Selene Fox-Ear |

"Oh, hey there."The half elf greets you awkwardly as she unfastens her leather helmet with practiced ease. "Right, I imagine you'll want to know to know more about me?" Selene slings her bow over her shoulder and pulls out a carving-knife and a half-finished arrow shaft and leaned against the wall of her cabin. As she whittled away at the arrow, a a serene expression painting her face for a brief moment until she remembers she has an audience, and turns to you, scowling. "Well, what do you want to know?"

Walthus Harrow |

Walthus strode down the road to Ravengro and admired the cloudy day and wondering when the sun might peak out it's lovely head for a visit. The halfling puffed on his pipe as he thought on the professor who had recently passed and decided to take a break for an afternoon snack under a rather tired and scraggly looking tree. "I don't suppose you'd mind allowing me to rest under your branches for a little while would you, friend? I've stories to offer, blessings from of the Dawnflower, along with my eternal gratitude. Walthus didn't hear any complaints, so he said a loving prayer over the tree calling for the light of the dawn flower and took a moment to examine the soil at it's base. It was quite fertile as it was in most of Canterwall, if a bit rockier than usual. The halfling smiled and plopped down and leaned against the tree, smoking his pipe and gazing out into the road towards the village where his good friend would be laid to rest. Thoughts of the professor brought a smile to the halfling's face and he addressed the tree enthusiastically. "I've a story to tell you about a dear friend of mine, a brilliant professor and an even more brilliant man. It's quite a long story, but I get the feeling you've got the time, friend."

Zindelo Lovari |

I am new to pbp but am interested.
for your consideration
His childhood was normal for a time, until the change. It was around his 16th year. The changes started slow. It began with interest in his mother's fortunetelling. At first he was giving fortunes as his mother taught him but soon he was making predictions that came true and telling "clients" things of their past that no one could know. At first the family as a whole thought it a blessing from Desna as their fortunes changed with more and more people coming to see Zindelo for a harrowing.
The next change came several months later when one of his brothers broke his leg falling out of a tree. Unsure of how he did it Zindelo healed his brother's broken leg with his touch. Again the family thought this healing power a blessing.
The final change came a few months later that summer. As word of Zindelo's harrowing and healing spread more and more people came to seek him. A crowd had gathered and the sun was hot on his back. He was being constantly pulled in different directions as people vied for his attention. The heat, the pulling, the group of people pressing against him, it all made him feel constricted. He couldn't breathe, he couldn't get away. Suddenly he felt as if he was burning from the inside. He looked down and saw his skin begin to crack with white light pushing out and causing his skin to fall away. The crowd began to scream with fear as they ran in all directions. Soon his body fell away as he became pure energy. Scared by what was happening to him he called out for his mother but the words that came out were not his, instead the Abyssal words of demons escaped his lips, not that he knew that is what he was speaking at the time.
When the chaos dispersed his parents took Zindelo and hid him. They never again let him near the public. Unsure of what happened to him Zin's parents decided it was best for him to stay away from harrowing and healing, instead he began to assist his father when his help was needed.
In his 18th year fortune finally found Zin again. Professor Lorrimor had come to Riddleport for some Thassilonian research. He soon came to Zin's father for assistance. During the weeks he spent with the Lovari family Professor Lorrimor soon learned of Zin's story. The night before Professor Lorrimor was going to leave to go back to Ustalov he spoke with Zin. He told Zin that he suspected he was an Oracle and if he wanted he could go with the professor back to Ustalov to better understand his. Zin was ecstatic but declined the offer because he could not afford the journey. The professor insisted Zin come with him and so, with his parents urging, Zin left in hopes to better understand himself. Once in Ustalov Professor Lorrimor helped Zin to understand his powers and his nature. Zin was introduced to others like himself and soon mastered himself and his abilities.
Zindelo owed Professor Lorrimor everything. Finally understanding who he is and what he can do was something he could never repay and all that Professor Lorrimor had asked in return was that someday Zin repay the favor when the professor came calling.

Ustalavic Noble (Ustalav)
You come from an aristocratic family, though your family has long since lost any power or prestige it once had.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy and Knowledge (nobility) checks. In addition, your starting money is increased by 100 gp— your “birthright,” such as it is.
gear-banded mail,flail,lance,heavy steel sheeld,dagger-
backpack,rope(hem),militar saddle
heavy horse(war trained, bonus feet power attack)
(i assume that the horse is free for cavalier)
The family however has been plagued by terrible curse, that slowly brought there downfall.
(i will let the nature of the curse open since i dont know what will fit in the campaign but the original idea was that do to some kind of dark practice all female children in Carmel line become sorceress of (aberrant or undead or abyssal bloodline)
Curently the Carmels are reduced to only Henric and his younger sister Iolana, living in almost ruined manor, with few servants.
Without the help of Professor Petros Lorrimar however it could have been far worse.
His knowledge and experience helped avoid the curse and saved the life of Iolana.
Then not only the Professor refused any reward, but he also kept quiet about the whole affair, thus saving the Carmels good name from terrible scandal,he merely request that he would someday call on Henric to repay the favor.
When Henric received word of the professor’s death, and that he had
named him specifically in his will, he dread of what the strange professor
could possibly want, and has he left anything that would reveal the Carmels dark secret.

Finished him anyway. I dont know how you can run a campaign with so many character submissions? is there a idiot guide to paizo PbP somewhere?
FELAELREL
** spoiler omitted **...
thing i might have glossed over what i plan with this char as opposed to saying it. I plan on Magus, myrmydarch at second level. It will make him a very elvish, woodsy, archery, magic kind. Eventually Arcane archer. I don't try to min/max but i do stat and plan out my characters, it helps me concrete my ideas and vision of the character.
now back to your regularly scheduled.... what were we doing again?

The tension is KILLING ME.
You ain't kidding!
At least it won't be like picking teams where you know who is first pick and who is last pick. It'll be clean, either your in or out.
@GM Wulfson - yes, I am a life oracle.... updated my sheet. Looking forward to PbP and hoping I make the cut.

GM Wulfson |

OK, thank you all for your submissions. I appreciate your interest in this campaign but, unfortunately, I cannot choose you all. It's always difficult to decide on party makeup and who's in and who's out. Because there were so many good submissions it's taken me almost five hours of double checking and second guessing myself to come to my decision.
I've chosen the following players/characters to join me on what I hope will be an enjoyable adventure.
(In no particular order).
Torilgrey- Theodor Rostmanov
Belsin- Zindelo Lovari
Aebliss- Eloise Tow
DM Mathpro- Tomnus
Helaman- Mathus Kohlheim
To all of you who took the time to submit a character, fear not. If/when there is a vacancy I will be going to the list of submissions and I will send you a PM to find out if you're still interested in joining.
Thank you all for your time and effort,
V
