tosses the healing potion to Scramsax. "Stay standing." He holds up the emerald. "Anybody need this for spells? Its prob 20-25gp. We can keep it for the split." He puts it in his pouch.

I think its funny that this hasn't come up in character. If I read the Dragonborn names correct. They put the clan name first. I'll answer to either name but Myastan is the clan name.

Apologies. I did notice that you were using Zayless as your identifier. I wasn't sure why and forgot to ask about it. I will do so from now on.

Zayless also finds on the alchemy table 1d6 ⇒ 1 additional pre-made flask. type: 1d6 ⇒ 1 It seems to be a semi thick green gooey substance.

Its absolutely fine. I figured it would come up in character at some point. Ensign Rowe was Ensign Laren for a few episodes before the ship learned Bjoran naming customs. I know I know I'm an old nerd.

What IS that? Raiden has his sword at the ready. Would have put any iron bars in his pack before doing that.
