He gets to calculate it like this:

CMD = 10 + Base attack bonus + Strength modifier + Dexterity modifier + special size modifier (+0 for Medium-size creatures) + miscellaneous modifiers.

Miscellaneous Modifiers include: circumstance, deflection, dodge, insight, luck, morale, profane, and sacred bonuses to AC to its CMD. Any penalties to a creature’s AC also apply to its CMD. A flat-footed creature does not add its Dexterity bonus to its CMD. But not armor or shield bonuses. Heh, heh, heh.

CMD is like AC. So you only have to equal it to land the maneuver.
The raging Iso, sensing he has the swordsman on the run steps after him and continues his assault.

The rat tries yet again to taste the sweet sweet flesh of the noble. His jaws coming back empty-handed, the rodent promptly looses its footing and falls in the wizards conjured goo.

Cautiously moving a bit closer, Manathiel calls out. "Keep it up Iso! I have faith in you!"

"Banana se coace!" he cries out, making a broad circle in the air with his hands. A brown translucent light forms in the air and travels towards their enemy, becoming substantial just as it drops upon the ground, covering the area with a think, slimy goo.

That last hit from the barbarian is enough to end the man but

Then he realises the tiefling is underneath the pile.

Collapsing in exhaustion Iso lets a tear run down his cheek.

"Iso has wand of demonic healing. Maybe that would help demonic friend." he says, pulling it out and offering it to someone who knows how to use such things.

I am able to use the wand (Assuming you refer to Infernal Healing) mark off the number of charges you desire used.

heal check on Farith (heal kit: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

Then assuming there is time, she...

tosses sanctuary for cure light wounds for Iso: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Takes survivors aside to channel her positive vibes into them four times: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 2) = 8

Iso was down to 7, with an extra ten temporary hp. Iso is a very big bag of hp, but poor AC.

Iso looks sadly at the deceased Tiefling, and shudders as the infernal healing takes hold of him.

"Maybe Farith not demonic enough. Iso was told demons vanish when they are killed." he notes points to the body.

"So either Faith is not dead. Or not demonic." he looks proud at his use of inductive login. Even if the stress of battle seems to have knocked his work for the mission from his mind for the moment.

Looking at the bodym Chalfon’s onyx ring is emblazoned with an
icon of a dark, wispy flame. A DC 20 Knowledge (local)
check identifies it as an emblem of the Shadow Lodge.
Any PC wearing this ring gains a +4 circumstance bonus
on Disguise checks to impersonate a member of the
Shadow Lodge.

After defeating Chalfon, the PCs can make a DC 20
Perception check to find Muesello’s items that were taken
during the raid, successfully completing the mission given
to them by the venture-captain. With these key pieces of
evidence missing, the Pathfinder Society can no longer be
linked to the Dawnflower Blossoms. Further exploration
of the Dalsine home uncovers Chalfon’s diary, which canout war, both Qadira and Taldor factions recognize that
their respective heads were manipulated by the Shadow
Lodge, and the Grand Lodge helps smooth things over,
ensuring that all members of the Pathfinder Society
maintain a level of cooperation necessary to end the
Shadow Lodge threat once and for all.
