Makes sense, Vincent. Similarly, Eli is, save for his mask, rather plain for his people.
Just wasn't some thing I thought of. In my case, though, as the holder of group funds, it seems like I should have thought beyond my character. Ah, well.
It's up to you, Arabeth... I just... could see it going poorly. Having just relearned that part about channeling myself (for another character), it was on my mind...

Elysium "Eli" Blackdun |

It's really easy to do. You're fine.
Older editions didn't let you really heal with them, so it wasn't something you had to think about.
I created a life oracle with channel... and later had it pointed out that I might want to take selective channel for exactly that reason...
It's why it was on my mind. :)
Cheers.

Asking because I may be misunderstanding: Isn't Coup-de-Grace just a full-round action? Sorry if it's a noob question.

Elysium "Eli" Blackdun |

Normally, yes, but if the creature is invisible, it's two: one to find the creature, and one to actually perform the coup-de-grace. (EDIT: See the last paragraph of the link you made.)
If you're responding to Chap, I'm presuming that's what's going on, since the imps seem to be vanishing.
EDIT: To be clear, it's easy to miss. It's not really a problem at all.
Also, to weigh in: I love this group. We're pretty great!

Sister Azmaria |

I like this group also
but sometimes I think Sister A comes off kind of preachy. But that is a bit of what I wanted.
she is extremely devout in her faith.

Elysium "Eli" Blackdun |

I really do like all of the characters.
I think they're all "preachy" in some ways - even in their silence.
Some are more verbally insistent, some are more quietly so, but there is friction and there are disagreements... even while folk get along well.
It's interesting that, more than once, someone has taken offense at something someone else has said. I find that fascinating, in terms of character-dynamics: people who are family, need to get along, and generally do, but also maintain a hint of friction along the way.
I also like the people that just straight-up get along: no offense, no distrust (or at least no dislike), and no problems. The interaction of the offenses, of the calm, of the opposed philosophies, or the unspoken or similar philosophies - that dynamic is really great! I really like the way people get along (or don't), the personal dramas (crushes, faith, rejection, dislike, interest, etc) and, though I'm sorry to lose him, even Andrei the Slayer's departure creates and interesting story.
It's really cool. :D
Awesome, thanks, Eli!
Glad to help! ^-^

Cernan the Patient |

Personally, I'm just surprised that no characters have taken a dislike to Cernan. He's not exactly a likable fellow, even if he absolutely does mean well just like everyone else.

Sister Azmaria |

Actually Sister Az, does not particularly care for Cernan but she has not voiced it for now, to prevent premature judging

Cernan the Patient |

Well, we do both have the same heritage.
And there's a reason Color Spray is Cernan's favorite spell.

Okay, I am officially addicted to this game.
I can't help it.
The next major gameplay post is up.
Have at it! :)
3+ rounds of fourteen-player combat finished in just over three days ... you guys are amazing!
And, Nat, Eli, & all, you're quite welcome.
Hey, if it isn't fun, why play? :)

Kiwyn the White |

Sorry for not posting sooner. Had a busy weekend between work and a day trip to SPX.
A little friction between family seem normal to me. Kinda boring without it. ;P

Natanja Ogenj |

Especially family who didn't know of each other's existence until recently ... ;)
Some friction makes sense - Maybe when they get to know each other better -- they will understand (and forgive the quirks). Or we can just have some fun squabbles every now and again. ;p
I know some siblings and cousins that can't stand one another and keep apart-- ha!

Elysium "Eli" Blackdun |

Heads up, my Eli Alias was spammed recently by a "former Egyptian general" who wanted to *ahem* "give me 2.5 BILLION GBP" - just be aware that he might be trolling our Game for spam-targets.

Cernan the Patient |

Huh, nobody contacted me. I guess Cernan has too many ranks in Sense Motive to be a target for this sort of thing.
P.S. I now regret not naming this alias "Detective Cernan."

GM Angelina |

Kiwyn, no problem!
Detective Cernan, apparently I was not chosen either. :)
Natanja... my thought for your first question would be 'no' and for your second question would be 'um...maybe not?' ... but if anyone can find any rules about it, or wants to try making persuasive arguments about it, feel free. I could be convinced otherwise.

Cernan the Patient |

Cernan's got enough alchemical knowledge that he might be able to whip up some sort of vitriol or other solvent to dissolve the bodies in, although the very thought disgusts him.

Natanja Ogenj |

@GM: That's why I didn't have Nat offer to burn the bodies due to the fact she made the check earlier knowing their fire immunity. But Lesith told Nat to burn the bodies or douse them in holy water and I was unsure what to say. I'll rp it shortly. Thanks. :)

Elysium "Eli" Blackdun |

Can he make something that would allow them to use the bile, gore, or other elements to overcome their damage reduction, considering a creature's natural weapons automatically overcome their own DR?
Alternatively, one of the things Eli is thinking of is asking Cernan to bind the flesh to the ends of his staff so he may bypass their DR... though I'm not sure that will work, and the GM would need to approve it, if it functions at all.
Finally, Eli finds the poison to be of exceptional use: the evil outsiders may be immune, but their (presumably) human master is not.

GM Angelina |

Some of the inner parts might be burnable, but not the skin, and not some of the other parts either.
The imp's natural weapon is its stinger, so, no, I don't think putting some of its hide or bile on a stick would allow it to pierce imp skin.
Carefully collecting the stingers (with a risk of poisoning oneself) might be possible... not to use as a perpetually poison-renewing weapon, but to craft into limited doses of imp poison (with appropriate craft alchemy checks) which could then be used to coat other weapons as usual for poison.
I could rule that the hide of these imps might be crafted together into a fire-resistant armor, with the appropriate time and checks.
If you're planning on skinning the imps or cutting off stingers or anything, I suggest asking Shyness to use her claws to do it, so that you can actually cut through the hide. :)
But, you could always bag them for now and deal with them later.
Didn't any of the fourteen of you think to purchase sacks?

Cernan the Patient |

That's a pretty disgusting idea. Holy water should dissolve the bodies of most devils just fine, but we'd need someone with the actual Bless Water spell.
Or, y'know, bury the corpses and never touch them again.

Elysium "Eli" Blackdun |

Well, Eli's actually, currently using his shirt to bag them all... and, uh, no, Eli didn't think of that. There's a lot he didn't think of... XD

GM Angelina |

LOL... My own question got me curious, so I had to check... and I must say, you guys sure aren't a typical band of mercenary PCs out to hunt and bag treasure! (Of which I am glad!) Out of the fourteen of you, only Kiwyn and Lesith have any sacks! (2 each) (...unless I missed someone else)
However, Eli reminded me, you do actually have lots of saddlebags now, some of which are empty and available for use.

Brit "Chap" Norgant |

I don't know that you could fit all three imp corpses in your shirt, Eli. :)
I just realized after reading this thread, my inventory didn't update when I was accepted as a player... arg

Cernan the Patient |

Err, I didn't list it specifically. But yeah, Cernan doesn't have bags. He has suitcases, which he has awkwardly strapped to his mule.

Eli has a breast sack?

Cernan does have a strapping mule but still no sack

Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked.
