Martino's arrow thuds into the rubble in front of the goblin while Tanrov's dart solidly strikes him in the face, grievously wounding the little pest.

Crouched, Rurik exhales and tries to steady his crossbow to finish off the goblin before it can raise the alarm.

Light crossbow attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 Presumably the goblin is flat-footed.

Light crossbow damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8 (if it hits)

Garidan gets to his feet and moves up the stairs looking about and waving the others forward.

Rurik's bolt silences the goblin before he can shriek and he falls over dying.


Larko hustles to the east, crouching low to take advantage of some rubble for cover.

Mimazaran may take an action, the goblin is dead, or more specifically dying and no one has a view of any other hostiles yet.

Unsure of whether or not the goblin was actually felled, Mimazaran crept his way over to where it was, keeping an eye out for other goblins that might have been nearby while also trying to make sure that it didn't get up. If he saw it was still breathing, he would look over to the others to see what they wanted to do, not sure if he had it in him to finish the job if he had to.

Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Garidan flashes back to their rescue mission against the Hell Knights and the little gnome he found hiding in the bushes. He looks around for Mimazaran and heads in his direction. "Mimazaran, can you disguise yourself to look like a goblin? Would you be willing to scout ahead of us a little bit? It will be dangerous, but we'll never be very far away. If you get into trouble, just drop the disguise and retreat back to us."


Although there are no current hostilities, here is the Round 1 recap:

Martino - Attack from hiding to miss.
Tanrov - Swaps to dart and critically wounds goblin.
Garidan - Moves forward.
Rurik - Drops goblin with a crossbow bolt.
Larko - Moves to cover the hole in the wall.

Martino emerged from behind the boulder, and began approaching the stairs.

Tanrov approaches the dying goblin and uses his magic to prevent him from bleeding to death. From futher back in the ruins he hears an alarmed shout in goblin.

Goblin Shouting:
"Intruders! Kill the tiefling, protect my, I mean, OUR treasure!"

Whitechin Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Goblin Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Garidan can retcon if he desires, as Whitechin goes a little before him. The other goblins won't be ready to act until the top of the order on Round 3.


From the back of the wing of the inn that Tanrov is standing in, a corpulent goblin emerges sleepily from behind the rubble. He shouts angrily upon seeing the tiefling, grabs a potion bottle, and consumes the contents.

Garidan, Rurik, Larko, Mim may now act in that order.

Garidan retreats down the stairs, back out into the field, and takes cover behind a fallen pillar. Waving the others up, he shouts "Tanrov, be safe, we're coming!"

Larko stealthily moves forward toward the stairs, intent on covering the main entrance.

I keep forgetting Larko is there, doh! Sorry for the hold-up. Mim may act before the goblins muster to fight the invaders, er, heroes.


Mimazaran darts from behind the boulder to hunch down behind a fallen column, keeping up with the team while staying concealed.

Two goblins appear behind the large sinkhole armed with shortbows. They chatter and take aim at the group.

A small band of four goblins moves across the main floor, heading to support their chief.


Round 2 Recap

Martino - Moves toward entrance.

Whitechin grins, anticipating the fight to come. He retrieves a potion from beneath the counter and drinks the contents. His skin seems to thicken for a moment. The goblin chief screams a war cry.

Move action to retrieve potion, standard to drink. Garidan, Rurik, Larko, and Mimazarn are next up.


Inactive

Seeing the goblins rushing out of the ruins and Tanrov ahead of the party, Garidan rushes forward and takes cover behind some fallen boulders. "Keep firing on those goblins!" Garidan shouts.


Double move north east.

Seeing the danger gathering, Rurik calls for the aid of the Dawnflower once more (bless, which unfortunately won't get to Tanrov as he's too far away).


Larko, using the fallen pillar for cover, targets and fires at one of the goblins across from the chasm, but misses.

Mimazaran stays low, moves to stay close to the others and hides behind some rubble.

Stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19


Round 3 Recap

Several goblins move to help their chief, while two others shriek as Larko's arrow attracts their attention. They rush towards the attackers taking cover behind rubble. One of them menaces Garidan with his dogslicer.

The two goblins across from the chasm fire their bows. Between the range and cover, neither comes close to striking their targets.

Garidan retreats a few steps from the goblin and swings his bill at waist height, hoping to decapitate the small foe.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19 The goblin probably has cover.
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

There are some stock goon-goblins near enough for you to melee, moved you to the nearest one.

Tanrov's weapon smashes into the wall and takes a huge chunk out of it.

Martino's action shouldn't affect Whitechin, so I'm going to have him act.

The goblin chieftain snarls and foams at the mouth, then walks confidently to Tanrov and swings his horsechoppa at the tiefling.

Melee w/Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

His weapon barely misses Tanrov.

Garidan's bill skips off the boulder beside the goblin, spraying sparks everywhere.

In the interests of keeping moving, I'll list my action now, though it won't go until after Mart.

Rurik steps slightly closer and launches another bolt at one of the goblins.

Moving diagonally up-right so I can have clear line of fire to the goblin nearest to Garidan.

Crossbow attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

The bolt skitters off the rocky ground harmlessly.

Martino snaps off a shot at one of the goblins rushing toward Garidan.

His shot strikes the goblin in the leg. The creature snarls at Martino and turns his attention toward the ranged attackers behind the fallen column.


Larko takes aim at the goblin the Martino wounded and launches an arrow at the foul little beast.

Longbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4

The goblin is struck solidly in the chest. Blood pours from the wound and froths.


Mimazaran sees the goblin isn't giving up and forms his hands into a crude dog shape. From behind the goblin, a shadow rises up and snaps at the goblin's heels.

Cel Shadow Dog bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

The goblin's random stumbling causes the creature to miss.


Round 4 Recap

Goblins - The goblins mostly make attacks at various groupings, the rest move into position.
Martino - Attacks from range, striking a goblin.
Tanrov - Attacks goblin, missing.
Whitechin - Move into position and attacks Tanrov, missing.
Garidan - Attacks goblin, missing.
Rurik - Attacks goblin with crossbow, missing.
Larko - Fires his bow at a goblin, striking one.
Mimazaran - Uses his Shadow Conjuration ability to summon a celestial shadow dog, dog attack misses.


The two goblins across the chasm fire at Larko and Martino.

Their arrows skip harmlessly off the rocks.

The grievously wounded goblin adjusts his position to flank the dog with his ally and attacks while muttering in his language.

The shadow dog disappears in a puff of smoke and the goblin collapses from blood loss.

The other goblin moves closer to Garidan and attacks with his dogslicer.

He comes nowhere close to hitting his target.

The goblins ganging up on Tanrov hack and slash at his legs.

Melee w/Flank: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Two of them strike the tiefling, one being a lucky blow, the other goblin almost looking like he knew what he was doing, however both only scratch Tanrov.


Tanrov's blow knocks the air of out Whitechin. An audible crack tells him that he broke several ribs with the solid blow.

Martino's shot catches the goblin in the chest and he sinks to the ground dying.

Whitechin screams goblin obscenities and snarls. His muscles bulge and he swings his horsechoppa with disregard for defense.

Melee vs. Tanrov w/PA, rage: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

He misses the tiefling with a blow that looks like it would have severed a limb.


Inactive

Tanrov is surrounded and needs help. Garidan hastily moves over behind Tanrov and attempts to help him out. He swings his bill low at one of the goblins pinning Tanrov in, hoping to distract him from the tiefling. "Tanrov, fall back after your next swing! Don't let them gang up on you" he shouts.

I wondered who we were waiting on, then realized it was me.

Rurik stows his crossbow and moves into the ruins, advancing to try to help Tanrov.

I've moved 30' on the map. Takes my standard to stow the crossbow, and I don't have +1 BAB yet so I can't draw the scimitar while moving.


Larko takes aim at the goblin nearest him and fires.

Bow attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

His arrow flies by the creature's face. Larko curses and draws his scimitar.


Mimazaran slinks low behind cover. He's never fired his crossbow at a living being and he's not sure if now is the right time. He readies the weapon but prepares to cast his vanishing spells if the goblin comes his way.
