Briar 5' steps forward into K16 and trains his bow at 'K'.

"Is it you?" Briar asks as he fires the blunt arrow to the man's stomach.

Barael moves to M-16, disappointed that swords are drawn. We've got numbers, but the HarrowCast doesn't have it's aura yet. An example is what we need. He proceeds to swing his rapier at M. "Which one is Verik?"

B swings on Dandilion and connects this time as he holds his ground a grim look of determination on his face. M also stays where he is to prepare a future flank, presses his attack on Fondo and connects undoing the healing that Charlie just laid down.

Dandilion's mutagen SAVED her last round and she was not hit.
B & M are without their shields as they were working. Poor bastards...

Nikolay steps up on B and connects (barely) letting him know his mortality is nigh. Briar shoots again, but this time his shot goes wide of the mark. Charlie too shoots into the fray, and likewise fails to find his target. Barael lets M know that his setting up a flank was a mistake by criting him for 13.

You see K leave and you hear him swearing in the yard as he can't get out of the gate. P however is not so flighty and moves up (carefully to avoid AoO) behind Fondo (to P-16) and strikes him for a little more damage!

They continue to press their attack in silence, but no longer the silence of the winning, but rather the silence of the desperate.

Nikolay swings wide and distracts the guard. Briar moves into the room to reposition himself. Charlie heals Fondo a bit. Barael deftly dodges under the swinging hammer of his foe, but fails to connect when he's finally in position.

You hear K fumbling with the door outside, and P mutters about the lameness of his ally Malder (presumably 'M') as he swings on Fondo. Just as things seemed to be settling down though, Verik appears in the doorway and surveys the room as his aid-de-camp steps up behind Nikolay. Verik says, "All this fighting is useless, We have you surrounded, just lay down your weapons and walk away quietly. There is no need for further bloodshed."

Nikolay lands a solid hit on the guard dropping him though his acid splash goes wide and hits the vat. Briar makes a good solid nonlethal hit on Verik. Charlie just misses Verik with his ray. Barael steps up and takes away P's hammer! A pretty good round for the party.

Verik, clearly unhappy with the turn of events, switches targets and takes aim on the wide open Briar and connects. A continues to press his attack on Nikolay though he's looking a little weak. P growls unhappily, but draws his longsword 5' and attacks Barael though he is slightly less effective then he was and so misses. B bleeds a little more.
