Pyros Aldori |

Thinking quickly, Pyros dashes forward, then flicks his open hand toward the mite and centipedes. A cone of fire leaps from his outstretched hand.
Trying to catch as many as I can in a 15 foot cone of my Burning Hands SLA. Before the mite gets away, if possible.
Burning Hands: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Reflex DC 13 for half damage.

Autumn Moon |

Autumn let out a snort, almost like a bull, before she jumped into the think of it. In her hands was a handaxe, not the typical bow.
Swift: Animal Focus Bull +2 to Str
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
She moved up to the closet centipede and swung the handaxe as skillfully as she use her bow.

Regina Caro |

Hanging back until the light moves into the room then Regina moves into as well.
Humans cannot see in darkness well and until someone who has the torch, I think it is Herger, goes into the room I could not do much. But Regina will spend her turn moving.

Herger Orickson |

I had thought i had posted this, sorry.
He moved into the room and followed the others, with the torch, perhaps the light would bother the creatures... or perhaps it would just make him a bigger target. He would be fine with either.

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn rushes across the chamber and joins Pyros, waiting to attack.

GM Waterhammer |

Autumn leads the way with a charge; her axe flashes down, severing the head of one of the centipedes. It's body flips and flops harmlessly in the throes of death.
Centipede: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Damage: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0
One of the surviving centipedes skitteres to Pyros, and up his leg before the Ifrit can dodge away. The mandibles do only minimal damage, but they are poison tipped.
Dex dmg: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Pyros takes 1 point of non-lethal damage, and must make a DC 13 Fort save or take 1 point of Dex damage.
Centipede(red): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Even of balance from her charge Autumn has no difficulty evading the other centipedes jaws.
The tiny, incredibly ugly humanoid runs and drops down the hole in the floor, disappearing from view.
Round 2 players go!

Autumn Moon |

Seeing the the creature drop down a hole in the flood Autumn sighed. "They'll likely know we're here now." She told the others as she focused on the centipedes still around them.
Attacking Red: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
And, back to the poor rolls...

Pyros Aldori |

Fortitude: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Shrugging off the centipede's tinging poison, Pyros stretches out his hand and launches a torrent of fire. The rush of flames narrowly misses Autumn, but engulfs both bugs.
Burning Hands: 1d4 ⇒ 4 DC13 Reflex save for half damage.

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn brings his blade down in an overhand chop on the caterpillar in front of Pyros.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Regina Caro |

I am going to assume that Caerwyn killed it. Readied action to take my mutagen. +2 nat ac, -2 wis, +4 dex for 10 min
Trailing after Herger and fiddling with her things. Once Regina is satisfied that she has the right bottle she glances up, "We are going down right?"

Regina Caro |

One lost its head and the other should be dead.

Caerwyn Callandriil |

There were three to begin with.

Regina Caro |

I am apparently illiterate. Sorry. I only see two centipedes on the map and I though the mite went down the tunnel.

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn steps alongside Autumn and swings his sword at the centipede but his attack is stopped by a low hanging root as his blade becomes jammed. Cursing, he manages to wiggle the blade free.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Autumn Moon |

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
"I've got your back Caerwyn." Autumn told him as she brought her hand axe down onto the centipede before her.

Regina Caro |

Chugging the vial in her hand and readying a shot at the hole Herger is dropping fire into.

GM Waterhammer |

The quick centipede dodges Caerwyn's blow, but Autumn catches the thing with her axe. Ichor sprays, and the centipede is dead, head and first three segments cut away.
Herger sees the mite below him, it hasn't got far, on it's short, little legs. The shaft drops down 10 feet; roots provide plenty of purchase for climbing. The shaft opens into another cavern with low, uncomfortable ceiling. The mite begins to scream and yell, presumably raising an alarm.
No climb check needed to descend.
Pyros still has a turn. Then...
Round 4 players go!

Pyros Aldori |

"Well, down the hatch it is." Pyros says, and chases the mite into the hole.
I'll eat the AoO.
Pyros skids to a halt in front of the creature, blade drawn. "Hold on there tiny. Let's talk, why don't we?"
I'll be ready with my AoO if he tries to get around me.

GM Waterhammer |

AoO-dagger: 1d20 ⇒ 9
The tiny creature screams with rage, slashing at Pyros with her dagger. Up close and personal, Pyros realizes that the mite is female, though no less hideous and rage filled for it.
The ifrit evades the attack easily enough.
Pyros also notices another mite in the cave, thanks to his darkvision. He also notices that the cave takes a turn to the left. Anything could be hiding around that corner...

Regina Caro |

Moving up to the hole and glancing down it while Pyros jumps in. "Mite as well. Oh wow, bad puns. This is going to suck.
Moving just past Pyros and staring at the other mite. Palming a small vial while waiting to see if the creatures will see reason.
Readying to toss a bomb if the mite does not wanna talk to Pyros.
bomb+mutagen: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Hits on touch ac.
dmg: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Autumn Moon |

Acrobatic: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Autumn ran up and jumped down the hole, rolling as she did so and popped up next to Pyros.

Readied attack if the Mite doesn't talk and attacks instead.

Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn follows Autumn and Herger down the hole.

GM Waterhammer |

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
The mite scrambles and rolls with surprising dexterity. She has moved before Autumn's axe or Regina's flask can connect. The mite scuttles, unharmed, around Pyros before he can react.
Acrobatics check to avoid provoking from Pyros and Regina. Autumn and Regina's readied attacks just plain missed. Grenade miss: 1d8 ⇒ 8
Regina's bomb crashes into the back wall of the cave, whistling past Caerwyn's ear on it's way.
Round 5 Players go!

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn rushes across the room to engage the mite in the back of the caverns, ducking low to avoid any low hanging roots.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Herger Orickson |

He moved forward torwards the mite in front of Pyros sort of and he used the torch like a weapon sort of, waving it and jabbing it kinda torwards the mite as a destraction to allow the other man to get in a cleaner strike.
aid another attack DC 10: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
Pyros should get an addition +2 to hit the mite in front of me

Regina Caro |

Growling low in her throat. All I am doing is being useless!
Moving forward throwing a bomb in the group of mites around the corner.
Bomb + mutagen: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 Hits touch and I apparently was wrong putting a 5 on the last role.
damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9 five foot splash, damage is 6, DC 16 reflex for half on the splash
Going for the first one directly in front of her and hoping to catch three of them.

Autumn Moon |

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Autumn swung at the mite before them and greatly missed her mark.

Pyros Aldori |

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Seeing little recourse since the tiny fey apparently doesn't want to talk, Pyros slashes at the creature with his dueling sword.

GM Waterhammer |

Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
The fiery flask catches the three unfortunate mites on fire, the flail around, then collapse, their tiny lungs crisped.
Two more mites rush out of the darkness, abnormally brave, but they are defending their home after all.
The two newcomers' heads seem to swell, as their slitted eyes open revealing orbs yellow and bloodshot with tiny black pupils. A wave of malevolence flashes out of the eyes then they resume their normal squint.
The ill will is directed at Regina.
They both cast Doom at Regina, DC 10 or she is shaken. She needs to make 2 saving throws, failing either will cause the shaken condition.
The mite cornered by Caerwyn stabs at the elf with the dart it holds in it's hand. Caerwyn evades the clumsy attack with ease.
Dart: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Random Doom pick: 1-3 Regina/4-6 Caerwyn. 1d6 ⇒ 3 1d6 ⇒ 2
Round 6 Players Go!

Autumn Moon |

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
"This is beginning to annoy me." Autumn seemed to growl before she swung her axe at the mite before Caerwyn.

Herger Orickson |

He chanted while holding up his holy symbol. Calling upon his patron he cast a blessing over himself and his friends.
Casting bless on everyone! enjoy that +1 to hit and +1 versus fear :)

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Caerwyn swings his blade in an arc parallel to the floor but still cannot get used to fighting in such cramped quarters.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 2 + 1 = 12

Regina Caro |

Will: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Will: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Raising her hand to throw her next bomb and faltering, her hands start shaking. No, no, no.. Staggering forward on shaky feet and biting her tounge hard. Sharp pain lances though her and she lobs another bomb hopping to remove more of the mites and praying that her shaking fingers will not betray her. Old Deadeye please!
bomb: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 - 2 = 18 Hits touch, DC 14 reflex for half slpah which is a flat 4 damage

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Crit ?
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
My sword is cold iron, if that matters.

GM Waterhammer |

Moved Autumn forward per her actions. Moved Herger forward so all his allies could be caught in the bless. Cold iron does matter.
Autumn hacks into the mite with a furious blow, it goes down in a gout of ichor.
Regina's flask finds lands just where she tosses it, and the fire burns with fury; the mite expires quickly.
Pyros' sword slashes into the mite, it drops to the floor. And with that, the fight seems to be over. At least there are no more mites in view...

Autumn Moon |

Autumn cleaned off her axe before she looked over to Herger. "Mites are not... talkative so I don't think they respond to anything other than this." She told the cleric.

Regina Caro |

Pushing herself of to steady herself, focus calming the shaking in her hands. "Sha.. Shall we continue?"

Caerwyn Callandriil |

Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Caerwyn makes his way further down the cavern and peers around the corner.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
