Dingus Mack |

I believe Dingus had already stated he was moving up after the last Vapor Viper, but none-the-less he moves to G7 and casts away.
Round 7
HP 5/18, AC-15
2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 1) + 2 = 5 Viscous Vapor Viper - Twin strike

the Groom |

Will Save -> 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Save!, but it still drops the Groom to -1. Damn evil clerics, they are so much fun to DM, and deadly to fight as a player. Windwall plus negative channel is a tough combo. the Groom was fighting with his rapier, his crossbow was dropped back in the clearing.

James "Madman Jim" Patterson |

Round 6:
Status:
HP: 14/33 AC: 19 Conditions: +2 IP, -1 CON
Dimly seeing the Groom go down, Jim launches himself towards the Mayor, sword flashing. Move to D-7 and attack; it won't matter if the fire is considered difficult terrain, since he's got Nimble Moves.
To hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Dibbets |

Round 6:
Realising that there is little he can do against the mayor, he remembers what two-fingers McGee once told him.... when in doubt, lie yer arse orf
Stumping out of view Dibbs makes a loud show of some fancy pants sounding elvish "Alacadabra duck al'orange chocolate eclair. This'll feck him up good n proper"
Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Move to G,5 and cast light
Bugger all else I can do unfortunately ;)

Cap'n Voodoo |

Dibbets ducks around the corner making spelly sounds. The mayor cocks an ear, certainly that's no spell he's ever heard of, but he's got more pressing concerns as Jim leaps over the fire and slashes the parasite priest. Dingus unleashes his magical bolts and Kaul springs into action.
Half-Hitch follows behind Dibbets, giving him a nod as he borrows Dibbets' dagger and disappears into the corn.
Channeling neg energy is pretty harsh. just a burst of random damage. almost makes you feel sorry for all those undead that have been blasted. almost.
Kaul up.

Cap'n Voodoo |

I'm gonna GMRC Kaul to keep us going and maybe save the Groom who is toast with another channel.
Relieved of his nervous tick, Kaul moves up to the action and finds the Groom lying limp as kelp right in the middle of it all. Grabbing the soggy sailor's heels, Kaul wonders if Dibbs or the monkey idol have anything for him.
The mayor, now sorely pressed by Jim steps back redirecting the floating spear which again misses its target. The mayor cackles as purple electricity arcs from his fingers striking Jim and releasing the scento of ozone and smoldering cloth. Jim-5 hp electricity damage.

Round 7:
Status:
HP: 9/33 AC: 19 Conditions: +2 IP, -1 CON
Muscles convulsing as the electricity courses through his body, Jim is unable to hit the parasite cleric. "I'll see you dead, you son of a swine!"
To hit: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Dibbets |

Round 7:
Cradling his lit staff with one stubby and grimy hand Dibbs steps out in front of Dingus with a crazed ricktus upon his miniature face. Screaming eldritch Elvish words of ensorcellment "Foux de fafa, je'voudrais une croissant.... BAGUETTE!!" Dibbs reveals the lit staff with a flourish and thrusts it forward at the Mayor....
Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
...hoping at least the pantomine slacks his attention on the thrusts of his companions who are far more stabbily inclined than he.
Move to F,7 - and not entirely sure what I'm trying to achieve with the bluff. With all my spells long gone, and him having a wind wall up I have very little that I can do....

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

Round 8
Sensing things are getting a might nippy, Kaul barrels towards the mayor, with him and Bess aiming to seperate his head from his shoulders... The thug rumbles to C8, sidestepping the prone Groom as best he can as he does...
Kaul Charge attack w/ Bess: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Hopeful Damage... :S : 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2) + 4 = 9

Cap'n Voodoo |

i'm not sure what yer doin' either Dibbs, but i'll give an aid another to Jim if you successfully bluff (that might be an interesting Feat actually- Heckle Foe or something...)
Dibbets steps forward shouting about bread. The mayor pays no heed to the strange little person though and easily dodges Jim's strike. Kaul lets the Groom drop behind him and flings himself at the mayor mowing down a row of corn as Bess swings wide.
Smoldering from more snake strikes, the mayor redirects the spear which flies at the sorcerer and over his head. Then he steps back lifting his spear and the rusted mosquito symbol. "Drink deeply, O Ghlaunder!" Cold dark energy flies outward draining your vitality.
All except Dingus and the Groom- 11 hp neg energy, DC 14 Will save for half.

Round 9
DC 14 Will Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Buggerations!
Status
HP: 6/23 AC[/b}: 17 [b]CONDITIONS: -
Kaul's scarred hide prickles as the dark energy washes over him, gritting his tusks he thrusts hard with his big cleaver;
"Hur... Now I sting you ye bastich!..."
Bess Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Feckin Dice... c'mon tis the season of giving ye wee digital feckers!
Damage?: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 3) + 4 = 11

Dingus Mack |

Round 9
Dingus with his greater speed and mobility will fire Vapor Vipers, and keep distant from the Evil Mayor, so he's not within range of his dark channeling.
2d4 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 2 = 8 Vapor Viper of Rage
Not looking good. This is Dingus last Magic Missile

Cap'n Voodoo |

The channeled dark energy blasts through the crew and Jim and Dibbets fall joining the Groom on the gangway of the Seawraith. All is left to the slender Tien youth and the scarred half-orc. Dingus lets lose his final round of snaking forcebolts and Kaul steps up swinging Bess.
At the last moment, a small shadowy shape darts from the corn behind the mayor thrusting a dagger into his kidneys. The mayor gasps half-turning to the new threat which leaves an opening for Kaul who drives the weighty falchion deep into the mayor's neck. The cult leader falls gurgling the name of Ghlaunder.
Half-Hitch gives a low whistle, "Now that was shaving her close, mates."

Dingus Mack |

Dingus stands in the now silent...for the most part battlefield, and surveys his fallen companions. Dead. So many dead. And for what? If and when I get off this island; If and when I make new friends/ we will help, and trust nobody.
"Well, I guess we'd better see to burying these friends bodies". "We can leave the mayor to rot for all I care".
Dingus then walks over and relieves himself upon the corpse of the mayor.
"Looks like it's just us now". "What should we do next".

Dingus Mack |

Dingus fires up a cornstalk with light. "Don't worry, a little pee won't hurt you". Dingus gathers up the loot. I guess we can use this fancy spear to make sure he's dead". Dingus then punches the spear through the Mayor's eye.
"Do you want to go back and borrow a shovel or two from the villagers so we can bury this lot"? "It's going to be a long night". "Hmm, this spear is magical, as well as this silly wand, and one of these vials". "Wonder what they do".
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 Spellcraft Spear
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Spellcraft wand
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Spellcraft potion

Cap'n Voodoo |

Dingus identifies the cruelly barbed spear as a +1 Vicious Spear. The wand and potion, he's unsure about.
"I'm not much for digging. I'd rather just sink 'em though it'll be a bit of work hauling 'em out to the beach." Half-Hitch sighs and takes a closer look at Jim, "O'course we better make sure they're dead dead. I think Jim here is still breathing. You got any nursing skills? Maybe shove some rum down his throat?"

Dingus Mack |

"Not me". "Let's search these guys, and see if they have any potions or things to help them".
If so Dingus will give the potion, to whomever's body he finds it on, or whoever looks the closest to dying.
1d20 ⇒ 19 Heal Check

Cap'n Voodoo |

Half-Hitch and Dingus get the others into more comfortable positions near the fire and Dingus carefully checks the wounds. The young sorcerer actually proves not too bad a nurse and his unconscious mates show some sign of improvement after an hour.
Dibbs, Jim, Groom- DC 10 Con check minus neg hp to regain consciousness though still disabled.

Dibbets |

Con Check: 1d20 + 1 - 3 ⇒ (16) + 1 - 3 = 14 Awake and Disabled
Slowly rousing as Dingus works, the first sense to come into focus for Dibbets is his smell. The acrid tang of urine on the air, Dibbs first thought is that he'd had another bender - but the return of sight to his eyes and some sense to his scrambled noggin belay that thought.
Fuzzy eyes eventually focusing in Dibbs discovers HH and Dingus on their feet. Sitting up too sudden makes his head swim in pain and he sits there groaning a while.

James "Madman Jim" Patterson |

Con check DC 10: 1d20 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 1 - 2 = 14
His unconsciousness troubled by visions of blood, Shelyn, the pig, and the faceless creatures, Jim eventually struggles back to consciousness. I'm alive...no way being dead would hurt this much. Time to get shipshape. He gingerly sits up, looks around, then slowly stands. "Heh...guess we won, hey?" Moving slowly to avoid damaging himself further, he cleans and sheathes his sword and straightens his clothes and hair.

Dibbets |

"Damn straight we won..." pausing to sniff the air a bit more "Smells like we scared tha piss right outa him" groaning in pain as he finds his feet using old faithful as a walking cane.
Surveying the broken bodies of his mates around him "Well, tain't feck all I ken do fer anyone till I've had a rest.... how sure are we the in-breds ain't comin back fer skeeter head there?"

Cap'n Voodoo |

Two coconuts drop from the strange palm tree in the clearing. Then the palm tree is gone and Tum-Bobo squats near the fire.
"Where me Fait'less apostle? Hey you, crazy Jim human. I bring you gifts, you worship me now. You better looking than dumb orc anyhow. Drink de coconut milk and feel bettah. Then bring me shinies and booze."
coconut milk can be sipped as goodberry for 1 hp each sip. There are 6 hp worth in the first and 7 in the second.

James "Madman Jim" Patterson |

Jim picks up one of the coconuts. "Thanks, Tum-Bobo. I'll see what I can do about the shinies and booze." He'll take three sips to start with and pass it to Dibbs.

Dibbets |

Dibbs holds the coconut gingerly and sets his pair of peepers solidly on the simian husk. Grinding his teeth within a closed mouth he eventually comes to a decision and pulls out a battered flask - mixing the coconut milk in with the last of his moonshine. Swirling it around in the nut while continuing to eye the monkey. He then drains the coco-booze in one extended scull.
Assuming that it has the restorative properties promised, he'll stump to the second shell and pour the lot down the Groom's gullet.
Taking the four sips left in the big nut putting me at 1 HP, then pouring all six in the second nut down the Grooms drinking hole.

the Groom |

the Groom dreams he is approaching the Seawraith in his small fishing boat. As he nears, a rope tossed down to him. He stands in the small rocking boat, preparing to haul on the rope, when a giant white wave rises up and tosses him from the craft to plunge....plunge....plunge... into milk?
the Groom sputters to consciousness, "..not salty enough..
His eyes come to focus on Dibbits and a coconut. Seeing him revived Dibbets drops his head unceremoniously back on the ground.
the Groom groggily gets to his feet. Upon seeing the dead mayor, "Good job with that. He was shooting all kinds of purple lightening."
He goes to grab the Mayor's boot, "We should throw him in the fire. Don't want his diseased god to send this diseased corpse after us....Why is he all wet?"

Cap'n Voodoo |

With everyone back on their feet more or less, the Groom heads back into the corn maze to grab the mayor's body for a final farewell. Right about when he hits the corner however, he hears some odd sounds. An oozing meaty sound of flesh swelling and rupturing.
yeah, ain't quite over yet :P you will need light.

Dibbets |

Dibbs toothpick should still be lit up from his pathetic attempt at bluffing
Mouthing Not again Dibbs holds his staff forwards in the left while clutching at his Gozreh holy symbol with his right hand. Muttering a short prayer "Don't you feckin dare piss in me eye tonight skylord" Dibbs then calls out "What've we got Groomy? Is the skeeter man not all gone yet?..."

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

Angry and apostate Kaul dusts himself down and glares at the mercurial monkey idol;
"Hur... Iffen we're startin a fire, reckon I could suggest some kindling hur-hur..."

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

Kaul jabs his thumb towards himself;
"I'll go... got the eyes fer it. An' clearly I ain't wanted no more by old monkey-sticks there..."
Kaul glares at Tum, afore hefting Bess in his paw and slinking into the shadows;
Stealth towards the sound: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Perception (if necessary): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Cap'n Voodoo |

Kaul creeps back toward the mayor's body which seems to be the source of the odd noises. As he near the turn in the corn maze path, he can see the mayor's foot in a pool of far more blood than Kaul would have expected. Kaul carefully peers around the corner and sees something he probably wishes he hadn't.

"Keelhaul" Kaul |

Seeing the horror that the mayor's become Kaul bellows on his mates;
"Mayors went devil-bug on us lads! He's a giant bug-sucker!! Ready yer best and I'll keep the bastich busy fer a while!!!"
Uncharacteristically selfless Kaul kisses his Besmara charm and charges the hatching mossie-mayor;
Bess Charge: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
Cleaver Damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 2) + 4 = 7

Cap'n Voodoo |

Keelhaul Kaul- 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Madman Jim- 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
The Groom- 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Dingus- 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Bad News 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Round 1
Suck-squatch
Kaul
For a moment, Kaul can almost see the mayor smiling in the eyes of the abomination. Then Kaul charges forward and hits an aura of lassitude that surrounds the mega-parasite.
DC 16 will save or as slow spell.
i.e. Staggered, -1 AC, attacks, and reflex saves.
Kaul sadly realizes the mayor has become something far worse than a high priest of a bug god as he feels it in his mind willing him to stop, frozen in place.
DC 17 will save or parayzed.
