Will Save+Surge: 1d20 + 9 + 1d6 ⇒ (10) + 9 + (6) = 25
Only through the greatest force of will she stands her ground. However that instance of fear that gripped her forced her to dig in deep, grabbing onto the form that would give her the strength to fight. The same form that allowed her to stand against Taralaxian himself. "Come to us!"
Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Venetia Medvyed |

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
"Ma'am, we will protect you, please stay behind us." Venetia says ushering the woman and her child to get behind them.
Will: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
She then points Rupert's sword up at the dragon daring it to come for her.
I'm starting not to like this archetype, it's not immune to fear, it doesn't grant a bonus to fear saves for allies, and the smite replacement just sucks.

Szymon Wojcik |

mythic surge to will save: 1d6 ⇒ 5
Szymon trembles in frightening presence of the black dragon forgetting the advancing the redcap, evil fey. Then, from somewhere deep inside where he had never experienced initiates a warmth of confidence. The feeling dissolves the withering fear and steels himself. He draws his sword and closely looks at the mother and child. In these days of nightmare and craziness, he expects everything not to be what it appears.

Arv glances over his shoulder at the allies joining the fight, and then to Danath... with a grin.
"Perhaps today I claim another tail!" Arv unfurls the green scaly tentacle rooted to his chest.
He then takes his sewing needle from his belt pouch, and grasps it between forefinger and thumb as he strafes into position.

Edeldhur |

Bear with me guys, first time playing a full blaste :D
Will Save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Edeldhur is able to whitstand the vision of the mighty dragon in the distance, and focuses on the immediate threat before them.
Knowledge (Nature) for those humanoids: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
Knowledge (Nature) for the Dragon: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Seeing the dozen or more creatures approaching, and the dragon in the distance, Edeldhur tries to deal with the immediate threat as quickly as possible, knowing that if the dragon closes in, they will be in real, serious trouble.
Still amidst the chaos, he warns the others - "Beware of the woman! It may be a trap nonetheless!"
It would be important to know how far the creatures are from us, but anyway:
To the small humanoid creature at his side, flapping its leathery wings, whose usual mischievous smile is by now gone at the sight of the dragon, Edeldhur whispers - "Zraaz'ktar , dosst lueth fre'sla qee. Ka jala del mina ul'plyr udossa, kl'ae dosst pholor ussa, tiu obok lueth kr'athin lil"
"Zraaz'ktar, draw your wands, and stand fast. If any of them reach us, use your Blur on me, fly high and wait for further instructions"
Then, with a flick of his wrist and a few practiced, magical gestures, while holding a rod in his left hand, he conjures a glowing, pea-sized bead that streaks from his pointing digit, sailing across the area that separates them from the rushing creatures, and the running woman, to erupt amidst the charging creatures into a gigantic ball of flame.
Casting Empowered Fireball, using Selective metamagic rod if necessary not to affect the fleeing woman, but would rather target it in such a way for it not to be needed and save uses on it if at all possible;)
Empowered Fireball (Reflex Save DC21): 9d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 6, 1, 6, 3, 3, 3) = 36 -> *1.5=54 damage
Additional note: If the Knowledge roll above shows some particular vulnerability from the part of the fey, Edeldhur will change the spell element accordingly, as per Admixture specialization.
Additional Note 2: Can we assume we have any cast spells? For example, Arcane Endurance allows Edeldhur to cast Mage Armor at effective level 11, extended to 22 hours - this is something he usually does in the morning.

You are still on time to change it

The mother and the young child look panicked and disheveled. But not hurt.
About your new found powers, like the Mage armor, they are new. Not, you have not casted them yet.

Janus Sevenstar |

We'll say that Janus used a Channel and used Mythic Selective Channel to avoid healing anyone who didn't need it and to make it "mythic" as well. I'm counting Kiritta, Szymon, Edeldhur, and Arv as undamaged, so 2 * 4 = 8.
Channel Positive Energy: 4d6 + 8 ⇒ (5, 5, 3, 1) + 8 = 22
Will Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Mythic Surge: 1d6 ⇒ 6
At the sight of a big, hulking black dragon, Janus thinks about running for his life, but then he recalls going toe-to-toe with a certain Hellknight who carved up an even stronger wyrm with little trouble. Seeing Edeldhur nuke several redcaps with a single spell only strengthens his resolve.
"I'll keep everyone healed, so kick it's teeth in!"

Kiritta Narvagoth |

I will use a Mythic Surge if necessary, but if Danath begins an Inspire Courage, this will have Kiritta, Szymon and Janus all make the saving throw. Also, if Venetia changes to straight Paladin, we will all make it as well without any Surge.

Ni'Tir and Chimalma |

Danath will be using Inspire courage, his phone has no internet and somehow mine does, but internet is out at our remote camp. So... "If he has to use a Hero Point then do so so we don't slow things up." Per Danath himself.
The joys of working in a remote oilfield. :P The snow blows and the internet goes out lol!
Hopefully will update our posts later and get back into the action. Assume for now, Ni'tir and Danath hang back to defend the core of the group and inspire courage.
It's not the heroic thing we invisioned but to forestall the game is worse, so please don't think less of our two characters lol. :(

Where do Edeldhur send the Fireball to?
Ok, next round, your characters go first!
Kiritta Narvagoth |

Based upon Ni'Tir's last post, I assume that Kiritta, Szymon and Janus did not need to use Surge Points. Please let me know if we needed one. A single point from Inspire Courage would be enough to get all three of us from 19 to making the DC20.
After getting over her momentary fright, Kiritta looks at her companions.
Close ranks, I can speed up seven of us. Edeldhur and I probably do not need the extra speed.
Kiritta then cast fly on herself.

Edeldhur |

@Corsario: Edeldhur's Fireball is aimed at the central group, since I guess it is his best chance to catch as many as possible. Aimed in front of that redcap in the "triangle" formation, I think it will catch 8 out of possible 9. Dang! I need a way to increase fireball radius :D
Hmmmm, I could use Haste, but I guess it is best used on the martial types indeed Kiritta
Before continuing his actions, Edeldhur addresses the others - "Friends, I believe the central group should be almost done with, a few well placed arrows should be enough to finish them- Kiritta, are you blocking or somehow impeding one of their groups? Could you take care of the leftmost one? This will allow us to focus on only the group on the right, and perhaps we can dispatch them promptly, and focus our attention... On the Dragon... I wonder what his intentions are..." - he tries to organize the group.
"Also, we CANNOT stay packed in a tight group, we NEED to spread, or a single breath from that formidable one will get us all"
For sake of coordination, and if Corsario agrees, this is only part of Edeldhur's actions. I will do the rest - moving and probably casting - after the others have reacted.

Szymon Wojcik |

Since you're allowing some retcons, can Szymon have drawn his longbow instead of his sword. The bad guys are quite a bit further than I imagined. Also, where the mother and kid?

Kiritta Narvagoth |

I was considering casting Black Tentacles. Unfortunately the area here is huge and the distance very large. I also have several Pit spells.
With Wild Arcana, I can cast several more Black Tentacles to encompass more area which will defend our flanks.

Yes you can. The Mother and child are between Kiritta and Janus. Check the map.

Kiritta Narvagoth |

I can put them there, but 170' is still about 40' short of either side group. If I drop them short, then they will simply walk around them. I was hoping to wait a round, in which I cast Fly to buff and get out of the area. Next round, they should still be close together and close enough to get a bunch of them with black tentacles.

Edeldhur again warns everyone regarding movement - "We need to MOVE, we cannot stay piled up. Combatants move ahead and spread, casters and supporters stay back, but still spread. Kiritta start thinking how you are going to keep that dragon off our backs for a few seconds" - he jests even amidst the chaos of the confrontation.
"Uum ta sii" - he addresses the small creature, and it promptly approaches his master to lay a touching hand on him.
"Do it now"
Zraaz'ktar casts Blur on Edeldhur, then flies slightly up and a tad back.
Edeldhur moves to the left a couple of feet, then launches another fireball, aimed at the rightmost group from his perspective.
Moving 30' to the left, targetting the group in front of the Dragon with an Empowered fireball.

As the Mother and child find safety in their lines he raises his Longsword in defiance at the oncoming horde of evil looking creatures. With a powerful shout he rallies his allies who appeared to be flagging. Bolstering their courage just enough so that they stood their ground against the onslaught that they now faced. He misses both shoots, but he thinks the one he shot earlier, now closer, doesn't seem very affected.
It's not a boulder, but a tree.
Arv Akul'mar |

'Aye... it takes a great deal to get through their defenses without cold iron! And wait to strike... once you are in position, wait for them to come to you." He thinks for a moment...
"Danath... these foes are highly mobile. Perhaps a 3 2 defense? Szymon and I hold a second line to protect our 'robes'?"

Edeldhur |

Initially taking a step forward, Edeldhur conjures his newfound powers, and in fact tapping upon that unique strength that lies within those called heroes, to bestow a protective ward upon his companions - "Friends, you now have added protection against Acid, it will help, but it will still not be enough to deter all the strength of his attack - stay alert!"
After doing so, he does decide to shift his positioning to the left, making sure they are not piled as he had suggested before.
Using that hero point then Corsario, and also a Mythic Point and Wild Arcana to cast Resist Energy, Communal - dividing the 70 minutes between us all, it should grant Acid Resistance 10 to all during 7.8 minutes approximately.
As he moves, his form blurred from the previous spell cast by Zraaz'ktar, he again urges his familiar - "Thrityh lil xuil lil. Plynn mina harl!"
"Attack the weakened ones with the wand. Take them down!"
The small creature, hovering above his master, fumbles with one of his wands for a moment, then points it towards one of the most wounded Redcaps, shaking it madly, and screeching.

He shakes and twists the fragile item, but no effect is produced, while Edeldhur simply smiles - "Ol zhah natha screa'in Zraaz'ktar, dos orn inbau gaer"
"It is a learning process Zraaz'ktar, you will get there"

Edeldhur -- Actually, it should be 90 minutes and Acid Resistance 20. It increases to 20 at level 7 and 30 at level 11. Also, using Wild Arcana increases the CL by 2.
Szymon, I typed a witty spacey response to your Cold Iron inquiry several days ago. I have no clue what happened to it. Strange. I said that I did not know if Cold Iron would effect these fey, but that it was more powerful against most fey I knew of.

Danath Orlovsky |

Round 2
Danath nodded grimly and raised his sword in a degenive stance, since it wasn't cold iron he had little chance to do as much damage as everyone else. However he would hold the line, so long as they had Edel and their other casters Victory was assured. "I agree Arv, Venetia and I can hold the front line." With rough coordination the fey surround many of the fighters, some press pass the flank of the group and move to attack the wizards themselves!
Even the mighty Edeldhur finds himself nearly half a dozen of these savage little fey, even as the enlarged form of Ni'Tir stomps in rage next to him it provides little comfort for the grim odds they faced...
Even Janus is forced to contend with the bloody creatures as one slips past the front line, as it approaches on foot it runs a long nasty tongue across the edge of its scythe blade. Apparently this creature was looking forward to the the coming kill...

He had hit and yet he did no harm to the creature and as more of them packed in to attack him he gave a powerful bellow. "Normal steel doesn't work and who has a holy symbol?!" He parries the next coming strike and grimaces as the enemy rush past to engage Arv and Lady Venetia.
