Allyph moves up to the priest and stabs at him.
While Baer double moves toward the remaining priest, Quorthos quickly moves toward the western doors and readies to cast burning hands on anyone coming through the doors.
Allyph closes the distance to the priest again and stabs him in his chest, finally dropping him.
Tural gives himself another tap with the wand of cure moderate wounds and closes a large portion of his wounds.

After the frantic screams of bloody murder, Denario grips his morningstar, and readies a strike in case something would pop up near him.
"Heads up, we've got an incoming visitor, and she's invisible."
"Doesn't matter to me Denario. Where you at? I'll be right there."
Mavor moves towards the sound of the voice of Denario and slowly passes him by and in the hopes of blocking off anyone that might try to get past. He heard Quorthos ran by and go down the stairs at the other end. So this might be a good spot.
Denario and Mavor prepare for a crazy woman to pop up near them, but it stays awkwardly quiet.

Baer, unsure there is any rush, much less what is happening, delays.
"So...what is going on?"

"I can only speculate, but i reckon we're going to get one pissed off woman to attack us, given the frantic screams over that guy we beat."
"What is she screaming about? Did she get a look at Mavor's face?" Baer asks, wondering how and where the attack might take place. "Should we check out these others rooms while we wait?"
Quorthos pulls a thunderstone out of his pouch and lobs it into the area in front of the doorway.
Each creature within a 10-foot-radius spread must make a DC 15 Fortitude save or be deafened for 1 hour. A deafened creature, in addition to the obvious effects, takes a –4 penalty on initiative and has a 20% chance to miscast and lose any spell with a verbal component that it tries to cast.
Denario and Baer aren't sure what to do, but Quorthos decides to throw a thunderstone at the door opening. There's a loud bang where the thunderstone lands, but no reaction to it.

Mavor walks slowly but in a steady pace, making himself as broad as can be, walking towards the stairs and goes down.
If she's anywhere in his way he'll stop and slam his greataxe into her.
If not, he'll take up position to hinder her getting up the stairs.
Allyph has no idea what to expect and goes total defense.
Mavor slowly moves toward the door while assuming total defense. Allyph also goes total defense, but stays where she is.
Tural heals himself back to full health with a tap from the party's wand of cure moderate wounds.
"GAAAHH!! IMMA KILL YOU!!" screams the elf that suddenly pops up behind Tural and plunges a dagger in his back. She wears a joker's costume, her face is painted white, and she grins like she's just escaped from the loony house. "YOU WILL JOIN MY LOVE SOON!!"

"Oh...we've got a harlequin on our hands."
"Mavor, 5 feet forward, then turn left and go 15 feet.
Turn left again and go 30 feet. She'd be on 10 o clock then."
Denario moves towards Mavor, and casts Brow gasher on his axe.
"Say 'gash' in orcish, and an enchantment will discharge from your axe when you hit her."
"Can't move that far Denario. You'll have to redirect me later again."

Baer double moves towards the weird woman.
Geez woman. Try to have some pride. You're dressed like a Varisian whore.
Quorthos can't conceal his shock at the person who appears. "A.. a clown? An insane clown?" Shaking his head, he moves to get a clean shot and hurls his dagger at the freak.
Allyph moves in the direction of the crazy elf harlequin and jumps over the railing. While falling Allyph tries to stab the elf.
Allyph lands a bit awkwardly, spraining her ankle. "Ouch!"
Denario moves toward Mavor while giving the latter instructions, and casts brow gasher on Mavor's greataxe.
Mavor and Baer both move toward the crazy elf as fast as they can.
Quorthos hurls a dagger at the insane clown. The dagger hits its mark, but doesn't penetrate as deeply as Quorthos might've hoped.
Allyph moves in the direction of the crazy elf harlequin and jumps over the railing. While falling Allyph tries to stab the elf. Allyph's attack misses and she gets stabbed in return, after which she sprains her ankle as she lands.
"You crazy! Hahaha!" the crazy elf yells at Allyph, and laughs insanely.
Tural steps away from the new enemy and uses her evil eye hex on the elf, after which he starts chanting.
The elf staggers when Tural's evil eye takes effect.
She then tries to stab Allyph a second time, but Allyph dodges the attack.

Mavor moves carefully in the direction of the sound of Baer's staff.
"She here Baer? Guide my axe!"
"Guide your axe? That's what your arm is for, Mavor!" Baer retorts, angry at her own misguided swings. Despite her annoyance (and her fear that Mavor's axe will find her backside by mistake), Baer talks Mavor closer to the clown.
Denario quickly walks along the catwalk, and casts acid splash at the harlequin.
Quorthos uses the last of his arcane poolto dimensional slide behind the harlequin. "You seem too angry to be a clown," he states matter-of-factly. "Maybe you should calm down and we can talk about it."
"Not meant rude, Mavor, but I'm sure glad I'm not standing next to you..."
Allyph stabs at the crazy clown.
While the mad harlequin dodges absolutely every attack thrown at her, Tural tries to use his misfortune hex on her while he continues to chant. The hex doesn't affect the elf, but the effect from Tural\s evil eye is extended.
While letting out a scream the elf stabs Allyph again. "HYAA! You're all fools! You cannot kill me! You're going to die and my dear Rolth will come back to me!"

"Rolth? That name is familiar," Baer says to Mavor. "Mavor? Isn't Rolth that prick that I skullf@#&ed with my staff in the other room? Yeah, I think he was buggering a corpse because he said he preferred that to his current squeeze." Baer mentions in irritation.
Baer accepts the flank and begins to try to hit the clown in earnest.

Quorthos stiffles a laugh at Baer's profanity, trying to remain coldly serious in the face of... the evil clown. He manages to keep his composure, and casts shocking grasp (triggering an AO from the clown).
If she takes the AO and hits, he discharges the shocking grasp in his armor.

Baer gives the elf a couple of good whacks with her staff, meanwhile offending the elf and upsetting her even more.
"I'm going to carve d**** on your face when you're dead!!" the elf yells at Baer.
The crazy woman's then hit by an acid orb from Denario. "Argh!! On yours too!"
Quorthos's casting provokes an attack from the elf, who stabs him in his arm. The elf makes contact with Quorthos's armor and electricity courses through her body.
"Aaaaaahh!" she screams in an oddly ecstatic fashion, after which she gives Quorthos a creepy smile. "You know how to push the right buttons, my dear... but Rolth did it better."
The comment completely shatters Quorthos's concentration, and his spell fizzles.

Allyph takes another stab at the crazy elf, but the harlequin's sudden masochism weirds Allyph out and causes her to miss.

Tural keeps chanting while he taps himself with the party's healing wand, and heals himself back to full health.
The harlequin takes a big step toward Tural and Denario. She reaches into her pocket, pulls out a vial, and drinks it while provoking attacks from both Denario and Baer.
Baer attacks the elf, but misses. Denario then plants his morningstar in the harlequin's face and knocks her out before she can even drink her potion.

Allyph sheaths her rapier and places a hand on her bleeding wound. "Baer, could you give me a tap with the wand of infernal healing?"
Quorthos sighs as the jester falls. That... was close. Collecting his wits, he grabs some rope and ties her up. "Tural, can you make sure she doesn't die, yet? We'll ask her questions once we're out of this place." He turns to the others.
"There are still other doors... but I know I'm pretty stretched at this point. We could take this one, and probably learn what we need from her. We can always come back - the vampire will probably still be here. Or, we can push on and try to clear the last few doors. What do you think?"
Baer huffs and puffs, gripping her staff tightly as she expects more angry clowns and purple priests to arise any moment. Eventually, she calms enough to help Allyph.
"What do you think?"
"Boy, I think we should take a moment to recollect ourselves, then press on. Might be more survivors down here."
"Say, that was a pretty good fight, wasn't it? Mavor did you see Allyph stabbing? She was...oh...oh...nevermind..." Baer says, forgetting something that she should have remembered.
"Well, lets see the loot we got and if there are any more survivors," Baer says, trying to change the topic. She goes through the loot but takes none of it. She is then ready to move on after others are ready.
"Boy, which door next?"
Tural nods to Quorthos and casts stabilize.
"Tie her up, we could heal her to get her back to consciousness but I think we'll need the healing ourselves. Besides... Not fond of the woman screaming at us again..."
He grabs the potion the woman was about to drink and hands it to Allyph.
"You seem to take quite some damage in combat. Take this and use it when I'm not able to heal you."
He renews the life link bonds and is ready to move on.
"Quorthos..did you just say vampire?
There is one here?"
"Vampire? No where the hell is that sucker at?"
Quorthos flushes, realizing he didn't pass on some critical information. "Oh, um... yeah. So, that room over there, that I checked out... that the priests were looking in... well, there's a guy in there, really old, with the teeth and the nails and the "look into my eyes" stare... he's apparently just a hired researcher, and he was happy to ignore us kicking the priests around as long as we ignored him. He seems to have no love nor loyalty for the disease cultists."
It sounds a bit strange, now that I say it out loud... was I under his power?
"So, if the other doors contain similar, uh... threats, that maybe we need to go get Mavor's blindness healed before we come back."

"I'm still raring to go Quorthos. No one is safe from my axe. Yes... I mean that literally, but mostly our enemies. As long as we can go on here, we should go on. We need the information and we might not catch another lucky break to get into this place."
Baer opens whichever door holds the 'vampire', eager to get this nest of fiddlesticks and drudgebones cleaned out.
"C'mon, let's get done with this."
"If he wanted to ignore us, that's his own business.
But since he's worked with these freaks, he's just as bad."
The bravery here amazes me. I hope it is justified, and not just foolhardiness...
Quorthos nods, drawing a flask of alchemist's fire, and indicates the northern door as the one where the vampire was.
Allyph looks a bit confused at the potion Tural hands her. "Uhm, thanks, but I don't need it. I can cast invisibility spells myself."
You all head onto the catwalk and up to the northern door, which Baer opens.
An elegant operating table dominates the center of this grim laboratory. Crossed with iron restraints and encircled by a gore-encrusted gutter, the macabre device sprouts various cranks and levers, and is large enough to accommodate an ogre. Along the walls stand several tables strewn with all manner of alchemical accoutrements, their contents appearing old in the extreme, with rusted iron tools, beakers of purpled glass, and deep pools of wax from countless melted candles.
A young and unconscious man, barely older than twenty winters, lies upon the operating table, bound by its heavy restraints.
An old man with gray skin and red eyes, wearing doctor's clothes, stands next to the table. The moment the man opens his mouth to speak you notice his fangs. "Well good day, and welcome back young tiefling. It seems you're done fighting. Good. I'll let you know I have no love for fighting. To those I haven't met yet, my name's Ramoska Arkminos. May I have the pleasure of knowing your names as well?"
"Uhh... Hi...? I'm Allyph..."
Okay... I didn't expect a polite vampire.
"Castor Valerio."
Power in knowing names, i once heard.
I'll not have this old man know my name.

Mavor asks as he feels around for his silver greataxe.
