Ah right Faction card! I almost forgot about that. Would this mess at the museum, and involving Imrizade in particular count aas black mail for the Sovereign Court "Recover blackmail or incriminating evidence against a named NPC ambassador, aristocrat, noble, or similar figure." faction card?
Faliana nods at Darren's words, covertly showing him her soveirgn court sybol formbeeath a layer f clothing. "We could definitely be of adventuring help, and might, though if anyone asks did not say this, be able to get you help with securing political connections and maybe finding certain items and support."
Recruit Attempt, Dimplomacy DC 20: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
@ Brady, how does the any tool come into your job roll?
And what nifty goal is that minimum dayjob?
I'm doubtful about Nigel, though.
As curator, he's a caretaker. He, as far as i've seen, does not involve himself in mercentile business. The Blakroses and/or his own employees provide museum content. (Solstice Scar mentions his own employees)
@ Darren, she'll look favorably your way in the future.
@ Faliana, she'll not look the same way
That wouldn't count as blackmail, no.
I'll upload a new version with recruitment results for you tonight.
Yeah, the Slush Fund reward is pretty cool. Not only does it give you minimum day job results, but they grow; the minimum is 25 gp for every two goals. It also reimburses you for "tolls, bribes, living expenses and other non-permanent costs" during a scenario, up to the amount of your day job check. So no more paying to stay at an inn, or for trail rations, etc.
As for the traveler's any-tool, it functions as a masterwork tool for all craft and profession checks, thus the +2 bonus. In the context of Profession (merchant), that could be skinned a number of ways; I'm thinking like an abacus to help with calculations to make sure you get all the fees owed.
