Deep in the Ethereal Plane lurks a small demiplane, consisting of a large gothic manor house and its grounds. Lights flicker in its windows, fountains play in its carefully manicured gardens, and the sound of feasting and jollity comes from within.

At first it might seem like a welcome respite to planar travelers, but those few who have escaped describe a place of chaos and madness, where all times and places seem to converge, and yet nothing ever changes. Where the dust of millenia lies on flower that are still as fresh as the day they were picked, and where visitors from a thousand worlds and realities have reshaped the very fabric of the house to their wills.

They describe an ancient, powerful, inbred family of nobles, trapped by a timeless curse, who have existed so long that they are no longer sure which parts of their personalities are truly their own, which are masks they have adopted to break the boredom of endless eons, and which have been whispered in their ears by sinister manipulators in the shadows...

All Paizo sources are legal. If you are choosing something obscure, like an AP trait or something, please make a note where it comes from to save me hunting.
A maximum of one other creature per character, so one familiar, animal companion, trained war dog etc. You will arrive at Castle Amber without mounts.

I kind of wrote myself into a corner as far as gear goes. It's kind of hard to justify a character carrying a pack while being burned at the stake :-( He's only got on him what he could have reasonably been carrying when he was grabbed.


Please add the eidolon to his profile. You might also want to quick stat up some of the more common summoned monsters, factoring in Augment Summoning.

Elf Blood (Ex) Half-elves count as both elves and humans for any effect related to race.

Elven Immunities (Ex) Half-elves are immune to magic sleep effects and get a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.

Elven Reflexes One of your parents was a member of a wild elven tribe, and you've inherited a portion of your elven parent's quick reflexes. You gain a +2 trait bonus on Initiative checks.

Interstellar Void (Su) You call upon the frigid depths of outer space to bring a terrible chill to your enemies. As a standard action one target within 30 feet is cloaked in the void and takes 3d6 points of cold damage. A successful Fortitude save (DC 14) halves this damage. You can use this ability 1/day.

Keen Senses (Ex) Half-elves receive a +2 bonus on Perception skill checks.

Low-Light Vision (Ex) You can see x2 as far as humans in low illumination. Characters with low-light vision have eyes that are so sensitive to light that they can see twice as far as normal in dim light.

Tongues In times of stress or unease, you speak in tongues. Whenever you are in combat, you can only speak and understand one selected language. This does not interfere with spellcasting, but it does apply to spells that are language dependent.

Tongues ~ Celestial You gain Celestial as a bonus language.

Her evolution are: Strength Increase (+2), Improved Damage (claws), Skilled (+8 Perception), and Improved Natural Armor

I'm not even sure where 'here' is yet :-) Sister isn't summoned currently. Having almost been burned at the stake because of her, he probably won't be inviting her to the party until he gets an idea how everyone feels about magic. Yeah, I'm not saying much as we have no idea where we meet yet? In the mist, or in front of the mansion?

For information, Celeste is a slender, beautiful young woman. Her looks are not all human, ears especially. There is also the problem she seems distracted and her eyes are unfocused, as if she's listening to something only she can hear.

I plan on bumping up Lucia's Strength to 14 next level and take Weapon Specialization for her bonus feat, which will bump up her damage nicely, but...until then, you and Corlen are our heavy hitters.

Yes, eating the same meal as ghosts seemed like a bad idea from the start, which is why Celeste is spamming detect magic at everything. That will come back to bite her in the ass I'm sure. :)

For Sister to inflict non-lethal damage with her claws (presumably by backhanding her opponent) would she take the -4 to attack penalty that a melee weapon would? I can't find anything for non lethal attacks with natural weapons.


I don't see why not unless anyone can find a relevant rule. Of course, that means that it would make sense for her to retract her claws and fight barehanded,

If she retracts the claws then I think it's just a single unarmed strike which would do 1d3+4 damage instead of two +3 attacks dealing 1d6+4 (the unarmed strike would also provoke if he were armed). I think her to hit unarmed would be +7 though so it might be a better way to go. She'll probably switch it up.
