Your character would know the basics Hellknights, at least. They are not inherently evil, but it is rather suspicious, at least, to find one in this situation.

No worries. Can you please at some point between now and then add a "Bot me" spoiler to your profile with simple instructions on how you would like to be botted? Even better would be to include combat rolls that I can copy/paste (like this, for example). I'm not sure exactly what will be happening at that moment, but it's good PbP practice anyway.

Double checking my understanding of the rules... with a 20ft movement speed, I get a -2 to all skill checks? That means I'll have a -6 to all the physical skills, even if I put away the shield. I guess I could cast Guidance on myself, if I take a round to do it.

It's not impossible, but I have a feeling I'll end up hanging out at the rear, cheering on the speedy folks. Or having fun narrating how awful Zekuli is at this whole business.

Deenha has pretty good odds of moving forward, because she only takes -2, and is high dex and good skills, so you could send Mr. Tiggles with her with a defend trick, maybe.

I did miss that -2, but would still move forward.

What's the word on trying to attack the assassin with ranged attacks?

Each card is roughly 30ft distance. A creature more than 3 cards away has total cover and total concealment. Creatures 3 cards away have improved cover and concealment. Creatures 2 cards away have partial cover and concealment. Creatures 1 card away only have partial cover.

Ughh, these chase rules make no sense. During the chase, I was 60 ft away from the assasin. Now, I'm 100 ft away. And that's after the abstraction of being unable to act last turn so that I could get closer!

Hm... that's a good point. The scenario says you appear on the western edge of the map, but I don't see why that should add distance between you based on my choice of map placement. I'll move you forward a bit and say that you started 60 ft. away. Telos, I'll assume that means you double-moved instead of taking the run action, so you wouldn't be flat footed.
