Slumper destroys the two that provoke from him, while Thrak destroys one of his.

At the far end of the long causeway Castle Scarwall’s front gate looms, flanked by twin statues of warriors standing at attention. Pale flames rise from the tips of their spears thirty feet above. Torches are set into the entryway tunnel leading to the main gates themselves, providing illumination. The massive gates are closed, and a lowered iron portcullis further bars unauthorized entrance.

Corbyn does not find any traps, but the gate ahead is closed and is linked to a mechanism triggered somewhere above. Looking up, he sees murder holes above them and can see the pale white of skeletons moving up there...

Ruperta quickly retrieves a scroll from her handy haversack and casts Bull Strength on herself.

Thrak and Slumper step up to aid Ruperta and with a great groan of metal, the portcullis rises! Beyond sits a heavy wooden door, which the three have no problem pushing open. Rows of arrow slits line the east and west walls of this hallway, and murder holes look down from above. The far end is blocked by another heavy gate with another iron portcullis set before it. Lining the length of the corridor are dozens of orc skeletons and scattered bones, many still clad in damaged pieces of armor and clinging to rusted weapons.
However, before you can do much more than glance at the skeletons, bolts begin flying from the murder holes above and the slits to the sides! Ahead of you lies another iron portcullis and heavy wooden door!

Pai casts Silent Image, and wooden walls and ceiling covering appear from nowhere, covering up the murder holes and slits.
Silent Image (Dc 19) to resist. Just sort of creating illusionary wooden walls and a ceiling that hopefully the baddies can't see us through.

If no one wants the fire resist ring, I can probalby use it as my ref is pretty poor.. hps 123/126 if I could see anyway to get to the people in the arrow slits I would go that way but assuming not and It's a straight shot to the door, will head for hte door and try to open it... going to assume using my whole action jsut to get there

Arrowslits in this room’s longest wall allow observation of the castle’s entrance hall from this barren room. A flight of stairs leads up along the room’s opposite wall.
