Maa-Djour Paani
|
Then we can meditate upon these things and see if we can come up on with the answers that we seek Maa-Djour replies as he offers Natashia his left hand as he returns his right hand into the cool bowl of water, closes his eyes and begins to pray to Hanspur, The Water Rat, for the powers required to cleanse this affliction from the water. Most people choose to worship their deities in their own special way, I find this way suitable for me, so long as your thoughts are to your deity then I am sure they don't mind which way you choose to worship them
Natashia
Zobek I would ask you exactly why an idle mind is a dangerous thing for you but currently I'm in no position to add to m current burden. Perhaps once things settle we can discuss your views on meditation. If you gentlemen will execuse me I'd like to find my inner peace before I attempt to rest for the night Natashia answers as she places her right hand in Maa-Djour's left hand. She could instantly feel the coolness of his skin as she touched his hand. Even with all the chaos in her mind and soul, Natashia felt a calmness come over her while she meditated with Maa-Djour. Praying to Nethys for guidance and for peace for those who are no longer with the living and for those who have suffered during this great tradgedy. She asked Nethys to protect her mother and brother from harm and to give her the strength she will need to preserve without her father to guide her.

Morning rises after a longer than normal night. The birds that would be there fled the day before. The waterfall still a darker color after the staining of the purest water in the world.
When Aquios and Natashia awaken, the little boy had left them already. Aquios and Natashia, give me a perception check.
Marco feels like he slept on a lump of adamantine. Oh wait, he did. He slept on top of his mechanus. His newly attached ballista is just waiting to be fired.
Kat reapplies her disguise to keep people from noticing. While she's still a friend to the Elves she doesn't want them to think her a thief. Roll me your Disguise check in your post.
Juan and Zobek, I don't know what you two did or where you slept last night.
Marco the MachineSmith
Marco wakes up and hops off his beloved Chieftain. Once on the ground, he leans back and cracks his back a bit because he is not use to laying on an adamantine armored machine such as his. He lets out a sigh and goes to find Zobek. He feels that his knowledge with help the city before packing up and heading to shear-point. He finds zobek alone, which was good. He didn't want anyone else hearing what he is about to tell him.
Zobek I understand you have a fondness for setting items ablaze. Listen. No matter how much that water monkey tries to pray...the water is not going to get back to normal on its own. The water is tainted with oil. Crude oil mind you. There is a source up the waterfall. Find the source and set the g$+ d#+ned abomination ablaze. That will help the water greatly. Oh....and be careful. You might set the while river on fire. If that is what it takes then do it. But please. Destroy the source of the oil before we return. I trust I can count on you for this task?
Natashia
Natashia heads towards Zobek to see what he's doing for they day. She had intended to spend the day helping the injured and making sure thing were in order before she went to find the source of the oil.
Zobek I trust you had a good nights sleep? Natashia asks as she approaches Zobek.

Juan...really?
The trip for Marco and Kat will pass by with little incident. Well, there was that one thing... (Roll perception Marco and Kat. Marco if your tank can perceive stuff roll for it as well.) It was roughly a day and a half since they left Serenity Grove. Night had fallen on the plains between the Clear Timber Woods and Shear Point. The light from the moon cast a somewhat eerie light on the Chieftain. Set up for camp, essentially.
--------
As for the team back at Serenity Grove, to find the source of the waterfall, you should find someone who knows where it is. Natashia can roll an Knowledge Local to see if she knows. Otherwise, Gather Info.

The local healers were able to heal most of the injured. There is still some people who need healing, and one person in particular.
Aquios, give me a Heal check to see how you do with a few of the injured people.
While you are bandaging another person, you hear a young voice saying something you've heard before, but not in this manner.
"The power of Hanspur compels you! The power of Hanspur compels you!"
Katrisa Rao
True, true. Let us talk with them and see what they know maybe we can hitch a ride. Kat will make sure that her spell is still working when she approaches the caravan. Excused me good sirs, myself and the people I am traveling with noticed your Caravan and are wondering where you are heading and if you have goods to sell.

The moment you get within sight of the caravan, they all rush into their wagons.
A moment later, the wagons open up into a portable bar, a portable store and a portable blacksmith's forge, three of the travelers in their respective shops.
"Greetings! Please, come, have a drink, browse our wares while your weapon is sharpened. Enjoy your stay!" A dwarf from the forge shouts out in a slightly louder than normal voice as if speaking to an audience.
A Half-Orc runs the shop while an Elf runs the bar.
The Nameless GM
The dwarf steps forward from the forge. "It all depends on the blade, m'lady, but our usual cost is 2 gold for a simple and light weapon, 4 gold for a larger one handed weapon, and 6 for anything needing two hands, but the large price is negotiable for larger. As for ammunition it is 1 gold for 10 pieces of ammo."
The Elf in the bar speaks up on the second question. "We are headed to the city of Shearpoint! We hear tale that there is a tournament coming about soon and we wish to be there to help the masses. Beer, weapons, assorted items, you name it!"
The Half-Orc chimes in. "Once we get there, we can finally sell enough and save up enough to start our own permanent stores for ourselves so we can stop the whole 'traveling caravan' thing."
Juan The Fifth
"Oh, Dios mío Nunca voy a caminar hasta tan lejos en mi vida puede el Magnífico Phantom cortar mis piernas para que nunca pueda sentir este dolor y retorcido blister nunca más." Says Juan the Fifth as he hobbles over to the caravan. Right before he gets in to eyesight of everyone, however, he straightens up and walks normally, greeting his group by saying "Greetings, friends! Wonderful night for a walk, isn't it?"
The Nameless GM
The smiles of excitement on the Dwarf and Elf's faces slowly start to sink as they realize you aren't joking. Then the Half-Orc shouts "Meeting!" as the three of them exit out the back of their respective carts to convene behind the wagons.
A few moments later you see them walking around to the front. The Dwarf speaks up first. "So as of right now the tournament is over and the winner has already been decided. Sounds like we need a new plan of action."
The Elf chimes in. "We are too far from our hometown to make it back with what provisions we have. We've decided that we will continue to Shearpoint and attempt to make it there."
The Half-Orc speaks up as well. "It's dangerous out here, and it will still take us at least a day to get there. We would like to take up your offer of traveling together, safety in numbers and all that. In exchange we can give you a discount at the store and forge as well as feed you for the day. Once we get to Shearpoint, you're on your own. Deal?"
The Dwarf holds out his hand to shake. Shake his hand and you agree.
As Juan enters their view the trio of travelers look over to him and in unison, almost like they've practiced, say "Be right with you, good sir!"
