Character description
Brit is a fair skin woman, with black eyes and an exotic hair style. She has thin eyebrows, and a pointed chin. She is 5' and has a slender build. Her clothes are usually quite plain and she prefers them to be form fitting. There is a distinctive birthmark on her left hand almost like a tattoo in the shape of a rectangle with a mole at each end. People tend to find her scars, obtained from a fire during the raider attack in her youth, unattractive. She looks much younger than she really is.

Backstory
Born into the world in the largest city in the world Brittany Norgant is the eldest of two children; her brother Sarad 12 years her younger. Brit's parents were entertainers of no insignificance. They moved to a smaller village several years after Brit's birth to avoid misfortune at the hands of a growing nationalist rooted violence and to take advantage of a management position within a tradesman guild.

The move did not shelter Brit and her family from the reach of the nationalists influence. A horde of raiders attacked Brit's settlement and killed many people in the attack. Brit harbor's a deep resentment toward a particular group (to be determined later in home brew setting). She often has an axe to grind with anyone associating with them.

The attack left a lasting impression on Brit and is the spark that started her toward becoming an Inquisitor even as her parents tried to encourage her to be an entertainer or a tradesman. However Brit learned during the attack that in the heat of battle even the most devout can waiver in faith. She subsequently dedicated herself to stewarding the faith of soldiers and allies in times of great conflict.

One of her close associates during her training was a clown who mocked propriety and custom, instead engaging in wild and somewhat random actions from time to time. After a while, she learned that there was simple wisdom to this foolery—a careless worldview that taught Brit how to cast off concern. This attitude eventually got her into trouble.

Lack of concern led her to relieve a corrupt official in town of several valuable items that Brit thought would help her faith more than it was helping him. Lord Barrismont suspected it was Brit, but could never quite prove it, though that doesn't stop him from soiling her reputation when he was able.

More recently Sarad became a squire, despite his parents wishes, to follow in Brit's example. Brit missed Sarad's induction ceremony, choosing pleasure over over family, and Barrismont took the opportunity to assign Sarad to a paladin that was headed beyond the edges of civilization. Brit's parents blamed her for this, and have shunned her ever since. Brit's Inquisitor order, shortly thereafter, took measures to hide Brit away from Barrismont's vendetta. Brit has always been in denial for the part she played in her family's separation, blaming it on Barrismont's misguided loyalties and hollow faith.

Romance
There have been few significant relationships with individuals on several occasions, but it's never worked out. Brit's concern never translates to more than just a fleeting moment.

Other Drawbacks
Brit is truly comfortable only around others of her race (humans), and has a hard time putting faith or trust in those of races different from her own. This extends into those of different faiths and religions and also to foreigners. Her time training to become an inquisitor catered to her distrust of others since the raider attack in her youth.

Note on flight
Brit does not have wings that enable her to fly, she is simply and inexplicably just shuttled from one place to another. She is often very nervous when she is maneuvering around this way. She usually keeps this ability a secret as to avoid speculation of her abilities. She is very clueless on why she can fly at all.

Notes
Devoted in faith
Doesn't stress or get serious because she isn't concerned
Enjoys pleasurable things to a fault
Has little respect for position of standings
Copes through denial, blaming someone or something else
