The Nameless GM |
The Dwarf and the Half-Orc hardly seem to notice their companion as they attempt to get things ready for the night.
"We plan on making headway for the city at first light," the Dwarf begins. "My name is Gradik the Smith. My companions are Evenest and Krodig." The Elf and Half-Orc nod at their names respectively.
"I'll take the first watch," Krodig says after the wagons are set and the fire is lit.

The Nameless GM |
The journey across the desert goes by without a hitch. When you reach the gates to the city, the caravan is stopped by the guards at the gate. Due to the violent heritage of Krodig's father he isn't allowed in, and the party didn't have enough gold for a temporary passport to let him in.
A temporary passport is 250 gold for passage to the Commerce building for a real one, which is an extra 100 gold for the real passport.
Gradik and Evenest are allowed to purchase passports at the gate due to their race standing with the city and country.
As for finding out about the weaponry that destroyed the elven city, the ammo and weapons were indeed from Shearpoint. They were reported missing from the armory a couple of weeks before. The lieutenant that reported the weapons missing was fired after the report. Something is very wrong in the capitol of the Golden Rule.
----------
The young boy that Aquios met before tried to use the holy symbol to heal his mother after she drank some water from the river. After seeing the healing power of Hanspur in action to heal his mother, the young boy joins the clergy to help heal as he saw his hero heal. The little boy also lead the party to the source of the water to have it cleaned out.
When Zobek gets there he follows Marco's instructions and sets it on fire. The entire river and waterfall burst into flames, but it didn't destroy the city anymore. The event is known as the Firestream, and it goes down in history, and the team is treated as heros in Serenity Grove.

Katrisa Rao |

Katrisa will use her charm to try and get more information from the townsmen and guards about who they think stole the weapons any enemies anything of the sort. who do you think stole the weapons, when did they get stolen, how did they get stolen?
gather info: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 +1 if they are sexually attracted to her.
F*#*!

Marco the MachineSmith |

A shiver runs down Marco's spine as he hears about the weapons and shot, "going missing". Those words nearly made him throw up. How, in the living hell, does 3 siege cannons of that size and enough shot to level cities just vanish!? You know what. Screw it. Time for the Machinesmith to get to work.
Marco walks past Kat with eyes focused on the nearest guard. He stops and looks over the Guardsman's/Woman's weapon.
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 Know engie, to determine the condition of the weapon/type/make/whatever I can get out of it.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 Perception to complement, or hurt the knowledge roll.
Hmm...
The guard would notice that he is looking at the weapon, questionably.

Marco the MachineSmith |

Marco gets an idea in his head that makes him smirk a little as he sits down, pulls his pack off and pulls out the famous blueprint book of the Machinesmith trade. He starts frantically scribbling on the paper.
Tell me, what is your name Guardsman? Marco asks as he bides time to conceive of a way to make his idea a reality.
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16 Know engie to think of a way to give a spear "reach" without needing enchanting of any sort.
Marco looks at the paper with, slight confusion. For some reason what he thinks just doesn't look quite right on paper, or maybe its just cuz its a first draft opinion. He stands back up and turns the paper to the guard, showing him the idea for the "reach" short spear.
Ive been sitting on this idea for a while now, and something just...seems off. Maybe I need a second opinion. You yourself said you were a craftsman? If so, can you understand this?

The Nameless GM |
"Willm is my name. And I'm not a mechanic, just a blacksmith. If you want to see about improving the design of this you could see the royal arms designer. I hear he's in the market for a few good designs and he'd be willing to pay."
Willm gives you directions to find the Royal Arms Designer. His name is not known, but he goes by Earl Gray. He's a Gnome with gray hear with read streaks in it. Can't miss him.

Katrisa Rao |

Kat will gather her thoughts before going to the local tavern. She will if there is a guard she will offer him a private dance if he accepts she will after the dance try to get some information. If not she will just take some other male...or female and do the same.
perform dance: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
gather info from said person: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21 +1 from charming

Marco the MachineSmith |

Marco does not go back to his companions yet. He has not learned what he wants to know yet. He heads to the Market, as instructed by William and finds a particular read head Gnome.
Good day to you sir He says with a slight bow in his posture.
I was told you were the man to find about selling weapon designs. My name is Marco the Machinesmith. I pride myself on the crafting of weapon and Siege artillery.
He reaches back into his bag and pulls out his trusty blueprint book and bows once again, in traditional elven politeness. If I could spare a moment of your time, I think I have something you may be interested in.

The Nameless GM |
The Gnome is behind the counter looking over a few other blueprints. Even with Marco's training none of these blueprints make sense!
"Eh!? Whatcha want?" The Gnome hops up onto a stand for him to get to eye level with you. Sure enough, his hair is steel gray with the tips a bright red. On his forehead is a pair of smoked goggles to help him work. His apron has lots of tools, gadgets, and few chemical stains here and there. You can see on his back something like a blunderbuss but it has a few modifications you don't recognize.
After seeing your blueprints he takes them without a word and starts to look them over, muttering to himself in a language you don't understand.
"No, no, and no. None of these work." He folds them up neater than when you handed them to him and hands them back. "I've either already got those in a better format or the ones you have just won't work. Thank you for your time."
He promptly gets back to work on another blueprint of his, muttering again to himself.

Marco the MachineSmith |

Well that's a shame. Even my masterpiece didn't intrigue you at all? Guess that shows how much training I actually have... He lets out a sigh and flips back through his book, stopping at the Chieftains prints. He turned the book around and set it down in front of the Gnome.
You missed one. If this doesn't spark some interest I will leave you be and never interrupt your work again my good sir. If you have any insight for me, I am about to improve on this particular creation of mine. Any helpful information would be valuable to my travels.

The Nameless GM |
Earl looks at the blueprints one more time, this time his interest is peaked. "What have we here...."
He takes his time looking over the blueprints. As he looks he takes a piece of chalk and starts to make a few notes here and there, not messing with the overall design.
"This....is a true masterpiece. I must ask, how do you power it. All you have on the blueprint is a sphere in the center. And how do you plan on upgrading it?"
After you explain how you plan to upgrade it without giving details to the core, Earl nods and makes another quick note. "That would work. Just keep in mind the weight of the frame and this will be a piece to be afraid of."
"How much for a copy of the blueprints?"

Marco the MachineSmith |

For the prints, considering I spent most of my time toying over it...I don't have an asking price for them. Make me an offer, considering im not divulging the power plant of the system.
He stands there with his arms crossed. He figures that the old Gnome would be able to come up with some form of power source, however if it is not made by one of his kind, it will be shotey and probably unreliable. Or he could go with a magical option instead.

Marco the MachineSmith |

with all thats happened over the last few days...I will take that deal. Especially considering...I just came from a village that was destroyed by Orcs...with Siege Cannons. A handful of Chieftain Mk IIs could intercept and bring them down. Where in the hell do Orcs get that kind of firepower?
He hints at the knowledge of the destroyed city but acts like he doesn't know where the shot or weapons came from, to say the least he hopes the Gnome doesn't have a good read on people.
1d20 ⇒ 10 bluff to hide infromation
1d20 ⇒ 10 diplomacy to have his retorical question answered

The Nameless GM |
Earl starts to count up the money, talking while he counts.
"Pffft. Beats me. I mean, sure, the most powerful of siege cannons are right here in Shearpoint, which is why no one dares challenge us. Sorry to hear about your village. Where some Orcs could get that kinda power I've got no idea. It it's in the Grey Kingdom it could be from anywhere. Those lax laws will be the death of that nation."
After counting the gold up, he places it in a bag and hands it to Marco, rolling up the blueprints with the utmost care and placing them in a scroll case for safe keeping.
